It is a good place for Indian food. They serve both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Seating space is good. Birthday 🎂🎉 party and other events can also be organized here. Staff is nice. Taste wise also this restaurant is good. They have lunch buffets between 11:30am to 2:30pm. It includes starters ( Samosas, Pakodas, Chilli Paneer etc), Main course ( Various Naans, Rice, Dal makhni, Paneer and other non-vegetarian dishes). They also have gol-gapps and desserts. It’s funny that almost all one star reviews here are by Indians with extremely high expectations. I made it in time for the dinner buffet during a pit stop on a road trip and found the food quite good. Lots of variety and all-you-can-eat options, reminiscent of a roadside dhaba. Meats were more chewy than tender and but curries were great. Worth it for the buffet.

I recently visited Bollywood Tadka with high hopes of indulging in a delicious buffet experience. Unfortunately, my dining experience left me thoroughly disappointed, particularly with the quality of the food. It felt as though the dishes had been prepared a day or two in advance, resulting in a stale and lackluster taste throughout. One of the most perplexing aspects of the buffet was the sheer quantity of food on offer. While the variety was impressive, it became clear that the focus was on quantity rather than quality. It was disheartening to see such a wide range of dishes that failed to meet our expectations. It seemed as though the kitchen had prioritized serving a large quantity of mediocre food instead of providing a smaller selection of exceptional dishes. The taste of the food was a major letdown. The flavors lacked freshness and vibrancy, and the textures were inconsistent. It was evident that the dishes had not been prepared with care and attention to detail. From the appetizers to the main courses, nothing stood out as exceptional or memorable. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the rich and diverse flavors that Bollywood cuisine is known for. Considering the disappointing quality of the food, it's hard to understand why Bollywood Tadka would focus so heavily on quantity. It would have been far better to offer a more limited selection of dishes, ensuring that each one was prepared with utmost care and freshness. This would have allowed the kitchen to deliver a more enjoyable and satisfying dining experience for their patrons. Regrettably, my dining companions and I will not be returning to Bollywood Tadka. We were hoping for a delightful culinary journey, but instead, we encountered lackluster flavors and subpar quality. It's important for any restaurant, especially one specializing in a cuisine as beloved as Bollywood, to prioritize quality over quantity to maintain customer satisfaction. I sincerely hope that Bollywood Tadka takes this feedback constructively and strives to improve the quality of their offerings. There is immense potential for this restaurant to provide a memorable dining experience, but it will require a renewed focus on elevating their food to match the expectations of their customers.

I am disappointed. We went with a hungry stomach with a hope to have a sumptuous North Indian dinner. In the end, only that hunger helped me navigate what could be called an below average experience. Ordered: Tandoori chicken, the flavour wasn't rich and oil was plenty Seekh kabab is the best of the lot Naan was oily and doughy Biryani was decent Madrasi Chicken and Patiala chicken curries were subpar 3 starts for the courtesy and ambience.

Stopped in for dinner just off the njtpk on rte18 on our way home from a long weekend. We shared vegetarian appetizer platter(samosas, 3 kinds of batter fried veggies), Vegetable thali combo (paneer, sag, rice, nann, tomato soup, etc.), and the Tandoor combo (shrimp, 3 kinds of chicken and ground lamb kabobs, and naan). Everything was amazing. The staff were very inviting and attentive. The decor is an interesting expecting mix but cheerful, bright, clean and comfortable. The veggies and flavors were fresh.All types of meats were tender, which is sometimes a challenge at other restaurants. Flavors and spices varied with each dish, with was also a pleasant surprise. Prices were incredibly reasonable for North Jersey, our total dinner bill bill+20%tip for 2 was less than $50. We of course had ordered way too much and too home leftovers. Haven't tried the buffet as it was not open at dinner, but there appears to be quite a spread by the setup ready for the next day.

I would not be able to rate any star to this restaurant. I have tried biryani all across the USA and this is the worst one I ever had in my life. Attaching the picture, my kids never touched it and biryani is the only dish they love so much. I never had given review in my whole life as I find it little extra work and multiple times I retracted and compromised with the taste, never complained about the restaurant. This time I could not hold myself and neither compromise with the food; as the biryani was literally sweet and mixed with too much raisins. I have ordered via Uber eats and specific instructions were given to keep the dish medium spicy. I called up the restaurant and I was told by the person on phone that whatever you want to do, do it , it’s your liberty. I ordered 3 biryanis and none were consumed full (two unopened). This is the first ever time I have lwalked away in the middle of eating my food. To the restaurant management, I would like to have a refund and even good to bring back the unopened packages to your restaurant. I don’t know if this is one of the outliers, if so that’s fine but my experience irrespective of that was awful and horrible!! All coming from my heart since I am a foodie and sleeping hungry today!!

Owners were super kind and nice, they offered us desert on the house as well a few treats complimentary and the staff took care of us well. The food too was delicious and had a lot of variety and spice, I enjoyed the paratha and rice. The prices match the portions given I might as well be set for breakfast! ⛔️ We ordered some food from them for the first time. There dal makhni had a funny smell which usually comes when when it’s stale, after tasting it had that tangy taste. Food was ordered at 8pm and the food showed on app was ready at 8:50, I was under impression it might be good as weekend are busy and there must lot of ppl ordering from this place. The food delivered was cold, naan and roti were one of the worst I ever had. Roti was chewy and hard. WARNING ⚠️

Lunch buffet at just around $15/ person, you can't go wrong. Staff are friendly and service is great. We were the first to arrive on a weekday so it was great to have the whole restaurant to ourselves. Almost all the dishes were out and after the first plate, the remainder were brought out. The waiter was nice enough to bring us some garlic Naan since there weren't any during our first round. Everything was fresh and tasted great. My favorite was the Tikka masala as it was creamy and paired well with the rice. It also made a a great dipping sauce for the Naan. The mixed vegetables were also quite tasty. Other items were curry chicken, chicken tandoori, Chick pea medley just to name a few. Overall, would revisit again and would recommend. Place is clean and tidy so you can't go wrong.

This takes the cake for the best Indian lunch buffets I've ever been to. First of all, the selection is so diverse. They have literally everything you can think of, ranging from vegetable pakora, chili chicken, to gulab jamun. Everything I tried was amazing, especially the chili chicken! Moreover, their service was great, despite the fact it was a lunch buffet. They explained what each dish was when we were curious and one of the servers even came up to our table and served us fresh garlic nann. I can't wait to come back here!

I recently visited this restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. The food was average, and it lacked the authentic flavors that one expects from any indian restaurant. I tried the biryani, and while it wasn't terrible, it wasn't great either. The rice was wet and over cooked, Chicken is not that tender and the flavors were lacking. Portion size was decent, but the taste didn't quite hit the mark. It wasn't the worst biryani I've had, but it also didn't stand out as anything special. Butter and garlic Naans are soft and well done. Sizzlers are just good. Chicken tikka masala was quite ok. Overall the food could’ve been better. The ambiance was also underwhelming, and the decor felt outdated. The waitstaff was attentive and checked on me frequently without being overbearing. They were very kind and generous. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant, as there are much better options available in the area.

This is the place to come for a fantastic lunch. Unbeatable for the price for sure, and so many great options, and the garlic naan is ridiculous. I don't always know what is in every dish but they are all delicious!! Very kind owners too. They take good care of us. Highly recommend whether you've had indian food before or not. Worth trying as it is some of the most flavorful food out there!

This is the most disgusting food ive ever had. The dahi had a FUNKY smell to it and it tasted old. The malai kofta was gross. Wouldnt even rate it 1 star if i had to. What a waste. 🤮🤢

This place never disappoints in food, service and atmosphere. During dinner it's SUPER busy and that says a lot! My family and I drive an hour to get to this place and it's definitely worth the drive. We get extra to have for breakfast the next morning🤗😋🤤 They have a wonderful menu for everyone. Vegetarian and meat and kid- friendly.

Went here a few months ago for lunch and I loved it. For the lunch price-$15- you get an all you can eat Indian buffet. The food isn't amazing, but the price and variety of pretty great dishes far outweighs having one "amazing" dish. The staff was very friendly and the place, although not my style, was clean. I highly recommend that people come here if you want to fill up for cheap!

Came to Bollywood Tadka looking to replace our go-to Indian spot after moving into the area. I came in with no expectations other than the good reviews I read online, and left with our new home for Indian cuisine! The staff were very nice and courteous, which is always a great thing to experience. The food was amazing, starting from the appetizers (vegetable samosas and pani puri), to the main entrees (chicken curry and tikka masala). The food was fresh, delicious, and really was the prime definition of comfort food. They even offered us fruit custard on the house which was amazing and turned into our favorite dessert. If you are in the area or just passing by, do not miss the opportunity to have your taste buds blown away!

As I walk out of bollywood tadka after a meal I can't help but reflect on how I almost missed coming here. An undervalued gem. The food delicious. The service friendly and the ambience relaxing. We truly had one of our very best meal as a family today. Will return always!

Went here about 4-5 years ago. Don't remember why I forgot about this place. We started going again several weeks and love the lunch buffet (available on weekdays and weekends)! Great variety of food - both spicy and non-spicy (for my wife), also several choices of meat and vegetables with various curries. Planning on coming every week! Great service as well - food is kept well-stocked even with a full house today.

This place has amazing food. There is warmth and pleasantness in their service. We had Amritsari Fish and tawa fry fish which were just super tasty! Their Alu Gobi and chili panner that we ordered were finger licking good. I also noticed that their Dal Makhani was very much like home made, not too much cream and yet very tasty. Had a great fun time with my family at this restaurant.

One of the most solid Indian lunch buffets in the area, with a buffet every day! Better than some of the ones in Edison too. I go to lunch buffet for the value and ability to try everything! The staff here is always so welcoming and friendly. They encourage you to try every single dish and they are all great. I love the butter paneer and their gobi Manchurian is so good!

Normally I don’t give review, but the way they treated today is merely exceptional. Recently we visited this restaurant in East Brunswick for dinner, food & service is excellent.
