They have recently moved the cafe from Montgomery plaza to the plaza on the opposite side of the road. They serve decent variety of coffee( hot and cold), Ice creams, shakes and swirls in cone and cup. They also serve soups and bakery items. Nice and cozy place to visit with kids and friends.

Great service and delicious ice cream. My only gripe is that they do not clearly label any of their flavor buckets.

I stopped by the store tonight 2 minutes before closing time. The door was open and customers inside. I asked to buy 2 quarts of ice cream and the little girl behind the counter refused to serve me and was rude and dismissive. The last time I ever step into this overpriced and under performing store

Thomas Sweet, to put it lightly, is the greatest ice cream place on this planet, and we are blessed to live in NJ and be within 15 minutes of two locations. I don’t want to tell you how to order, but if you order anything other than cookies and cream ice cream blended with peanut M&Ms, you are not achieving your own potential in life.

Really enjoyed working and dining here! The wifi was reliable, the staff were polite and courteous, and the coffee/food was tasty. Note that they may have a limited menu when you come in, but it shouldn't be too much of an issue: when I came some of their soups and salads weren't available, but they had sandwiches, coffee, baked goods, and ice cream. Everything was clean and there were outlets available (although some tables do not have any outlets nearby - make sure you snag one of the ones with outlets!). It was pretty quiet so it was an excellent place to work/read/relax. It was a bit cold temperature-wise so you might want to bring a jacket.

A nice coffee, pastry & ice-cream place in a plaza next to a cinema. I stopped here because my son playing tennis at the Nassau Tennis Club for a few hours, and I didn't expect there is a jazz band playing. I have never seen a band in a coffee place, but I enjoyed. The one thing they need to fix is the decor - need to relocate the refrigerator in the middle of the room that is taking away the sitting area so the bar space can be used, move the machines inside the bar, and utilize the back of the room space.

Way over priced. $18 for 2 scoops and a small milkshake. Rude teenagers running the place. This used to be a fun place to go. They don't even have espresso. Very disappointing, won't be going to any thomas sweet again.

Hidden Princeton gem now in Montgomery. Staff is super friendly. Will took care of us and made our families experience an awesome one. Everyone here is friendly! The whacky mirror keeps the kids busy

Place is not like it used to be. First thing is dust, this place is fill with dust. All furniture are completely fill with lots of dust and you see it just flying in the air. The walk in carpet is completely dirty and dusty. My kids and wife wanted ice cream real bad. So we all walked in real quick got our stuff and left a.s.a.p. new employees are confused on making orders the right way. Other then that, ice creams were good. Hope the owner looks up this review and does something about it. Just giving my opinion here.

Asked for a double cone of chocolate with mint chocolate chip. The chocolate tasted like coffee and I am not a coffee person. I asked to switch to all mint chocolate chip. Girl whispered to guy “she didn't want the chocolate” and she told him to do one scoop. She told me I could throw my first one away. I asked if she was replacing my double and she said just the chocolate scoop. I paid for two. Tasted coffee. She told me to throw away my first but replaced with one scoop only til I insisted and she (not very nicely) put the second scoop in a cup. Bad attitude which made for bad environment.

Best ice cream in the area! Service is great and prices are reasonable. Plenty of seating indoor and out. I like to get a cold brew to go with my ice cream too.

Thomas Sweet Cafe has moved - it is no longer next to Montgomery Cinema, but across the street in the same shopping center as Mooyah now. It's a cute, modern redesign for the cafe, with more focus on ice cream (as opposed to the broader cafe options previously available). Unique flavors, locally made, with lots of blend in options make this a great dessert spot for any ice cream fan.

Two young gentlemen by the names of Soham and Kony were very polite, professional, and helpful. They both helped me choose a great ice cream flavor and were very kind. 100% recommend this place.

I have always loved the Blend Ins (ice cream with crushed toppings blended in) but this particular Thomas Sweet location has a café. Pastries, coffee, a great selection of tea, and more. They have indoor and outdoor seating but bring a jacket if you want to stay indoors. They keep it quite chilly for some reason.

Staff were very nice. Approve of the space invaders wall art. Small cappuccino had my heart pounding like a racehorse later. 10/10 would reccomend the coffee and macaroon I got.

I’ve been here about two times in the past couple of years. Every time I go into the cafe I get reminded of why I never wanna go in. This time around hit the spot for me. My friend and I had walked into the store holding my puppy, In my hands trying to order her a small ice cream. Two employees had already seen me holding her, In my hands. While another employee came out and started complaining to another employee talking about my dog. They kept talking until finally someone said something very nasty. I kindly walked out. My friends have seen dogs come in and out of cafe with dogs. Someone had said they don’t care for dogs. I just visited at the wrong time. Didn’t know I had to choose a right time. I guess you aren’t allowed to bring in emotional support dogs. TERRIBLE. JUST TERRIBLE. Another thing is how are you serving me ice cream and very disgusted with my dog but yet your scooping my ice cream without gloves on. It is Covid still. I don’t recommend going here.
