This place hasn't changed in 30 years. It needs some serious TLC that being said there are some gems. It has its charms but could use some funding. Reserve about an hour for this visit

I enjoyed the museum. There were many exhibits on view displaying natural history (dinosaurs), minerals and Ancient Egyptian artifacts.

Free! There's a surprising amount of stuff packed in there. My 1.5 year old had fun with the big ferromagnetic rock :) I'll definitely take her back regularly. We didn't have time to stay long, so we haven't been upstairs. The main level has some very cool fossils and lots of pretty rocks! Our favorite display was the one showing how various minerals were used, although Mother and Child had different reasons ;) my daughter loved the bag of cat litter in there...

Nice little collection. Free entry and no one else was there except for a few students. Entry was free you just had to sign in. It was clearly underfunded though and made you wish they put more into this and less into the art gallery.

Definitely a great place for group trips, the staff had everything very organized. Finding the place was a pain, as was parking. Just make sure you look up what the outside looks like as well as places to park before going and you'll be good.

Not a bad place. Exhibits are a bit lackluster, but it has its highlights like the mastodon skeleton and the platypus.
