This place is definitely a hidden gem. The food is made fresh and is simply very delicious. I order from them very often, but recently I catered for a party order with them. Hina took my order and her suggestions were great. My guests were raving about the taste of each and every items we ordered. I have another catering order coming up with them. I am definitely recommending this place.

This is the new location and the interior now is fantastic. Menu is little short- more options for non-veg. Only 2 entrees for veg options so check out the menu before you go. Food- was ok, wish it came with regular pita bread and spicy red hot sauce though (they dont have that here). Price- little pricey but I guess everyone has raised the prices in the pandemic to survive. Vibe- nice small little place - has only 6 tables.

Amazing food and amazing service. The falafel was delicious and well cooked, the hummus and pita was phenomenal. Definitely get desert, we had the kazandabi which was a milk pudding with pistachio and whipped cream and it was soo good on a hot day. The staff were kind and welcoming and we will definitely be back!

I heard of this place in some local ads, and decided to give it a try while driving by. I think it used to be by the A&P, so a new location. It was surprisingly nice inside. It's a small place, but they made it look great. Probably do a lot if takeout, but there were several others dining there. The service was friendly and the food was tasty and beautifully plated. I had the lamb adana with a side if smoked eggplant from the lunch special. My only complaint is I wish there was a bit more food for the price. While most places are a bit overinflated in price these days for the cost here more of everything (especially the meat) would make it a better value. That would really make it 5 stars to me. I would say 4.5 now. Either that or offer lunch special for less with option to add extra meat for more money. They were nice and offered a hot tea on the house too. Worth checking out.

The only music this restaurant plays is sad violin music. It’s a violin version of all popular songs and it’s actually so aggravating to sit through, it makes the whole experience irritating personally. Furthermore, the waitress has such attitude for no reason. Since we walked in, the place wasn’t welcoming at all. When asked if we could get more bread the waitress replied “yeah. It’s complimentary.” With such attitude like girl, we’re just hungry and this attitude is not necessary. Perhaps she doesn’t get paid that much to CTE that much. Maybe their whole atmosphere is supposed to be a negative environment. Anyways, moving on to the food, the grape leaves tastes so… bad. I don’t even know how to say it but it just did not hit. Also the platters- I expected it to be big rigjt, but no… it was a teeny bit of rice with two pieces of small lamb chops and two pieces of chicken… like I thought platters were supposed to be big… my bad. The food was bearable tho, I didn’t really get much flavors. Go to this place if you can bear loud violin music and unflavored food! The only waitress that’s iffy is the girl with a side part, the other people are chill.

Service was friendly. The chicken Adana was nice and tender with good flavor. The hot mix platter rations were kind of tiny. The falafel was pretty good, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Overall a little pricey for what it we got. Each of the 2 plates was $20. Was a little turned off that they don't have complimentary tap water, only bottle water.

Small dine in place right off the highway. The outside looks outdated but the interior design is modern and clean. The provided bread 🍞 was so fresh, warm and toasty 😋 Entree was just as delicious. Recommend the chicken shish. Grill perfectly. The lamb chops were awesome as well. Price is decent and service was great. 👍🏻

This place is such a gem. The food is so simple and delicious. You can tell it’s made with love. The presentation and atmosphere is perfect for a girl’s night or date. I went about a week about with my group of besties and the (I think) manager was so amazing. He suggested what we should get, was SOOO attentive, so kind and did not rush us at all. It really was such a great and carefree night, thanks to the Koy. I have already ordered out and will be back again soon. So happy to have been suggested this restaurant.

Could not wait to come here after reading the reviews and so happy to have finally made it! The shrimp and salmon were cooked and seasoned perfectly! Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another thing, our waitress Tony recommended the lemon pound cake for dessert and my goodness, Koy hit it out of the park. We will certainly be seeing you again soon!

I did a Google search for food near me, and found this hidden little gem 💎 I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food and this place nailed it, Denver was very helpful and very accommodating. I highly recommend this place if you like this type of food. 1) atmosphere was very relaxing, the place is small but quaint. 25 to 30 people comfortably. 2) food is excellent. 3) service was excellent. 4) Dessert 🍨 was excellent pistachio Gelato glass. My wife loved it as well. We shall return. Music nice vibe....

It was nice to find a Mediterranean restaurant here in East Brunswick. Every dish was delicious, and service was very homey. I see myself coming here often. And oh yeah, the portions were great! 😊

Really happy we found this place nearby!! Quality ingredients you can taste and the portions are generous. The lentil soup is so amazing you have to try it! Fresh bread and pita is to die for. Don’t have to fight over deciding what to eat tonight, just go with this place and you won’t be disappointed.

We stopped here on our way home from the OSU v Rutgers game (sorry Jersey, better luck next time!). We were pleasantly surprised at how phenomenal the food and service was. Great atmosphere, fantastic people, the food was amazing. Next game, we'll be back!!

If you don’t get the Red Lentil Soup, Mediterranean Salad, Crispy Phyllo Rolls and the Koy Ultimate Grill platter you’d be missing out!!! Ask them to break out that Peri-Peri Sauce from the fridge and drizzle to your delight…enjoy!

Dined at Koy Grill last night, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The ambience was incredibly warm, cozy, and welcoming. The new age lighting added a unique touch, casting a sense of warmth that enveloped the space like a familiar haven. Our host, Denver, was outstanding. Despite a bustling restaurant, he remained attentive, calm, and highly professional throughout our visit. His service truly enhanced the overall dining experience. Now, let's talk about the food. The house-made bread was a revelation. It was so soft and fresh; it felt like it had just come out of the oven and literally melted in my mouth. Pairing it with the lentil soup, complete with a fresh cut slice of lemon, was a scrumptious delight. Dipping the warm pita bread into the soup was simply heavenly. The Lamb Adana Kebab, accompanied by a side helping of rice and yogurt dressing, transported me to the Mediterranean coast with every bite. The flavors were exquisite, and the meat was tender and flavorful. Before the conclusion, I must mention the Kazandabi dessert, which was the perfect way to wrap up the meal. This caramelized light milk pudding, garnished with pistachios, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup, was a delightful and indulgent treat that left a lasting impression. It was the sweet finishing touch to an already exceptional dining experience at Koy Grill. Overall, I can't recommend Koy Grill enough. If you happen to be in the area, it's definitely a restaurant worth trying. Just be sure to make a reservation, as it's no surprise that such a fantastic place tends to get quite busy.

Delicious! Location: easy to find on route 18. Small plaza, and small parking lot. Food: we been here many times and everything we ordered are delicious! The beef phyllo rolls were crispy and very flavorful. We normally order grill dishes for two. No complaints regarding their cooking! Service: very attentive and fast. The complaints I have for this place is that they do not offer tap water, and the access to the bathroom is from outside. You’ll need to leave from the front door and go around the building. Not fun during raining days or winter time. Price: very reasonable. About $80 for two. Overall: we’ll be back for sure!

Great experience here! First time here. Clean inside, great server and the food was delicious! We got two combo platters. The lamb gyro was the best I ever had! Thinly sliced and all meat was very fresh tasting!

Sharing a delicious meal with my husband & daughter. Appetizer of liver bites, lentil soup, Turkish bread, chicken & lamb gyros - more than enough to take home as a doggie bag. Excellent service, pleasant ambience.

Everything was amazing from the fresh bread to the meats. The restaurant looks new and spotless, nice decorations. We had the ultimate joy grill for 2 and it definitely could feed up to 3, my friend and I eat a lot so if we had left overs you def will have enough for another. Lamb chops were the best part IMO. Will stop by next time I'm in Edison. Thank you for the hospitality and the great service.

Koy Grill offers an authentic Mediterranean experience! The food here is delicious! We ordered the combination platter where we got to try different types of meats (lamb chop, lamb gyro meat, and lamb Adana, beef shish!) I highly recommend trying the combo platter to try the diversity of meats & going forward you will know what to order! You get to taste their seasoned bread as appetizers! Will come here again!

Food was good. Overall, a bit pricey. I'm not used to having to pay for more bread. Also, no regular water, so you are forced to buy bottled water/ juice/ soda. The restroom is only accessible through the back of the restaurant; meaning, you have to leave the restaurant & walk to the back of it to use the restroom. For me, this is a big inconvenience. I miss the old Koy at its old location.

We had the BEST experience at Koy Grill, truly beyond our expectations. Having been to Turkey, the cuisine was spot-on to traditional fare from the appetizers, to entrees, dessert, and tea. The menu provided multiple options for everyone to be satisfied. We would have given 5-stars for the food alone but I just need to make a note with how outstanding the service was. Denver & Jowan (I may have spelled wrong) were both SO attentive and kind and made our entire night fun and memorable. Meeting them tonight was like saying hello to old friends! Do yourself a favor and give it a try — maybe even for a early dinner so you have a chance to enjoy the wonderful staff before the crowd rolls on! Thank you for a great night and wishing you all continued success on your business!

Found it randomly on Google Maps and I'm glad I trusted previous reviews. Food was delicious and it's located right near our house. Lamb and chicken were both great. The Baba Ganoush was pretty decent, too.

This was not on our list of 52 international restaurants in 52 weeks but I'm so glad we stopped by for lunch. The food was absolutely delicious! We would highly recommend!

The service is fantastic here. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is delicious and they have a great menu. The only issue is that you have to leave the restaurant and go outside and around back to go through another door to use the bathroom. 🤔
