I do shop from home and lately the produce has been terrible!!!! I got these Saturday and held on to them to show how horrible these look vs the shoprite in Newark. I’ll travel all the way back to my home town of Essex for the freshest produce. They’ve never failed me, 2nd picture is from Newark shoprite

I love shopRite. Veggies and fruits are so fresh. I go for 1 thing and i end up buying $100 worth groceries. They have good meet too. Its always well organized and associates are there to help. Price are a bit on high side for some products. I can shop there the whole day. When you are a cook you are in love with grocery store 😋😍 follow me on youtube sumalena's kitchen.

It use to be awesome back in the day but I guess the supplies are lower. I do like the Bell Peppers mixer but it's like the other ShopRite store that doesn't carry my favorite Fajita mix. I do like the little dinner's.

Yesterday, the deli young male employee at the prepared foods counter treated us like we were inconveniencing him. His body language was anything but professional. If he doesn’t like helping people because it’s too much for him than maybe he shouldn’t be in customer service.

I remember this shop right back in the 70s when my mother and me and other siblings would do our shopping on the 1st of the month because we lived in subsidized housing and received Social Services assistant but my mother would only go to this ShopRite and one day I asked her and she said they treated me with respect even though she receives government assistance with her three carts full of groceries the ShopRite management at the time would opened up a special line so that she would not have to wait in a regular line and I remember this till this day I am now 63 years old I now visit the ShopRite it brings back good memories but also it shown me that things can span the test of time and still be good no matter where you from

Well stocked and well staffed.. Large Hot and Cold Buffets.. Walmart tried to put a dent in their customers.. but no comparison!! Ck em out..

I purchased 4 packages of Chicken Thighs from this Shop Rite. I found out they were rotten when I went home. I tried to return them and they refused claiming I was beyond the 7 day limit. It was only 8 days since I made the purchase! This happened once before and I kept quiet, thinking it was a rare accident. When it happened a second time, I realized this must be very poor management. Needless to say, I will never buy raw Chicken or raw meat from this Shop Rite again!

Nice store. Real cozy.

The checkout system is the worst, all the time I want pay something is a problem. And the Associate at the front don't help to much. One time one of them was behind me, didn't even say nothing, and scared me, when I saw is hand around me to put the PAID sticker.

I like everything about this store except the customer service in the deli department. I put an order on the kiosk in the front of the store to save time and avoid the deli line. The time my order was supposed to take was 45 minutes which was already quite long, but when I went to pick up my order it hadn't even been started and that was past the 45 minute time., then I was told they were out of one of the items I ordered. Meanwhile, I'm standing at the deli counter while the line went down to nothing and I still didn't get my order. The absolute worst customer service experience.

I have been shopping here for years and the past couple of years the quality of the customers has decreased significantly. This it out of the store’s control. However, when an associate uses the PA system to complain “To the customer who emptied their cart onto the floor in aisle 23 I thank you” it is not cute, it is unprofessional. The answer to trashy customers is not trashy employees. I would have fired that guy on the spot if I owned the store. I want to shop in peace. Keep your complaints to yourselves and remember that Stop and Shop is right across the street.

Great store to shop and find a variety of fresh food and tasty prepared food. I was able to get everything on my list for my short stay in town. Everyone was so friendly and the young man who checked me out was the sweetest. Just an FYI bring bags with you. They do sell reusable bags there but if you are like me, you probably have many sitting at home.

I shopped at this shoprite from approx 2005 to 2015. The store always had food I wanted, and items I tried. They had a Chinese food station that I bought from. Nice parking area.

This is a store I like very much. The shopping environment and things here are all good value for money. Hope it keep going like this.

The store itself is well organized, and the staff is friendly, but the big attraction is the kosher experience section. It’s magnificent! And service is great.

Still since the new bag change , shame on their cashiers for not helping to bag. I have an injured neck and arm. I spend 300 dollars a week there. Better service at stop and shop, where I will be shopping from now on.

This ShopRite is terrible for catering. My friend placed a kosher catering order not too long ago and it couldn’t be fulfilled. First off it was for a bat mitzvah and we left SPECIFIC instructions on making sure everything ordered will follow the preparation in the kosher faith. Gotten 2 emails from a HR manager and a customer service manager. Both were unprofessional. I called them MYSELF due to the lack of them answering the phone when my friend called to talk about the catering order. Neither one answered. I’m friends with Mr Saker himself. I will make sure both get terminated for being unprofessional and failure to communicate. This review will not being getting removed by me. I’ll leave their names here. HR is Arianna Orcutt and customer service manager is Dayna Rogers. If you plan to place a catering order from this ShopRite, you’re better off placing a catering order at the ShopRite in Spotswood or Sayreville. They’re more professional and kind.

As someone who just moved into the area, it is a pleasure to have a local ShopRite that is well maintained and staffed such as the East Brunswick location. Only good experiences here so far!

Shop from home is supposed to be helpful YEAH RIGHT!!!!. it's past my delivery time and my order is still at the store give me a break I placed order yesterday to delivery today really can't even get that right. You are better off doing your own shopping!!!!!. Will never use it again!!!!!.

Don’t go there buy Beef liver from them they do add wrong price on the beef liver not the same as on their website ….. I bought from them beef liver the price should be 2.69/Ib I get 1.17 Ib so I should charged about 3$ however they charged me 9.35 $ and the receipt was mentioned on it that I bought 3.35Ib however the actual size was just 1.17 Ib

Genuinely one of the better shoprites around. This huge, clean store has everything you could need and the staff is very friendly and helpful. This is conveniently located too by a major highway. Of course it gets crowded so get there early or shop late to avoid the mobs.

Good,for the most part clean,always parking and pretty decently priced;especially when comparing to stop and shop.Not their fault people took the red hand baskets from the store and didn’t return them.

The EB store's Customer Service is terrible. I bought $50 gift card during the promotion period, but the $10 coupon didn't print. It's the exact card listed on their weekly ad. After waiting 5 minutes in line for in-person CS, the lady told me to ask the cashier next week and wouldn't bother to write down the promotional code on the receipt as a proof. All this trouble was caused by the store's technical issue, not your customer. Why does the customer have to deal with it? I wrote to the Contact Us on the Shoprite site. No one replied at all, so far it's been 6 days. Very disappointed!
