The place has a very open and airy feel for a pub and that without losing it's pub charm. Yet, the food was far below pub quality, things came out cold and not as ordered, multiple times. The manager only took one of the ruined orders off the bill. And while we were walking out he, very childishly, told us to go and have fun at McDonald's. (?!) Wich I found a weird way to try and insult a customer. Haven't had McDonald's in years but I'm sure our experience would have been better than at the North Brunswick Pub.

Great pub with reasonable prices. Came here on a Friday night and it was packed. Kitchen stays open until around 1am. The I got the wings(I recommend the Pub Secret Sauce) and nachos and it was excellent. Drinks are also reasonably priced and fairly large. There was quite the crowd which was nice. Definitely a good vibe to have some drinks with friends and just hang out. I’d say the dress code is casual. Service was amazing, I had table service and even thought it was busy I felt attended and cared for!

Have been to this bar 6-7 years back and revisited again ! Wow .zz it stilll remains the same … fantastic atmosphere .. amidst all the new types of bars , this one still brings back the old times !!! Parking is a bit less but I got one right next to entrance . Great location .. right on Rt 1 …. I like the indoor look .. Service is a bit slow . Bar was packed and there was only one employee . Took a long time but once we ordered , the food came soon. Hope they can send additional employees to help in bar , during peak hours . Wings was a bit dry . It was ok. Not the best I have had . Lots of beer 🍺 options to go with . Overall I liked it , except for the slow service …

The reason I began posting to Google Maps was to use it to remind myself if I had been to a restaurant before and if I liked the food. North Brunswick Pub was one of those restaurants that my memories failed me. I used to visit the pub in the 90s and stopped after I moved from the area. I'd go with friends and seemed to remember the food was OK. Well, I was wrong. Monday's experience was the real reason I haven't been back in 20 years. I ordered Steak Nachos... if you made Nachos at home it would be better. This plate has the minimum of steak on the plate, look at the photos and count the pieces. The chips were soggy, there was no crunch. I stopped eating them and left half the plate. I asked for a "to go" container knowing I was throwing them away. I really don't know why I didn't leave them at the table. They went in the trash at the North Brunswick WAWA. The Pub Burger was just sad. The lettuce, tomato and onion looked as if it was plated Sunday morning, sadly it was placed on my burger Monday evening. The burger is possibly one of the worst I've eaten. Well, half eaten. I refuse to suffer through it and asked for my check. The waitress to the Pub Burger off of the bill, I didn't ask her to but I'm glad she did it. I tipped her well because of that service. I told my wife about the horrible food and she laughed at me telling me that my memory is horrible. She said that we stopped going to the North Brunswick Pub when we were dating in the early 2000s because the food sucked. I read the other reviews that said the food is good here. They are either friends of the owner and staff, paid reviewers or they are homeless people that usually eat out of trash cans. The Pub's food is definitely better than eating out of a trashcan. I wouldn't recommend it. Go to the Omega diner just down the road for a much better burger.

Whatever you do, DO NOT get the wings to go, you know that saying “Chicken taste like wood” well perfect example so dry nearly got a splinter from it. Then called for manager and was told these were freshly cooked, no they were more like cooked two or three times through the day. I never do reviews but this has to be the worst wings in the state. Sorry

Visiting from Arizona, a local Referred me here so I came Tuesday and was received warmly by patrons and staff. I even won bingo! Then I came Wednesday cuz I heard I have to try the wings and they were right and finally I came back Thursday and had potato skins. Best potato skins I’ve had in 2 decades. This was the first time I've been here in many years. Used to go to just drink, dance, and have laughs with friends. We went with another couple who were there before for dinner and drinks. The burgers were awesome and the prices are very very reasonable. We will be going back to try some different food items. They had some good music playing. Just a great place to hang and have some fun. We will be going back soon

It was somewhat ok. Went here for late night cocktails. Greeted by security when we arrived. The parking lot is pretty large. Smelled like a college party inside. Rude bouncers and bartenders. We sat at the bar and I had to clean the area because she didn't. There were empty bottles and glasses laid out all over the tables and bar areas.. I don't know why they wouldn't clean up even tho it was midnight. Will I come here again, probably since it's the only place really open in the area for a night cap.

Had our Xmas get together here. What a great atmosphere! Service excellent! Food was great. Great place to unwind and chill.

Classic pub. Enough tvs. Dart boards. Always people there but not over crowded. Good food, never any issues, and friendly staff. Johnny is the man over there and everything in that place has been very reliable, clean, quality.

We went for daddy-daughter dinner night and shared an order of wings. They were great! Huge, meaty, wings. Surprisingly good selection of sauces too!

I am from north jersey and i came to this place twice. It alot of fun and the servers/bartenders are amazing but i have problem with the manager. She is rude to people who work there and doesn’t respect them at all. I wish she wasn’t manager and they found someone whol is more capable of job.

Definitely a locals pub. Service was disappointing for a traveling business man. Ordered a bourbon, water back, twice both were empty with no bartender in site. Ordered food, fried pickles were good. Buffalo Quesadilla was salty! Music/atmosphere was good.

Great spot to meet up with friends to watch sports. Personal TVs at booths so no seat is out of view from the action. Typical bar food and a little old fashioned but a good choice in the area.

I love this place and I have a tradition, to go to this pub with my old college friends every 1st of July. And every year this pub makes better and better. I really love the atmosphere there. It looks that staff has a passion for their work. Also, they are polite and behave friendly.

I have visited this establishment on numerous occasions and my favorite part about it is its deceiving size. The parking lot is spacious and offers parking for a good number of patrons. My only issue with it being that it is located literally right before a bridge and therefore easy to miss. Inside there are two bar locations, space for an in-house DJ, and two small bathrooms located in the main room. I find the atmosphere to be buzzing with activity and ideal for a large sporting event or birthday party. If you are looking for a chill spot, I highly recommend.

Brianna is the best waitress ever! Kudos to her for excellent service and customer care. Also the chicken avocado wrap was on point and the sweet potato ff for real; made my day.

Love love love NB pub! Great drinks great servers and bartenders and the energy is unmatched. Whenever I want to watch a game and grab a drink with my co workers I recommend North Brunswick.

Bruce your ruining your business by running a happy hour scam and offering half price wing then cutting the amout of the order also and not stating that on your menu. You need money that bad you short your customers? Menu says 8 bone in wings but you serve 6 and nowhere does it state that on your menu. Cheap move! Update after they replied and admitted they scam customers for “years”……kitchen tough guy!! Scammers and your drinks are like water!

Stopped in for lunch while in for a hockey tournament. Food was really good, service was great and it is exactly what you want to in a local pub. Would definitely come back.

Let me first say that I love this place .. But I have to say that "some" of that staff shouldn't tend bar anywhere... On the planet..I asked for a rum and coke on a rocks glass...I was presented with either a shot glass or a pilsner...3 ounces of total drink..... Remember I like this place... Well except "some"if the bar staff.... Get real rocks glasses... No pictures allowed so just imagine a fool bringing you a shot glass as if it was ok to be a rum and diet Coke

Perfect place to grab drinks and some appetizers with friends. If you want to get some quick drinks - this is the place. Very budget friendly and ambience is perfect for the “next door” pub in this area. Highly recommended. Don’t expect too high quality food but you will certainly get what you pay for in terms of food.
