I
typically
LOVE
Brothers
pizza,
but
the
way
they
do
business
on
DoorDash
has
caused
me
to
re-evaluate
my
business
with
them.
Lets
get
this
out
of
the
way.
Pizzas
great.
It's
AMAZING.
Great
crust,
flavorful
sauce,
it's
all
amazing.
They
always
were
a
bit
more
expensive
than
some
others
in
the
area,
but
that's
okay!
They
have
some
of,
if
not
THE,
best
pizza
around.
It
was
okay
that
they
had
weird
delivery
hours.
We
worked
around
it
or
picked
up.
But,
when
I
want
to
save
a
few
bucks
and
use
a
coupon
I
get
from
Door
Dash
on
my
favorite
pizza
place
that
I've
been
going
to
since
I
was
a
kid,
I
almost
end
up
spending
more
than
without
the
coupon!
Why?
Because
the
way
Brothers
has
their
Door
Dash
set
up.
First,
you
can't
pick
up
an
order
using
Door
Dash
so
don't
plan
on
saving
a
few
bucks
on
their
$3
delivery
fee
and
whatever
you'd
tip
the
driver.
I
assume
that's
because
they
don't
want
to
pay
fees
to
DD
on
those
orders
if
the
person
is
coming
in
for
their
pies
anyway.
I
get
it
I
guess,
but
you're
likely
losing
out
on
more
than
you
would
be
spending
on
those
fees.
I
can't
tell
you
how
many
times
I
ordered
elsewhere
because
I
couldn't
pick
up
my
order
using
DoorDash.
IMO,
Getting
a
$50-60
order
and
paying
6%
to
DD
>
no
order.
Second,
Brothers
has
some
of
the
HIGHEST
service
fees
I've
ever
come
across
on
DoorDash.
A
whopping
20%.
TWENTY
PERCENT!
That
means
when
I'm
ordering
two
large
pies
and
paying
the
$3
delivery
charge
they
tack
on
(which,
let's
face
it,
doesn't
exist
at
most
pizza
places
anymore
and
confuses
the
customer
into
trying
to
figure
out
if
that
goes
to
the
driver
or
the
shop
and
If
they
should
even
add
a
tip
when
there's
a
fee.
How
much
tip
should
they
add?
A
buck?
$2?
They're
getting
$3
already
right?
I
should
know,
I
was
once
a
young
pizza
delivery
boy
myself),
plus
the
tax,
I'm
going
to
end
up
paying
nearly
$10
(TEN
DOLLARS!)
extra!
Most
places
keep
it
around
10%,
sometimes
15%.
Hey,
we're
all
hurting
here.
But
shaking
your
customers
upside
to
get
every
cent
from
their
pockets
isn't
the
way
to
go.
Keep
in
mind,
I
know
I
can
order
from
them
WITHOUT
DoorDash.
I
do
so
frequently
and
have
for
many,
MANY
years.
The
point
is
that
when
I
get
the
occasional
coupon,
it
would
be
nice
if
it
actually
saved
me
money.
So
today
I've
decided
to
no
longer
support
a
business
that
makes
a
conscious
choice
to
hit
their
loyal
customers
with
supremely
high
fees
as
well
as
disable
store
pick
ups
through
the
app
to
save
some
money
(idk,
a
$50
order
with
a
6%
share
to
DD
seems
better
to
me
than
a
$50
order
to
the
competition
🤷🏻).
In
a
time
when
there's
a
hike
on
prices
everywhere
and
huge
inflation,
many
are
looking
to
save
where
they
can.
And
with
so
much
competition,
it's
easy
to
make
those
choices.
Just
my
two,
or
three,
cents.
