I like the interior, it is spacious and nice. What I really love is the outdoor sitting area, it is very fancy and pleasant. It was windy today so we couldn’t sit outside. Food is great. I can say that the avocado toast I had was the best I have ever had. Perfect blend of flavors, mouthwatering. Staff were on point. The interaction and friendliness made us feel very welcome. Would definitely go again and again.

Have been to Bar Louie several times in the past and each time the overall experience was underwhelming, primarily based on the horrendous service and middling food. It does get 1 star for a nice enough outdoor seating area except, even with that, it’s right on top of the Mall’s roadway. Recently, had the worst experience of all. Went here as a couple on a Friday night and couldn’t even get seated, even though there were numerous open tables, both inside and out. Zoom in on the attached photos. When I inquired as to why, was told in an extremely rude way by the hostess that they were busy, short staffed with sever and kitchen help, and had a wait list already. Even if true, figure out a way to seat people to pick up bar and appetizer business… ridiculous!!! When I questioned further, she completely and rudely dismissed us and could care less. I’m sure we weren’t the only ones treated this way as that nasty attitude likely flows from the manager on down. And, they will never have a chance again! Steer clear!

The atmosphere is nice. The waitress was very nice. We got the salmon sliders , salmon was bland and the meal with just tots were not worth the $15.5. The other meal was the seared salmon again was not worth the $20. The blood orange snowbird was a good drink and until Jan $1 of every drink sold goes towards non profit to help vets.

Good place for drinks and bar food. Spacious and clean. Few tvs but not many as some other places I been to. Food was very good . Sliders and the quesadillas had lots of flavor. Definitely recommend those. We had flatbreads a while back and they were good as well. Customer service was about average or below average. I’d like to see a dedicated happy hour menu. I had to go on my phone to see the available options. Servers never seem to inform you of happy hour specials . I’d also like to see maybe a drink menu or something on the tables to give some bar atmosphere and character. Food takes a little long to come out . Our last visit there, literally 3 tables were used , and the food took a long time to arrive. All in all it’s a cool place with great food . Prices weren’t too bad and it wasn’t crowded during the week. I’d recommend.

It was the worst fish and chips I have ever had in my life! Aside from being greasy, the fish was hard, the tar tar sauce was too sweet and it took them over 25 mins to serve me. I was extremely disappointed to say the least. Never ask for that meal here! I will say this, they did not charge me for the bad meal. Thank you for that to the person that made the effort to please a customer.

Great place. Got there on Wednesday around 4 pm, so it was not super busy. I had experienced amazing customer service by Angela. Angela was down to earth and easy going but still very professional. They have one of the best chicken quesadillas i’ve ever tried! They also have amazing sauces, so every snack is delicious just because of the sauce. The chocolate cake could have been more chocolatey and less sugary, but it was still decent. Overall, it’s a great quality and the atmosphere is nice! The interior is well made compared to other bars in NJ. It looks especially good on evenings outside, very cozy and fun atmosphere!

I went there a few months ago with my friends and loved their food and drinks. Today I was craving their delicious fried calamari I ate the first time I went and this is what I got for takeout/pick up. They tasted more like dry fried pork skins. I was disappointed this time!

Had such an amazing time at Bar Louie! The place had this awesome vibe that instantly made me feel at home. You've got to meet Ramsey, the manager – he's just the friendliest person ever, and he's from Cleveland, Ohio. Right from the start, he made us feel super welcome, which really set the tone for the night. Steve, one of the guys working at the bar, deserves a shoutout too. He checked in on us regularly, making sure we were having a good time. And let me tell you about Susie, the bartender – she's a rockstar! Her drinks were seriously out of this world. I can't stop raving about her Grand Lemon Drop Martini – it's like a flavor explosion in the best way possible. Oh, and the Envy Martini? It was like sipping on gummy bears, and surprisingly good! Now, onto the other drinks. The Pineapple Express Sangria was like summer in a glass, so fruity and refreshing. And don't even get me started on the Strawberry Lemonade Sangria – that was a whole new level of delicious. To balance out the sips, we dug into the Chicken Nachos. Let me tell you, those nachos were more than just nibbles – they were downright scrumptious. The flavors all came together so perfectly, and they were the ideal match for the drinks. All in all, Bar Louie totally won me over with its cozy vibes. Ramsey, Steve, and Susie made us feel like old friends, and the drinks and bites were on point. I'll definitely be making my way back for more of that Grand Lemon Drop Martini and good times!

Sub par service and the food was cold by the time I received it. The waitresses enjoy talking, just not to the paying customers, my 1st and last visit for sute.

Food is below average. Worst chicken fingers and fries I have ever had (and how do you mess that up?). The wine glasses were dirty and stained with other people's lipstick. We had to ask for new glasses for 4 people! The waitresses are nice, but even on dead nights they don't come over to the table enough. The alcoholic drinks should not even be considered alcoholic as they do not contain any alcohol. My best friend and I got a whole pitcher of sangria and felt absolutely no buzz. The next time we went back to give it another shot, we had to request they actually put alcohol in the drinks because they are simply not doing that. The place gives me dirty vibes and I will not be returning.

This place has a good vibe to it. Summer time they have outdoor sitting too. Good amount of tv screens for games. One advantage is that it is open till 2am only caveat is that after 10pm only late menus are available. Food and drinks are good but nothing extra ordinary. Overall good place might visit again due to its late hour open

Food was ok, the burgers were good and the fries were hot. The portions are small so don’t expect to get full. I had to order two burgers to feel satisfied.

Taylor was great ! I felt very comfortable here, and the food and drinks were good ! I loved the envy and the beach bum martinis. The gastroburger and seared salmon were delicious. Overall good experince, thank you !

Didn't go to Bar Louie went Bath&Body

Normally would have a good experience at bar Louie. Last 2x had issues. Not sure what is happening with Bar Louie, but seems like the food service has depleted tremendously. My salmon sliders and wings were cold. Sliders had no seasoning as it’s supposed to, no aioli, and no picked on it. Just terrible. Wings were soggy as hell. Won’t get a 3rd strike from me. Insult to injury, per usual no one answers the phone or calls back .

Jack is the best bar tender I’ve ever had. Would highly recommend him & bar Louie! Thank so you so much Jack, you’re the man! Go packers!

Do not go there. The food was awful. Inedible. Same as drinks. No ambiance. Place was empty. Now I know why. The calamari came out w ice cold marinara sauce. The manager later told me that’s how they serve it unless specified. ??! What?! That’s a first. The grilled chicken was not cooked through and chewy. And I was making my daughter eat it til I tried it. The margarita was made w rotten squeezed limes. Didn’t even taste like it had mix. On a good note. Our waitress was very nice and apologetic. Very quick to try and fix what she could. This place needs to re think the way they serve their food.

Came here to celebrate a friend's 21st birthday with a very diverse crew. The staff was super friendly and helpful with our large party. The drinks are delicious and they are open late on Sundays. I really recommend this place if you're looking for something a little nicer, a little more upscale while staying within East Brunswick. It comes at a cost, but you might find that cost to be quite worth it if you want better food and beverages...especially late on a Sunday night.

Typical bar food, not high quality but gets you to the fullness u want. Service was good. Food tastes a bit microwaved but it’s a bar.

We had the Best time! Our server Taylor was awesome! The bartenders were so great about making our special Birthday celebration drinks. We had the Trio Dips & Chips and the Spinach and artichoke dip, both were great choices. We will definitely be back soon!

My boyfriend and I dined here on Monday, Jan 9th, late afternoon. We had the best experience. Our waitress, Brooklyn (Angela), was hands down the best waitress we have ever had. She was so friendly and personable, helping us choose the best options. She was very passionate about her job and life in general. Not to mention the food was delicious as well! We will definitely be back and asking for her!

We got here at 12, the place is pretty empty. Took 10 mins for a waiter to take our drinks. An hour later, we were still waiting for our food. There is only 4-5 tables at the entire place. Waiter is not friendly and slow. Walking out one burger at a time. Don’t waste your time!

Amazing atmosphere, my husband and I were very well received by a tall guy and a girl who speaks Spanish! I was delighted with the bar and the service, in addition to having good drinks and a wonderful burger. I will definitely come back more often

Bar Louie regularly provides a welcoming atmosphere and perhaps the best outdoor seating bar in the area. Every bartender and server I have interacted with was friendly, professional, and inviting. As a local, I have been here many times and I have consistently had a positive experience, particularly with the service staff. Due to how my off-work schedule aligns with theirs, I have had the most experience with (please pardon any spelling errors) Michelle, Jamie, Alan, Jack, Michelle (who helped me with my Spanish!) and more recently Annie who gave great wine recommendations and Jazz who was a fantastic server. I'm sure the rest of the team is great as well, I just haven't had the pleasure of meeting them yet. Thank you for being a consistently great place to come to for relaxation on my days off! Cheers 🍻

This was our first time, and the food and service exceeded our expectations. Our server Kayla was super sweet and attentive. We ordered the voodoo pasta and pepperoni pizza and they were delicious. The drinks were also great!

Suzy and Ed’s performance behind the bar today was exceptionally stellar! Ed’s nonchalant description of their ALL NEW tostada burger was absolutely mouth watering. He is always here right on top of things to make sure I know the happy hour specials. Who doesn’t appreciate that?!! And it delivered! Suzy’s Grand Lemon Drop was second only to her welcoming energetic personality! All in all a winner! As a frequent patron of Bar Louie, I would love to see Suzy get more time to shine behind the bar. As I will be there again in the near future.

Barbecue boneless wings with amazing house made ranch, must try the ranch! Cheese curds with marinara and ranch. One of the few spots open late and the kitchen is open all night too. Patio seating is also amazing when the temperature is right!

We arrived at about 7 pm and were told that there was a 25 minute wait for outdoor seating (tons of empty tables- so presumably due to lack of staffing) or 20 minute wait for the bar seating, but immediate seating available inside. As we were walking towards our table, out of nowhere, the General manager asked us if we preferred inside our outdoor seating. We advised him we preferred outdoor.. on such a beautiful night. He immediately sat us outside and we had great service from our waitress who was also training another waitress. The food and drink were also great that evening.

I love the ambiance and service, the latter being very polite and friendly. Great TV screens to watch a game and comfortable booths for seating. Yet, the main attraction, food, is nothing to write home about. Yes, it's bar food, but half the orders were cold, the other half were greased over the top. Your best bet is to just come here for the drinks.
