Do not make the same mistake and order from this restaurant, the pizza was dry and undercooked, the wings were fatty and undercooked, the ceasar salad was wilted with soggy croutons and couldn't bother chopping up the cold grilled chicken in it!! On top of that they don't deliver! How are they still open? If an Italian restaurant can't make a half decent pizza what's the point of opening the doors every day? They're expensive and a total ripoff. I would have given it less than one star however, there's no rating lower than one star. Horrible!

I called to let them know in advance that I would come in for my daughter's birthday with 15 people (mostly adults) that I wanted to host lunch for. I thought it would be the courteous thing to do rather than walk in--- as this is a pizzeria and most people do. They flat out told me no. I had already invited everyone via invitation so this is quite embarrassing THAT A PIZZERIA says no to 15 on a Saturday at 1pm. Never have I heard of such a thing. I do spoil my family... so their loss $$$$ but super un-family like for a restaurant that has family plastered on the front of it.

My family and I come here just about every Friday. It is the perfect place for good Italian food. My family and I look forward to this every week and we are pleasantly full and very happy afterwards. 10/10 I love this place, definitely try it out.

I really wanted to like this place but nope the pizza was not good. The sauce was so bland which is a shame since the crust seemed to have good potential. The cheesesteak was one of the worst I’ve ever had from a pizza place. The meat was gray the cheese was almost nonexistent. Try some place else.

Giving 3 stars because I’m thinking I went in here when the staff working was having an off day. Please note this review is for to-go slices only... It’s pretty hard to compete with Mancinis up the road, but this place is closer to my house so I wanted to give it a shot. When I walked in there was one guy making a pizza and there was an uncomfortable vibe as though he just finished up an argument with someone. He seemed, agitated. It wasn’t crazy, just not the warm friendly fuzzy feeling you read about in the other reviews. I bought a Pepperoni slice and a white with broccoli. This cost me $7.73, which seems a little on the high side; but hey if the slice is good so be it I’ll pay top dollar. But oh the slices were not good. I was pretty disappointed because I really wanted them to be good. I don’t think Mancinis is the BEST pizza so I was hoping Bella would beat them. They were hard crust, SUPER oily (and I love the oil drip but whoa this oil was intense), and no real flavor on the white slice.

After being a long-time and loyal customer, I am no longer pratonizing this pizzeria because the owner is very nasty and threatened me to get out because of a misunderstanding.! Mancinis is 10 times better and nicer than Bella pizza. I wouldn't recommend Bella pizza!! Owners Pino and Nelli are the nastiest owners and they both shouldn't be in business and their pizzas are the worst...all dry and no taste!!

I have not had this good of a seafood dish in this area ever. Was amazed that there was even a dining room. BYOB which is even better. Outstanding meal. First but not my last time. Seafood bowl is off the charts.

Absolutely my favorite Italian restaurant. I'm always greeted with a friendly voice when I go in, and our conversation always ends up going to how life is and such. I love talking to their friendly staff and after the conversation is over, I'm treated to delicious Italian cuisine. Their cannoli are always fresh and mouth watering and their pizza is the best around. Their dinners give you large portions and the ingredients are always fresh.

We were back in NJ after several years and asked a friend the best Italian in East Brunswick. His recommendation did not disappoint! We ate there three times in a week and even brought a pizza home to our elderly mother-in-law because she liked the food so much. The vodka sauce over lobster ravioli was the best I ever had and the small restaurant atmosphere was serene.

While visiting NJ we were blessed to find this lovely place! As Italians, we take our food seriously and Bella's was wonderful! The atmosphere, the food, the service. We were seated next to a lovely couple (Bob and his GF who are regulars) and they were so lovely. Though we had just met, it felt like we had known them for years! They treated us like family and were so generous. My husband and I left with tears in our eyes as we were told they paid our check! Now that is hard to come by! Bella- sei bella dentro e fuori! Bob (grazi, grazi!)- we hope you had the most amazing 81st birthday! We look forward to visiting again in October! Con gratitudine e amore- Matt & Nikki

Very nice little pizza and Italian restaurant. I liked it very much. Very solid quality, decent pricing. A little weird to pull in as it's right next to the light and has limited but decent amount of parking. It stands alone on a little island on 18, near a cross street and turn around exit.

First time here. Our daughter moved from Union County to Middlesex County in NJ and lives close to here. Had to find a new pizza joint for her. This was one we found. Pizza was okay. Zucchini sticks okay, mozzarella sticks not so good (frozen then fried - not dripping/pulling and the coating falling off). Four stars on the food for the antipasta salad (see pic). That was one of the better ones in Jersey and I look for them everywhere I get a chance. Atmosphere is "if you're not from the old neighborhood, we going to stare at you". Old wood paneling and framed Italian pictures. At least I didn't see a Goodfellas or Godfather set of pics on the wall. But I just did take out.

The service is very friendly. I really like their pizza. It is lightly crispy and the sauce is not acidic.

Bella La Pizza is a rare gem! The atmosphere is old school pizzeria! The food and service are top notch! It's like eating a grandma's on Sunday's! The stuffed flounder is one of my favorites and a must try! 🙂

Bella La Pizzeria has been around for decades. There are food options for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. The owner, who is also the chef, is very nice. Overall, me and my family thought that the food was delicious. For first time customers, I would recommend visiting this food establishment.

Bella’s is the best Italian restaurant in the area. The staff makes you feel like family and the food is to die for. My family comes here often and even cater our holidays from here. You won’t be disappointed.

Love the food and personal service!! The prices are very reasonable and Nella goes out of her way to please you. It’s way more than a pizzeria - in my opinion it should be Bella’s Italian Restaurant and Pizzeria because so much more than pizza. My husband and I absolutely love going to Bella La Pizzeria so much that we have gone 3-4 times a month over the past several years. Now that we moved out of state we can’t go as often as we did but whenever we are in the area we come to enjoy the made to order dishes and friendly service from our dear friends Nella and Pino. It really is like coming home to family. We have tried just about everything on the menu and have some personal favorites, of which I posted pictures. We really like that it’s a BYOB restaurant!! Everything is delicious from the bruschetta and home made rolls, salad, appetizers, pizza, entrees, cappuccino and espresso and desserts (try the homemade cannolis) you just can’t go wrong. It’s also a casual, take your time kinda place that will soon become your favorite place to go. I can’t forget to mention the cozy ambiance with music by Frank Sinatra playing in the background. Don’t forget Pino’s famous garlic thin crust pie—it’s fabulous, we highly recommend it!!! I also had a private lunch there that was made very special for a very special group of hardworking ladies that volunteer full-time. Thanks so much Nella, Pino and Karen for all the fabulous food and service over the years!!!
