Visited this place with my boyfriend after a long week from working hoping to have a couple of drinks and food. As soon as we walked in the energy was off. Did not at all feel welcomed like what we read from the reviews online. Felt the owner staring at us While we were looking at the menu then heard him mutter to some guys at the bar “should I or shouldn’t I?” Already tensed up because I knew something ridiculous was going to come out of his mouth. Accused us of smelling like pot, my boyfriend smokes cigarettes . We already know what the real problem was. As we are an interracial couple. Owner then proceeds to tell us to leave. We get up and walk out. But as we are walking out someone mentions it might have been them that smelled of pot. You can hear the owner saying “oh, that was you?” But not once does call out and apologize for wrongly accusing us. That right there lets us know that was really never the issue. Thank you for not letting us make the mistake of spending our hard earned money in your establishment. God Bless

Great locals pub. Pete the owner makes one of the best bacon cheeseburger ever. The beer is good. The ambiance is down to earth. Covid friendly. Clean men's room.

I love this place because the owner does not put up with people who over indulge in alcohol, etc. This is a neighborhood gem. If you are looking for a place with drink menus or fancy recommendations I would suggest the Peach and the Cloud in New Brunswick.

This place is a hidden treasure! The burger was exquisite, the beer cold, and the vibe chill and unpretentious. I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Came here with my girlfriend, I wouldn't say it was exactly welcoming at first. It's a local old school type of bar. Well know in the neighborhood. They do sell food but like any local bar that does you have to catch them at the moment everyone is ordering because its literally one person behind the bar. Prices are good and if you want to chat over some games and a drink this is the spot. Reminds me of the Alibi from shameless.

Pete and his bartenders are amazing people! One of my favorite places to relax, have a good conversation and disconnect! Nice cold beers always and the atmosphere is great! Did I mention the best BLT sandwiches ever!!! ❤️🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Beware of this place. The owner has obvious discrimination against Asian. I came here with my friend for the first time because of its good rating on Google Map. We tried to order something but was told by the owner that there was no menu. We asked if he would recommend anything but was refused. We then asked what drink he could offer but he didn't want to say anything. Not sure what's wrong with this guy but he certainly didn't want to do business with us. Never have we experienced anything like this and we left immediately.
