A nice quiet place to walk and breathe some fresh air. The ponds are pretty and you'll always see someone fishing or just relaxing there. Nice to see the horses there as well. Pay attention as you walk! You'll spot squirrels, chipmunks, many types of birds, deer, fox...you never know what you'll see. The dog park is an added bonus either for letting your dog run and socialize either before or after your walk. This is a hidden gem.

The trails and lakefront beach views here are definitely a hidden gem. This park also has an archery range, but note that you'll need to bring bits, arrows, and a target with you. You'll need to drive, but this is not far from the hot dog stand on Bordentown Ave. Horse riding is also an option at this park.

My wife and I like to come here to watch the dogs in the dog park. I can't comment about the rest of the facility. The dog park has separate area for both large and small dogs. Unlike some dog parks, this facility has an "air lock", for lack of a better term, to reduce the chance of a dog escaping; you go through an outer gate, close it behind you, walk 10 feet or so to the inner gate, then go through that. The downside is that the dirt road into the area is terrible, and filled with potholes. It's a nice facility, except for the road...

Do not come here to fish unless you are a resident of Sayreville, If you are will need a special permit to fish here There are signs everywhere saying this when you pull up along with strict fines if you don't comply It would of been nice if Sayreville had this posted on their website so I didn't waste 30min driving there!

Went for the archery range. Definitely bring your own target. Foam is everywhere but for the most part it's good. Gets the job done. Went after it rained so no one was there Not sure how crowded it gets . 4 lanes - 10,20,30 and 40 yards

You can't walk around the entire lakes anymore, they have put up gates in numerous areas. As far as fishing goes it can be really good at times, however you can't (legally) get to a lot of the areas to fish anymore.

Horse riding on trail! Small preserve saved from becoming another golf course by environmentalist. I would not enter the pond water due to the latest flesh-eating outbreak!

Do not come here unless you’d like to bottom out or pop a tire on your car. Parking lot only suitable for trucks. Only gave two stars because nature is the only redeeming factor. Also neighboring some of the saddest horses you’ll see (at Legacy Stables).

An amazing place to walk in and take a deep nature breather, having a horse ride and range services there is a huge plus.
