Located at the South Shore of Staten Island , this spacious park has been renovated and cleaned up nicely. A pavilion has been added for summertime concerts . A ideal place for a picnic , jog or dog walking . Playground on site for kids and also a visitors center detailing the history of the Conference House

It was fun overall. Back in October, I saw a few deer but today I saw some turkeys. Everybody here is white, american and republican, like from the good old times.

Visited on a lovely summer afternoon. Took a tour of the Conference House with a knowledgeable guide ($5 a person). The place is full of history. Well maintained and fascinating. The park is large, and right by the water. Bathroom facilities and a great place to walk your dog.

After months of the 2020 Pandemic quarantine, a serene break at Staten Islands Conference house park. Newly renovated pier on the most southern tip of New York State.

I bring families here often for doing photography. It's a great place for that, offering many different locations all in one place. You can do beach, waterfront, park, grass (with stone benches), and the house itself which is aesthetically great.

You can skip this place. Nothing special. A neat silent park.

Nice park, with a nice view on the pier, unfortunately the pier was graffitied by people and kind of ruins the mood but still a nice place to walk around.

This was my first visit to The Conference House. Along with interesting historical value, the park itself is a nice getaway. With a small garden, a large field, trails and a deck overlooking the local marina and a small beach, there is plenty to do for everyone. It's very peaceful and quiet.

The covered area at the water's edge can get very cold as there is no natural wind block.. However, beautiful views. I saw an otter... My first one seen on Staten Island. Do note.. some of the gravel trails (hard packed and without the little reveens would be passable. I visited in Oct 2022) are eroded and make it unsafe to use a folding motorized wheelchair. I so wanted to see the Safras tree.

The Conference House Park is great overall! The trails are sort of hard to follow and are kind of weird in terms of scenery, but still enjoyable. The best part of the park is the main area used for sports/picnicking/the pier etc. The new pier is beautiful and the ocean views are so nice.

Look up the Staten Island Peace Conference which happened on September 11, 1776. The house and the grounds are enjoyable.

There is a new pier at the end of Hylan Boulevard you take the road down to as a water and there it is. It's lovely down there at night this lights during the day it's wide open so you could bring chairs if you want to sit and you're right by the beach to beaches down below and the sound of the water and you looking at Perth Amboy in Jersey. Absolutely lovely
