Very large with the usual large/small dog separation. It can get muddy so be careful. Probably need a better ground cover

Great local spot for a romp! I started bringing my 6 month pup here about a month ago & now it’s one of his favorite places in the world! My work schedule allows for us to go regularly on weekdays in the early afternoon, which has been awesome for training because there are usually only a few other dogs around (sometimes none!). We spend our time in the large dog area nowadays but ATTN: SMALL DOG OWNERS! This dog park’s small dog community is fantastic! Lots of cute little fluffy guys playing with each other haha I haven’t had the chance to bring my 5 year old (10lb toy poodle mix) because she hates the car, but we’ll be making that trip soon. TL;DR Clean park. Good people. Cute dogs. Five stars.

Big area split into two parks, one for small dogs and other for big. There's water available. Lots of space for dogs to run. All dogs seem to be friendly. I did see a lot of BIG dogs. German Shepherds, Great Danes etc.

Great park... very friendly crowd, separate small dog section. Been there a handful of times and never had a problem.

It's a really nice dog park, that I bring my dog to often. Its split into a small (less than 25 lbs) and big (more than 25 lbs) dog areas. Out of the many times I went there, only 1 dog was really annoying, and the people are always very friendly.

PLEASE PLEASE BEWARE ITS NOT SAFE!!!!!!!!! FIND A DIFFERENT DOG PARK! THIS IS A CANCER SITE!!! I also saw a review talking about how there were a couple cases in that area. TOXIC WATER .. I’m cautious of what my dog consumes and I don’t want her drinking that nasty water full of TOXIC CHEMICALS !!! IM NEVER BRINGING MY DOG HERE!!!!! THEY DONT CARE ABOUT OUR DOGS!! HISTORY: The Chemical Insecticide Corporation Superfund was here from 1954 to 1970. The facility’s operations and waste handling practices led to extensive soil, sediment and groundwater contamination. Cleanup activities included controlling contaminated runoff, addressing soil and sediment in off-site creek areas, and cleaning up soil, surface water and groundwater. Cleanup finished in 2005. Long-term groundwater monitoring is ongoing. Edison Township purchased the site property in 2008. The Metuchen-Edison Community Dog Park is located on site. The park opened to the public in June 2016. Groundwater monitoring has indicated that contaminants of concern such as metals, pesticides, herbicides, semi volatile organic compounds, and to a lesser extent, volatile organic compounds remain within the site-related plume.

Please speak up if you see big dogs in the small dog area. My yorkie and I both got attacked by two different big dogs the other day. And my yorkie has been in pain since. I ended up having to take him to the emergency vet clinic where they found that his neck and back pain stemmed from this dog attack that happened at this park. I regret not saying something and not taking down the owners info. I will never take my dogs to this park or any other dog park again, because of this traumatic experience. Do yourselves a favor and SAY SOMETHING if you see that big dogs are in the small dog area. Those owners need to be held accountable for their carelessness.

Great dog park! Very large spaces for both small and big dogs. Some climbing options, a tunnel, seating for owners, water hoses. It’s mostly grass and some dirt. We like this park much more than our local one, which primarily has wood chips and some concrete that they can file their nails down on. Despite the photo, our dog usually doesn’t leave this park too filthy! Haha

(+)Big (+)has agility obstacles. (+) has clearly marked large, and small, dog sections (-) Poorly maintained. (-)Communally, attendees refill the poop bags with what they have on hand, because the town does not. (-)Gate latches are broken and finicky (-)Garbage is not collected often enough, and sometimes overflows. (-)I dont think anyone (besides the immediately responsible owners) is picking up the poo. (-)The water fountain there does not work correctly (+)There's lots of tennis balls and water bowls to partake in

No doggy bags in holders. Too many just taking them for personal use. Too many dogs assaulted by owners not in control of there dogs.

Great place to bring your dog. Very spacious and clean. Could add more seating areas.

Nice park with a rainbow of dog types. Dog owners are generally watching their dogs for their good behavior but some are not thus dominant and possession based dogs can cause problems. Dog bags to pick up are important to keep the place clean. If not, provide poop scoopers to help.

Nice and roomy... lots of dogs of all sizes to play with. Most of the time great, attentive and responsible owners. Our dog had immense fun running free.

My loss loves it and it's a good time for her to socialize with others and same for me. There are two sections big and small dog. I took her to small dog since she is a mini pincher..

Great park. Very large with obstacles on both the big and small dog sides of the park.

Great dog park. Place is huge so there's lots of room for dogs to have space. Even outside of the actual fenced area there's a lot of space to help train dogs who have leash anxiety. Water fountains are available and there is a playground nearby for kids. Definitely one of the best dog parks in the area.

Local park for us. Great open and closed space for any level of training. Lyla has been coming here for 2 months. There is a group of locals that come to socialize their dogs. It takes patience but Lyla has learned to socialize with other dogs, be less reactive to bigger dogs, and use the training stations to develop confidence and obedience. Most people are respectful with their dogs. But just like anything you have to know your dog and watch them interact. Not everyone picks up after their dog but it takes a community so if you see something, say something :). Hope whoever comes has a great time.
