First timer here . Saw many locally brewed beers. Tried a couple today and didn’t like the berry peachy sour . Couldn’t do a taste and buy . The other one was awesome..- the old school IPA. Super duper. Counts taste food today though. They have growler bottles and also allow other growler bottles.. very good customer service .. Parking is a main problem here. Tough to get parking in peak hours .. overall a good experience ...

Unique open window restaurant on the north end of the closed off George St.  We dined outside. Our waiter was very personable.  We ordered their fish & chips.

Great beer selection. They have a beer-style for everyone. I ended up getting a flight of 4 ($10) of the various styles. Beer was cold and fresh. I also got the beef sandwich (~$16) which was really good...better than I expected. I've come to expect sub-par food from breweries...but this was pretty good. The service was great. Not only to me but all the guest as servers were constantly present, checking in on all customers. The only pain is the parking in the area. I had to circle around for about 20 minutes before finding a street spot. You may be able to park further out. if you don't mind the walk, or at a nearby garage. There are a bunch of other eating options is the area, so taking some time to explore before or after your brewery visit isn't a bad idea.

Came here with a larger party of 11 for my friends birthday. We sat outside and the vibes were pretty good! Service was okay, a little slow, especially with receiving the bill, but understandable because we were a larger group. The food overall was okay. I surveyed the group and everyone had similar opinions on the food. We started with the pickle chips, the sauce was overpowering. I got a french onion soup, which wasn’t my favorite french onion, but wasn’t the worst. A lot of us got sandwiches/wraps. I got the chicken sandwich, but meant to get the crispy chicken sandwich, so that was a bit disappointing. Food was a bit pricey for what it was.

This brewery is amazing, from the waiters to the management staff. My family and I had dinner here, and it was more than we expected. Sam the head honcho was more than impressive. As a Socal millennial, this bar is far better than any on the West coast. Sam is amazing. Our waiter Daniel was so kind, understanding, and attentive. If you want a great NYE celebration NYC style without the NYC troubles. Harvest Moon Brewery has it.

We came here after being gaslighted at Old Man Raffertys and never given a seat and man was it the right choice. Seated instantly and the nachos were spot on, the French Onion soup was one of the best I've ever had, and the Chicken Schnitzel with that lemon sauce was beyond excellent. I would come back here and order exactly the same meal and be extremely happy. It's rare for me not to change a single thing about our food experience. The only thing I would change is to sit downstairs where the live music is instead of upstairs where it's basically quiet, but we had our 3 year old with us this time so it worked out. They were also accommodating to get allergies. 5 stars!

Great atmosphere and really nice servers. We got the empanadas and gluten free marg pizza to share - empanadas were absolutely delicious, pizza was decent. The fish & chips and gluten free chicken sandwich were both good; the tres locos tacos unfortunately fell apart after one bite. Just watch where you sit though, we got seated in a corner and the floor was super sticky. Totally fine, its a bar after all, but wish it was a little cleaner during the day

I hate doing this but I hate not being honest. The vibe was interesting, it was a very small place and they tried to squish people in. Its really cute inside and the decor is very quaint and pretty. As for the food and beer. The list of food was excellent however the taste wasn't as delectable as expected. The beer was flat. There was no head/foam to my draft beer and when I asked the waitress why. She really didn't have a good answer. I'd like to say it was just my beer, the honey blonde, but it was the same for the cider beer as well, which came in a can. That was also flat or "skunked". I wasn't impressed with the taste either. As for the food. We ordered the moon nachos and the adult cheese or courds. We laughed at how tiny they actually were and how little the amount of nachos we received. It definitely isn't enough for 4 people maybe still not enough for two. The soup and salad was a decent size portion but when I started sipping or shall I say, chewing on my tomato and basil soup, I realized it was more of a chicken w tomato paste. It was alright, I wasn't wowed and for an hour drive. I won't be returning. I'm sure there's better options. Again the atmosphere was cool. Had a good vibe ish, the wait staff was nice and kept asking if we needed anything. The prices were a bit high for small portions too. $144 for four people. Meh.

I have only gone here once or twice,my many years in this region, simply for the brewery and was never disappointed. Today i went for dinner and i felt cheated that i have never eaten here before. The skirt steak Sandwich was amazing and the salad it came with was a great pairing. When shown the dessert menu i wasn't inspired, but i asked the server what her favorite was and took a chance and was blown away by the best dessert I have had in a while. All in all an amazing dinner and i will definitely be going more often because i slept on this, but not anymore!

WARNING. The owners and managerial staff here are disgraceful to the food industry. They treat people as if customers aren’t necessary for a successful business. Lack of respect, not helpful, rude, and arrogant. Not to mention, the food here is below subpar; I have no idea how they are still open. If you want to hit up a good Pub in New Brunswick head to college Ave. This place needs a revamp or new ownership. Would give it 0 stars if possible… PART TWO: It seems the manager who I gave a lesson to about business etiquette felt the need to bring attention to a negative review. It seems he has taken the reality of their poor attitude to heart and feels the need to make lies about what occurred. As a customer I was told to leave without an offer to order something. The table I sat on is in the middle of George street (outside) in New Brunswick’s business district. After they threatened me to leave, although I offered to order from them, I moved to the seating area in front of the adjacent restaurant with NO ISSUES. Clearly they need a lesson on respect. I tried the food once here since I work nearby and never felt the need to go back. Sad sad leadership…

Stopped in during solo work travel and overall decent experience. Sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and attentive. Beers are pretty solid, not many selections but what they have tastes fresh. Food is just ok and the menu is mostly standard bar fare, which is why it's only a 4-star review.

The best beer in NJ hands down. The food is always fresh and the staff is super friendly and accommodating. Sam is committed to making sure your experience there is nothing short of amazing. I will continue to visit this restaurant whenever I’m in NJ. I was there a couple days ago for a friends 40th and Andrew, Mina, Steven and the rest of the staff made the night memorable to say the least. Their upstairs space is perfect for an event and newly renovated.

2/25/2023 since I first posted this we have been back a few times and I have to say the staff is unbelievable. The assistant manager (whose name I regret not getting this evening), is above and beyond one of the best in the business I have ever seen. This place is a well oiled machine and I think a lot of it has to do with that young man and Steve the manager. I’m not sure I have been to a location with such kind, considerate, and professional people who care about providing good service consistently as much as they do. If you want to have a special evening somewhere, this is your place. 12/2022: We were there last night because my boyfriend Kyle Benjamen was playing acoustic sets for their live music. We both used to work in bar/restaurants and really appreciate a well run establishment. The atmosphere is great, really good drinks (tons of options). The manager Steve was incredible with guests and staff and very present. Riley (not sure how she spells her name) had her hands full and was handling it very well. She knew just when to check in with someone and was very sweet and helpful. We will very likely be back for a few meals or a fun date night in the future.

I wanted a juicy burger, but the Guinness burger was one of the driest burgers I've had. Didn't help that it was $20. Menu prices were incorrect and we were surprised by a higher than expected bill. Sweet potato fries were good. Beer is great. But bad food sinks this place for me personally. Plenty of spots that have good food AND good beer.

You can do much better for the price on George street. It’s average food quality. Had pad Thai and margarita pizza, the pizza only had cheese and was undercooked and so oily. Drinks were good though. They also sat us next to a large group with 5-6 small kids and obnoxiously loud parents. Why would you place other parties next to kids when half your restaurant is empty.

Came in grabbed a cocktail. The bartender and manager made great recommendations. The fig bourbon Manhattan was delicious. They have specials and have private events. A must visit if you have the opportunity.

If you need to host an event, Harvest Moon is the place to do it! I hosted an alumni networking event here and Harvest Moon was nothing short of fabulous. We opted for the open wine + beer bar with assorted appetizers option, and the food was plentiful and delicious. Neil was super communicative in the planning process and ensured all our questions were answered. Throughout the night, the staff was very receptive, kind, and accommodating (we had a few older people in our party with sensitive ears, and they were so quick to turn the volume down). Overall, I highly recommend Harvest Moon for your next event or for a casual drink. Thank you to the staff for a great night!
