I was infuriated by the complete ignorance of the Manager/Doorman. I gave him my valid Puerto Rico License he looked and said I need a license from the United States or a Passport & denied my entry. I then followed to show him a picture of my valid New Jersey Drivers license with my Veterans stamp & was told when I physically have my NJ license in hand he would let me in. Puerto Rico has been part of the United States since 1917. I served My Country in the United States Army to be Discriminated against! I don’t need a passport & only my Puerto Rico drivers license for anything in the 🇺🇸 United States! I’m also making a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. P.S. I’m 39 years old

Just went bar hopping all over New Brunswick and this is by far the best college bar now in the Rutgers New Brunswick area they have the best drink specials the music was on point and just had awesome time over all made our night didn’t have to wait on lines that was a block long compared to the other popular spots I really like the breathalyzer vending machine

Was invited guest for Kelsey Grammer's meet and greet. He was there to promote his Faith American Ale. Had a mug and enjoyed it. Not to heavy or bitter. In my 44 years around Rutgers and New Brunswick was never in Hueys Knight Club. Friendly staff and good service. Apparently a hot spot for the college crowd. Wish I was 40 years younger!

My friend, who is well within the legal age was not allowed into the bar on account that he displayed a fake ID. However, his ID was real and the bouncer Reggie did not let him in probably because of his ego. I am disappointed my friend was denied service and do not plan to come to Hueys again. I do not claim it was because of his ego without reason: due to many patrons entering (despite it being overcrowded) with “VIP cards” I kindly asked my friend come in along with me when the door opened to us proles. This probably led to him deciding to deny us just to flex. The man is very large and knew we could not argue or debate his decision. Such is the problem with late night college bars.

Unsafe place for females. Over crowded. Little to no alcohol in their overpriced priced drinks. Unsanitary Bar and Bathroom area. Definitely avoid this establishment. As a local guide I pride myself on giving the most accurate and up to date reviews of establishments, you do not receive this honor without being 100% truthful in all evaluations.

Great place to get drinks! Bartenders are friendly and mix some great shots and there's a Pokemon Go gym within reach while you're sitting at the bar watching TV and having drinks. Plenty of TVs to watch sports and a nice drink selection including Hacker on tap!

I’m recently turned 21 and I was not allowed in. The bouncer took my id and refused to give it back so now I need to get a new one. Ridiculous.

Stopped in before the Wisconsin vs Rutgers game. Strong drinks, friendly atmosphere, highly recommend. Closest place to SHI stadium and you can be there from here quickly with about a $9 Uber

What can I say? Huey’s is always a good time! Management, service and the atmosphere is always first rate and very professional. First rate management, service as well as atmosphere have become an absolute necessity in the service industry. Huey’s never disappoints. The music is good too! They don’t serve food but the alcohol is great and reliable. It’s primarily a college bar but the staff is good to the older folks who stay and are polite. I highly recommend the place. There is a dance floor as well! There are plenty of TVs which give the place a sports bar feel too! In conclusion, the place was just renovated and is an outstanding bar/nightclub.

Loud and packed college bar with drunken students singing bad karaoke. Students had a great time. Not for anyone over the age of 23.

Great atmosphere. Great time overall. DJ was nice, took requests. Bartenders are very attentive. The staff here are superhuman. It's so loud I can't even hear myself, yet the DJ and bartenders were able to understand what I was saying and provide great service. I'll definitely be back

Bouncer would not do anything when my friend and I were being harassed by this guy while waiting in line. He was using slurs towards us and would not leave us alone.The bouncer proceeded to let the guy in to the bar even after we expressed how uncomfortable the guy made us.

Huey’s has been the best part of my college experience. The people that work here are the best and always look out for everyone. No other bar like Huey’s at Rutgers.
