The best bagels around are to be found in this hidden gem tucked away in Spotswood NJ! Always fresh, flavorful, 'bubbly', and they offer a wide variety of choices. Crunchy on the outside, yet soft and pillowy on the inside. Perfect for breakfast, lunch or even dinner. Wonderful owner and staff! A+++!

My go to bagel place, no one in this area can make a bagel like manhatten bagel. My favorite is the everything bagel with butter. Coffee is pretty good too. I wish the saturday hours were a little longer.

I've been living five years in the neighborhood and never knew this place was right around the corner. It is tucked in the corner of a small plaza. The store is clean, well staffed and friendly. The bagels are amazing. They are very soft and fresh. They offer a good variety of bagels, sandwiches, coffee and other baked goods. This has become regular place of ours. Unfortunately it is a very small shop and doesn't allow for customers to be able to eat inside. There are several tables outside which is fine fo nice weather. Service is fast even when they are busy.

Ordered an egg and cheese on grub hub. They sent me one with bacon even though I did not order any. Customer service was nice on the phone but I won’t be driving there to pick up a replacement sandwich.

Their nova lox bagel is very reasonably priced compared to other places. I'm not even a huge fan of lox, but it was very good.

Got pork roll egg and hashbrowns on a sesame seed bagel. Smallest portion from a bagel place ive gotten in a long time. Pork roll is super thin. the sandwich wasnt bad but also nothing great. Customer service was really good though

The MANHATTAN BAGEL on SUMMERHILL ROAD in SPOTSWOOD, NJ is a 5-star spot to get bagels. This is without question my go to place for bagels from coast to coast. Although I live in Colorado I quite often visit my family back home in New Jersey, at which time I am always sure to buy as many bagels as I can fit in my bag. Actually, these bagels are pretty much why I purchased a stand up freezer, so that I could have bagels accessible where I am now. Even in Denver, the bagels I bought in a bagel shop (a shop which claims to have adjusted the mineral content of the water to make it match that of the water in New York), and in my opinion it wasn’t even a good attempt. To add to that the staff are an amazing group that treat me like family. The staff and owner all know and greet me by name when I arrive and not that it matters but, if you forgot my name after a year of not showing up, I would understand, yet that wasn’t the case. The staff they have on board are amazing, which includes MOISES, TINO, JESSI, ARA CELY, LALO, AND PINNA LISSE. I would recommend this bagel shop to anyone looking for good food and good service from good people. **RECOMMENDATION: DOWNLOAD THE MANHATTAN BAGEL APPLICATION ON YOUR PHONE FOR QUICK AND EASIER SERVICE

Not a bad tasting meal. However, you all really need to work on your manners as associates and customers, this goes for everybody in this whole world. Whether, you like someone or not; this world belongs to NO one. Also every food item in this Bagel shop is wayyyy overpriced. I will NOT be returning. Say what you may, I stand greatly by what I stated. Need I add, I could careLESS if you like me-Just Respect ME. Clearly, some of you need to go back to Kindergarten (Where manners is supposed to be taught). FYI: It is just food! There is no reward for getting it first. 😂

Gluten free customer here. Gluten free selection is an individually bagelinos bagel and it is like Brazilian cheese bread if you have ever had it. I got it with a container of veggies cream cheese and applied it myself to avoid cross contamination with wheat. Also fruit cups that I saw. Overall great experience. But wish there was more gluten free options.

This Manhattan bagel store is their best location in the area by far. The owner is usually on site and very friendly. This location is very clean and the bagels and sandwiches are excellent. My son loves the breakfast sandwiches in particular. The entire staff is friendly, work quickly, and make your food with care. I would recommend this location to anyone in the area looking for breakfast or lunch. They have outdoor seating if you would like to dine there, but right now dont have indoor seats. Prior to the covid they had indoor seating. They also have a coffee station but I've never used it. I do see most customers getting coffee so I assume it is as good as the rest of the menu.

put in a doordash order unfortunately my order came incorrectly. when I called I spoke with the manager there and he was very apologetic and found a way to have my correct order redelivered within 20 minutes with out me having to place a new order through. I honestly get Manhattan bagel once a week and this is the first time I had an issue and they were really amazing while they were busy trying to fix it for me. great food and great people!
