First time visiting Ambee Coffee and had a great experience! We came in quite early one Saturday morning (only a few minutes from their opening time) and i guess that was key! Lol town was still peaceful with no crowds yet and so was the cafe. Inside felt brand new and decor was a vibe. It was cool that they have a live band (not that early of course) and they also have outdoor seating. They only have limited eats though unlike the other branch- only pastries and cookies, which is totally fine. The barista during our visit was wonderful - pleasant, accommodating and made cute latte arts! Hubster, as usual, had a plain latte and I had their cherry ube. It was pretty good. I still like my ube latte “pinoy style” but this was different and I like trying new things with lattes. The Everything croissant with cream cheese was delicious and the cheddar jalapeño scone too! Im not a big scone eater but the one they have here are enjoyable. The cookies were definitely a nice treat too! This cafe is a drive but we’re glad we came to visit. I would absolutely love to come back!

I like both Ambee locations but this is my favorite. Slightly expanded menu here and their fenced in seating with shade provides a nice atmosphere to be with friends or do a little laptop work. This visit was a decaf iced Mexican spicy mocha with pistachio milk. Perfect and delicious.

I came in for a quick breakfast. I left with a muffin, two juices and a matcha. The service was quick and the atmosphere was great. There were a lot of young people inside working on their laptops. It was pretty lively. I'm guessing this is a good and popular spot to work at. The drinks were good very fresh and healthy for sure.

Fellow old school vegans - don't walk, run here! They have SOY MILK! This place is amazing. Great service, delicious coffee, and to-die-for vegan cookies. Thank you for having soy milk in an era where coffee shops think it's not cool anymore.

This coffee shop smack in the middle of Somerville’s main drag is a much needed blast of urban pop, with delicious coffee and snack options set in a bright modern atmosphere. The espresso is strong here. You’ve also got to try some of the house specialties, like the maple Ube latte, designed for oat milk, in all its purple novel glory. Chill vibes, work from home folks, high school study sessions, and weekend friend catch-ups abound, but you’ll also catch a few first or second dates. The staff are friendly, fast, and fun.

This is the cherry Ube latte, with oat milk, it was very good and not too much on the cherry or sweetness. It does leave your mouth purple but kinda a fun experience anyway. My sister's also got the cold brew which they said was good, and they had their oatmeal and chocolate chip cookies which were a little on the sweet side. The staff seemed a little annoyed cause we didn't know what we wanted at first, but overall it was a good time and I would go back. They also have a nice outside area to sit too.

Love Ambee! If you love good coffee and sense of community, you have to check our Ambee. Cold brew is our favorite, but can’t go wrong with a classic cappuccino or latte on a rainy day.

TRY THEIR NITRO COLD BREW! I added vanilla and oat milk, and it was the perfect pick-me-up with just the right amount of sweetness and milkiness. Come here to grab coffee and get some work done - there’s a good amount of tables and outlets available. Love the spot! Had the maple ginger coffee and it was amazing. Great atmosphere to meet people or work quietly. The prices are very reasonable as well.

Great place for coffee. Love their almond croissants !! If you are looking for gluten free vegan options this is the place to be.

Best coffee place I've been to in like a long time ! We tried cold brew, cappuccino, Lattes all were really nice and banana bread on the side, it was just right amout of sweetness and i loved it. Ambience was super cool to have a short date or take pictures with your girls ;)

Such a cute coffee shop, got a drip coffee with a splash of milk. Super delicious coffee, great taste!!! Came here to work, the wifi and everything is good but it is quite loud here to keep that in mind. Still super happy that I came by and hope to come back!

My new favorite spot! Very cozy, great ambiance, kind staff, and high quality coffee! One of the few places using organic beans. Perfect place to meet a friend or do some work (plenty of outlets and a bathroom).

Friendly staff, amazing coffee, great interior design - this is one of my most favorite coffee shops around. My husband and I used to live in Brooklyn and when we moved out to Somerville, Lucid made us feel a little more at home with their quaint but hip coffee shop. They provide organic coffee, as well as a wide range of milk options. They also have the most delicious pastries. You MUST try the VEGAN strawberry crunch donut. I'm not even vegan but this is my go-to pastry. Their hours are extensive and they have live music often. Lucid is located right in the heart of Somerville's downtown scene. I highly recommend visiting if you're in the area!

BEST coffee shop I've been to in decades! Seriously! They have unique vegan options like Ashapops and cold-pressed juice made with E3-Live. They play excellent music videos. Customers are in there acting reading books and working on their laptops -- something you rarely see anymore, which gives an old school late 1990s vibe. The girls behind the counter are super friendly, especially the one who took care of my husband and I. I wish I got her name (pretty, long brown hair). She took great care of us, letting us sample various vegan cookies and even offered to warm them for us. She really went over the top! Also, love the humor of the place. On the trash can there was a small sigh that said, "Trash - Like Your Ex." I laughed so hard seeing that! Too cute!

Love this coffee shop! They're probably my favorite in the area. The environment is chill and not too loud with friendly staff at all times. It's a great place to work in, and the outdoor space is nice too when it's nice out. I'm usually a black coffee/cold brew type of guy, but their specialty drinks are all super interesting and tasty. I think they change the specialty drinks too once in a while so grab them while you can!

I love this coffee place! The atmosphere is always welcoming and happy. The service is wonderful and speedy. The different milk options are incredible, especially pistachio milk!!! Ughh delish! I love that they make their own nut milks right on site, so everything is super fresh. And of course there's nothing like a hot, buttery croissant to go with your morning coffee. Highly recommend!!

Amber Coffee Co. is a really nice little café with friendly baristas and positive vibes It can be a little cold inside, and the organic drip coffee is good but could be better

The BEST coffee! Everything is so consistent here…coffee, food, baked goods, service. The atmosphere is super chill, feels comfortable to hang around after. All the employees are lovely, and are very knowledgeable. If you are looking for that local spot, it’s here.

Love this place! It’s one of my favorite places to chill at locally. They have great drinks, deserts (gotta try the cookies…like all the cookies…), and bring in some super fun musicians if you come on the right days. Recently I had the pleasure of being served by Melissa, who was super down to earth and so personable. She introduced me to a new drink that I now love. Honestly the service is always great. So grateful we have a place like Ambee around.

I how fresh and delicious the ingredients are at Ambee are and and how cool the atmosphere is, both inside and out. The cold brew and London fog latte are favs, plus the seasonal drinks and little bites are always yummy! Staff are friendly and always helpful, but they also have a new app for ordering online! 10/10 recommend :)

A chic, trendy coffee shop to sit back and enjoy your drink of choice. I went and their were a lot of customers on their computer so I chose to sit outside on the warm, sunny day. The barista was very busy and still did an excellent job with my drink. I ordered an iced Chai Tea, and it was delicious. It was creamy, not too sweet, and just enough ice. There was an added ingredient that gave it an extra punch. I'm not sure what it was, but it had a wonderful taste. If you're planning to just sit and enjoy your drink, it's best to go at a time when it's not so busy with people on their computers. I will need to go back for another iced chai latte and find out what that ingredient was. Overall, it was a great experience.

The cutest gem in Somerville NJ. Organic coffee and vegan bakery options for days! Even though there are many other “coffee” shops to choose from in town this one is my favorite local cafe. 🖤

Love the coffee at Lucid. I have my favorites and it depends on the time of day which one I get. LOVE the cold brew and the medium house roast. The customer service is fabulous and feels like home when I get my coffee.

My fave local coffee spot. Friendly staff. Iced latte is my go-to, and hot drinks are on point as well. Baked goods are more unique than most other places and tasty. And the cold brew donut. I can’t. Just beyond. Now that I’m writing this I need to go back for another one… this place alone is worth a trip to Somerville.

The atmosphere is the best! A balance between calming and relaxing and fun and energetic. All the employees are super friendly and you feel right at home. If you are local, this is the kind of place that you want to keep coming back to! Plus they have an endless refill coffee option that’s keep you on that conversation or book that much longer. Love it!
