I love this supermarket and I'm super sad they're going to be closing and will replace it with apartments. They have very reasonable prices, good selection of products and great deals in their rewards program

This is a rather in exciting super market. What really bothered me was a worker from bakery was complaining over and over about this and that about the job. Listen I get it but don’t do it in front of customers. The cake I bought however was not affected by the negativity-it was delicious and reasonably priced.

I’m usually a huge fan of acme supermarkets, and hold it to a high regard compared to that of shoprite, but this location was by far disgusting. Grime and stickiness in the cold refrigerated area shelves, brown meat that’s past it’s prime, [not to mention the only things you see on some kind of amazing sale, are things they can’t get rid of (like the off-putting display of Christmas or maybe Easter hams, clearly relabeled over and over, so who knows if they’re still safe to eat or not) or the hot dogs that are already expired], and just overall displeasure in the store. I see from other commenters it’s being torn down soon for apartments, and you can see that the store employees and management have clearly already given up. Seafood dept. was closed at 5:45pm. Fix your image here Acme. The way this store is being run, it would make more sense to take the loss and close down now than wait the year for the lease to run out….

This is my favorite grocery store. It's not as fancy as a Wegman's but who cares. The main reason we like the store is their quality of meats. We usually buy eye round roasts that are much better quality than Wegman's. They offer quality deli meats and great rotisserie chicken. The store is clean and the staff are friendly. We are very sad that this store will be replaced by apartments. It will really impact our seniors who are intimidated by the big box stores and shop the Acme instead.

I wish I had this store in my town or at least closer to me. I will definitely make a point of shopping here every time I'm up in the East Brunswick / Miltown area. (which will be pretty regular as my daughter and grandson live there and I'm there every chance I get) The store was so clean, organized, & great people!

It's a nice store. Their Signature brand of food is usually pretty good for most things. As several reviews mentioned I like that the store usually doesn't feel too high strung like several other bigger stores do in the area. The deli has good products. Harold is always good for good customer service and laughs.

Great store for a quick pickup if you don't want to do a full shopping have to check the deals they have otherwise the prices are a little bit higher than other supermarkets

Worst ever restaurant I have seen in recent times. I ordered Rich cake of 33 oz for my friends Birthday to cut at 12 AM in the midnight through Uber eats just now but they have replaced Rich cake with Kimberly cup cakes without my consent. No one has contacted me, without my consent they replaced with 4 cup cakes. Our complete plans has been ruined by this restaurant. This is not at all acceptable, when I call to the restaurant support, they told you have ordered through Uber eats and you should contact Uber eats support. Worst ever restaurant and service.

They leave expired coupons on the shelves and create a sense of false savings. That's a poor practice. It is not that difficult to pull expired coupons or at least honor them until you can take the 5 seconds to pull them down.

Closed at 8:45pm on Monday? The door and google hours say 10pm ?? Please update your hours According to reviews below, this isn't the first time they locked the doors early. And the only response they give people is "refer to our team"...? I have never seen a grocery store do this

This Acme will be closing in the future so it was no surprise that the shelves were half stocked. They have more than a year left but they already are letting go of any cleanliness or bbn order to anything. It was always more expensive than other stores in the area but was convenient.

Place is the horrible did a app to work there soon as they heard my name I got the run around gave my number 5 times never got a call back even after hearing the hiring manager in the background telling the customer service clerk say she wasnt there after hearing it was me calling again.. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

Good selection usually not crowded. Alil pricey but now everywhere is pricey and they have sales often that bring it to competitive price point.

Nice, clean store. Shelves full with lots of choices. Good workers who are willing to help shoppers.

The employees are very friendly, and there is very rarely a large crowd of customers. You can shop at your own pace. The vegetables and fruit are very good and so is the meat selection. The prices are a little bit on the high side but the quality makes up for that!

Clean store but not a large selection of products. I like shopping here when in town as it's part of the Albertsons / Safeway chain that we have in Hawaii so they carry many of the Safeway brands (I.e., Safeway kitchens, O'organics, etc). Problem is the store is small and not full selection of brands and products like ShopRite. Store layout is scattered as well with bakery and snack cake items strewn throughout the store. This place is good for quick shopping but better off at ShopRite for full selection and much better prices.

Got to love the bathrooms right up front, and this store is never too busy... 🤷👏😉

This supermarket offers an impressive selection of vegtables, fruits and other products. This store is so clean you can practically eat off the floors. Prices are cheaper than wegmans or whole foods for about the same quality.

Good selection of kosher cheese and foods. Also has a nice kosher bakery, but beware that anything made at the bakery is not nut/sesame allergy friendly and susceptible to cross-contamination per the person working the bakery when I was there.

Store hours shows it closes at 10 but they closed the doors early. I got there at 9:55 and the doors from both entrances were locked. What if people need stuff for their infants?
