A friend of mine recommended Veganized to me, and I'm so glad she did! The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was excellent. The restaurant is small, but it's cozy and inviting and it’s expands over three floors. The staff was friendly and attentive, and they were happy to answer any questions I had about the menu. Best part was the presentation of food. Do try their falafel , BBQ skewers made out of Tempe , Tex max. If you are looking to try appetizer Smoked passion fruit was really good.

Our family has a mix of dietary preferences (omnivore, vegetarian, vegan); however, we all love this vegan restaurant. The food is tasty and beautifully presented. The servers are friendly and attentive. We have been here a few times and have never been disappointed (it’s mostly a special occasion place for us due to prices). Inside or out, the ambience is wonderful with colorful lamps and art. Save room for dessert!

Amazing vegan food! The quality of the food is far greater than the price in my opinion and I would recommend this place to vegans and non-vegans alike! The atmosphere is also great! I hope I get the chance to come visit again!

To be fair, I had to go twice to form an opinion.... the 1st time I ordered for lunch Off The Grill as a starter, and Mash N Gravy as an entre. The 1st one was burned, and the 2nd one tasted like too much salt and nothing else! The 2nd time, I came for dinner, and the food and service were incredible. If you're a mushroom lover, I highly recommend you order Hen of the Woods. I was very pleased with the eggplant's texture in the Deluxe Burger. The star of the show is that Karat cake; the sauce on top and at the bottom of that cake compliments everything so well. Parking sucks in that area, all the way to 3 blocks down. There is a paid garage up that street. If you can prove that you're an RN, you can get a discount.

First time going here and it was absolutely worth the trip to New Brunswick! The waiter was very attentive and detailed in taking our orders and answering any of other questions. I ordered the smoky passion drink which had mezcal, if you are a fan of mezcal, I highly recommend it. The mackin cheese dish was soo delicious and you would not think it is vegan. Will definitely be coming back here, all the items on the menu sound delicious! Lovely unique decor as well

*photos attached* I love the fact that they make their own cheese and how healthy their food is. I ordered one of their flatbreads with a side of fries for take out. So, I looked through some of the reviews and noticed that for some time there have been a lot of mention of the wait time. They told me 10-15 minutes, we left and came back and it still wasn’t done. We left again and came back and it still wasn’t done, left again, came back then it was finally ready. Both the fries and the flatbread came in 2 separate boxes, so for $22 and some change, I was expecting big portions. It was disappointing to see the amount of fries that was given…like come on, it just looked stingy. The flatbread was smaller than I thought. It needed a little bit more taste, but it was still fairly good and the ingredients are great. I think the boxes should match the portions…the food took longer than stated and when received, it didn’t match up with the price. No hard feelings, there’s always room for improvement with any person / establishment.

Wow. I’m vegan, and I have been eating at vegetarian and vegan restaurants for over 35 years, and Veganized has catapulted into my top three of all time. I’m hesitant to say number one or two just because… But since they are in New Jersey and I’m in New Jersey, they are number one for now. First off, they have a beautiful space and the staff is all smiles and warm greetings. The dining room has a charming vibe. It’s just lovely. The menu is modern and hip and has a wide variety of items that old-time vegans will be comfortable choosing from as well as some newer types of foods for those transitioning to vegan or just curious. I was offered a sample of the soup that convinced me that is what I wanted. And they strongly suggested the skewers, which I normally would not order as I generally don’t like “fake meat”, but I could tell the sever believed in it. So I ordered it and it was awesome. I’m not kidding when I say they did it perfectly! The grilled veggies were so perfectly done and retained the flavor - wow. Oh, the soup was delicious, but I forgot what it was. And I have learned that if a good vegan restaurant offers cheesecake and they seem to know what they are doing, by all means order it! (see photos) It was hands down the best vegan cheesecake I have ever had. Period. End of discussion. My only regret was that I didn’t order an extra slice to-go. The only drawback I experienced was I ordered rooibos tea and it was rooibos chai with spice and so forth. The menu didn’t say “chai” or “spiced” and I just wanted straight rooibos tea. But that’s minor and now I know and next time I’ll suggest they change the text of the menu. But all in all, I cannot recommend them enough. Simply outstanding. What a pleasure.

Came here on a recommendation, some of the best vegan food I've even tried. It was nice to see someone making vegan food who's not afraid of FLAVOR... everything was VERY well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I am very impressed with the establishment. The venue is very eclectic (see pictures for reference). We had the falafel wrap, the veggie wrap sweet potato wedges and the triple cooked french fries. The wrap was grilled, so it held together without being soggy or tearing when eating, wedges were seasoned and tasted like a baked sweet potato, triple cooked fries were just damn good, crispy on the outside and soft and delightful inside.

middlesex county is seemingly beginning to rub me the wrong way. I just left Veganized where I stood in the restaurant, literally at the counter with three employees behind the counter, who said nothing to me who did not ask if I need anything or if I was there to pick up an order they just went on about your business as if I was not standing there…mind you the restaurant currently has ZERO patrons inside. It was not until I had to rudely interrupt a conversation, and ask what I need to do in order to pick up an order I have placed online , that I was acknowledged. I even went as far as to record my point of view the entire time I stood there as proof that no one even attempted receive me in a professional or prompt manner as I assume any business in the restaurant industry would a guest. I came here because my wife likes their food. I will not be returning !!

Wow!!! I have been veganized!!! I was passing through New Brunswick on my way to Newark and decided to spend the night. Primarily because I spotted a vegan restaurant that would be open the following morning - a Sunday. Most of the reviews of this place did not do any justice to it, for as soon as I walked I realized that I wasn’t going to just get vegan food, I actually got an experience!!! Ron, the owner poured heart and soul for over a year to restore the place into a work of art and I appreciate every bit of it. The food was very healthy (mostly organic and prepared on site), but it was the ambiance that gave it its special flavor. I feel Ron is right, I did not just stumble by this place by accident, destiny brought me there and I will be back to experience it again. Hopefully some the pictures might do some justice to Ron and his team’s work.

I’m not a vegan, but I’m always open to all foods! My whole experience at Veganized was amazing! Food, drinks and desserts were good! My friend and I sat outside upstairs with a breeze! Staff was great! I will be back there this summer!

Lunch order on a weekday took almost 45 mins when barely 3-4 tables were occupied. 'Off the grill' mushrooms were charred and bitter, but I had little patience to wait again. The BBQ Skewers and rice were done well. Loved the ambience.

Im far from vegan, I love meat like most people ,but this place knew exactly how to make a non-vegan like me feel so comfortable. The server was incredible and had the best recommendations . I highly recommend this place to absolutely everyone ,vegan ,vegetarian or not. They have incredible food that anyone would love and the staff is so down to earth and friendly and make sure they make you feel like you are a regular customer . And if the incredible food and service was enough ,the place has a wrap around 2nd floor balcony where the tables are that makes you feel like you are in New Orleans.

Just had an amazing lunch here ! The restaurant was so unique and the food was SO good. The server Kylie got us started and was so warm and welcoming. Dan helped us out the rest of the time and his service and kindness was superb ! Can’t wait to get back and try out some of their cocktails & maybe even their brunch. 10/10 recommend !

Their vegan selection is ALL excellent, staff is friendly and the atmosphere gives good vibes. The only part they should step up on is their beer selection.

It was great to find such a healthy veg spot in Brunswick. Every item I've tried so far has been amazing... Their mixed drinks are also great and a reason alone to go there... Def will be coming back and recommending others!! Service and staff were very friendly and accommodating as well

Across from the Courthouse in New Brunswick. Cool atmosphere of an old Irish bar but converted to a vegan menu with interesting little figurines and ceramic animals as part of the decor. The vegan selection is varied and large. Service is great. Would definitely recommend one of the mushroom appetizers, the Mac & ‘cheese’ and my falafel wrap.

The food was absolutely delicious but the service was painfully slow. Went in for lunch and it took 1hr 40min from start to finish. Spending $102 before tip for 2 ppl, With only 2 other tables seated. Would give it another shot in hopes of better service because food was very good.

We were a group of ten who went to Veganized, so were able to try out a lot of dishes. And nothing disappointed us. None of us are vegan….so we were a bit apprehensive about the food. But to our surprise all items were tasty, flavor some and very well presented. Nachos, soup, flatbread, rawvioli, and grilled mushrooms for appetizers were very nice. Flaky Biscuit, fiesta bowl, salads, and deluxe burger in entrees were pretty good. The best were the desserts. We had Karat cake, Bananarama, and Rawberry shortcake. All three were awesome. Restaurant itself is very interesting with eclectic, quaint, and cozy feel. Good place to hang out with friends and enjoy some interesting and innovative food.

I stopped by today (Sat. 2/3/24) just for a simple coffee. Coffee tasted well and I had a nice conversation with head of house who was the owners brother. They have a great selection of items on the menu and the dessert options looked yummy! Staff are incredibly friendly and very welcoming.

Really glad I found this place. Good food and a super friendly staff. I had the mashed potatoes and Tempe which hit the spot. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Had dinner there in February 2024. The space and decor were very cool. Unfortunately, they were out of mushrooms and could not serve half the menu. Waitress did not tell us until we had pored over the menu for 15 minutes and tried to order. After we ordered one of the two types of beer they offered, they came back and told us they were out of beer. Took a long time to get drinks and service was pretty mediocre. The food we got was good and a lot of potential, but seems poorly run from an operational perspective.

Delicious! I'm not vegan but the food is tasty and creative. It really redefines vegan as each dish was complete and can stand on it's own. I went twice in a week while I was in the area for work. The watermelon cocktail was refreshing and beautifully presented. The staff was also really friendly and welcoming. Recommend and will return!

We were wowed by this restaurant. Everything was delicious. We shared the grilled oyster mushrooms (I could have eaten 10 plates), three entrees and two desserts and everything was great. Even the beer was yummy. As a non-vegan, I was surprised by the diversity and tastiness of everything we tried. The service was perfect—helpful, not intrusive, and even funny. I am definitely putting véganisme in my repeat list.

Absolutely fantastic experience. Food was delicious, server was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the menu, and the whole place has a welcoming and unique atmosphere. The Off the Grill mushroom app was particularly good. My parents, who are not vegan, both thoroughly enjoyed the food as well. We ate out on the patio, which I highly recommend for this time of year. I will definitely be back!

Delicious!!! Clean, organic, fresh...I could go on and on. We drove 3 hours to get to this place and will certainly be back. P.S. Immaculate vibes. Fast service! The place is so aesthetic the food is presented wonderfully and tastes just as good as it looks. It felt like every bite had several notes to it. Everything was absolutely delicious!!! Tisha and I got assistance from our waitress and another guy who works there figuring out what is the difference between sweet potatoes and yams. The guy Googled it and it turned out I was right; a sweet potato is a yam. Great environment for family and bathroom was nice and clean. I hope to visit again...
