Gave this place a try, it was good, but not worth the prices they are charging. If I want to pay 5.50 for a slice, I’ll get it in Manhattan where everything is on a markup. But in central NJ it’s way overpriced. Gas is at an all-time high, but a gallon of gas is still cheaper than their pizza!

We went to get dinner. They make pizza 🍕 from the menu options as well as they sell pizza slices as well which is like you come and buy and eat or take away don’t need to wait as you might have to when you order a full pizza. Being vegetarian we got 3 different slices of pizza - Margarita, Feta Cheese 🧀 pizza and a slice of veggies pizza which had tomato 🍅, broccoli 🥦 and cheese 🧀. For Non vegetarians more options were available. Along with pizza they also sell items like cheese garlic 🧄 twist etc. lot of options for drinks like soda 🥤 packed juices etc are available. Can we visited for a quick bite. Pizza taste was okay 👍

Superb Lunch!! Stopped by Mancini pizza for lunch and to order catering for a friend's home after a funeral . Liz ordered the chicken ridiculous. Danielle had the spicy vodka and a white slice and I ordered a rice ball and a garlic upside down pizza slice. This place is about the staff that works there that's why we keep coming back!! Thank you for a very tasty lunch !!!

Decent pizza. Feels a bit hyped with all the specialty slices. Best for me was burrata pepperoni. Margherita slice was ok, too thick. Plain pizza ranked last place because it didn't have enough sauce for me, dough was too thick and felt under cooked. Highlight: the garlic knots, best knots I've ever had. Overall decent pizza. Service was great, and staff very friendly. Walking through here I felt like I was living on Staten Island again.

This place had very good service. From the moment we walked in, they were very attentive. The pizza had a savory sauce and the crunchy crust. It’s a pretty busy area. Definitely check it out.

Had the pleasure of stopping here for dinner. Was helped by Brandon and ordered the mozzarella stick and a pepperoni and onion pizza. Delicious doesn't do the food justice, the sauce is good old Brooklyn style pizza. 10/10. Will definitely be back on the way back !!

The Mancini family has been operated as a small family business for as long as I can remember. their restaurant operates a front and back kitchen. they have trained cooks to create just about everything in a traditional italian restaurant. Yet they continue to only allow close family to operate the pizza oven up front. When I enter Mancinis pizza, The first impression i get is a warm welcome. they’re a busy restaurant yet they make it a point to make delicious food with unlimited professionalism towards everyone who walks in their doors.

I seldom find myself writing a review, it's just not something I often take the time to do. But, the moment I bit into my 'Marco Polo' slice, I knew I would be leaving Mancini's a review. To start, the crust was just right, thin but not too thin, crisp but still had good chew, and not overly doughy or heavy, in my eyes the perfect carrier for the toppings. The sauce is simply delicious, it tasted fresh, well seasoned (not over seasoned, allowing the natural flavors of tomato to shine) , with little bits of tomato in it. The fresh mozzarella was a little heavy handed but I enjoy cheese and I enjoyed the generous amount on the slice, maybe not good for the health conscious but then again it's pizza! The rounds of pepperoni on top were great and plentiful as well, cooked to perfection, allowing the edges to curl up and crisp without burning and still left soft in the centers. I'll go as far as to say this is one of the best, if not the best, slices of pizza I've had the pleasure of enjoying (I eat a lot of pizza). I'll definitely be back for more.

Went here to pick up pizza for dinner with a friend. The service was incredibly indifferent. They said it would take 20 minutes for the order so my friend and I went to wait in the car. When we got home we found out that our pizza and the sandwich we ordered were both burnt. Not only that but we paid $42. For a 2 topping pizza and a sandwich. Outrageous. I will not be going here ever again and I don't think it deserves the 4.4 stars it has. Maybe it's good for New Jersey pizza, but you won't find a pizzeria giving you burnt food in New York.

I was here just a few minutes ago, and picked up a slice. I walk in and a tall youngish guy I’m assuming a manager is berating an older gentleman employee because he’s upset the pizza wasn’t made the way he wanted it “it’s never done how I want it, there’s always an excuse”and was annoyed because it would dry out. He’s loud and it makes the space quite uncomfortable. Two customers walk in and ask what a slice is “it’s the same thing everyday” and explains the slice with a bad attitude. I was in a good mood walking there the day before thanksgiving and then this! 1.Be mindful of how you treat your elders IDC what his position was, have SOME RESPECT!(even more so if it’s family) 2. Take that drama to the back where no one can hear 3. Grow up and learn some professionalism and this recommendation is from a person who works in leadership and understands how frustrating the role can be but that’s never an excuse for rude and disrespectful behavior and S/O to the older gentleman who handled it like a pro didn’t say a word and focused on helping the customer

I’ve had a LOT of pizza in the New Brunswick area and neighboring towns, and Mancini is by FAR the best pizza I’ve had. It is easily the best choice for any body living within a 20 minute drive, including Rutgers students.

We waited over an hour for over cooked wings and monzerrala sticks. The wings smell like they were cooked in old grease. I will never place an order again.

Suggested to me by members of the Jersey Pizza Joints crew. Mancini's served the kind of pie I've loved going back to the '50s. And did a damn fine job of it. The sauce alone merits a return visit. The service was indifferent at best, but the joint was jumping, so I'll let them slide on that one.

Restaurant serves me burnt pizza. After telling the waiter, he yells for the manager to come over to my table in the middle of the restaurant saying “they say their pizza is burnt”. The manager comes over, looks at my pizza and says “that’s how we make it…” after awkward silence for about 15 seconds, I asked for a new one cooked lighter. The manager accommodated, but his body language read like he wasn’t happy to do it. Also got their $14 sautéed broccoli and it was less than average. For half the price I’ve generally received a larger portion and it’s tasted better. Then the table next to us was serviced frozen tiramisu. Guess what the waiter said… yup, “that’s how we serve that here”. Long story short short, I spent $102 to sit in a pizza shop, facing boxes and Costco sized beverage packages, be offered less than average service and experience a meal made that isn’t anything like most Italian restaurants make pizza… I could talk about the rest of the the food, but I think I’ve said enough. Wish I never went here and wasted my money.

This place has absolutely fabulous pizza. I had the cauliflower crust, since I can't eat gluten, and it was by far the best cauliflower crust pizza I've ever eaten. It was just Margherita style, but so flavorful! The service was great, too, with people who obviously know their regular customers and care about them. I definitely recommend this place!

Unfortunately we don't live near enough to Mancini's to go there as often as we would like. They make the best pizza and the best bread I have eaten anywhere! Whether we order one of the pasta dishes or eggplant parm or meatballs or rice balls, we are always satisfied. It is a true family-run business. Everyone there is friendly and helpful! The service is prompt; the dining area is cozy and adequate. We have been comfortable there with a group of 10. Best traditional Italian food anywhere!

love this place usually, great service. got the spicy vodka with pepperoni, tasted like salt was poured over it :( almost inedible. paid 50$ for the pie too, just sad it was unbearably salty. will obviously come back but very disappointed this time around

Best pizza and wings I've had in central jersey so far. We will be coming back, even if it's a drive. Only critique was that our server was very slow

So I used a Visa Gift Card (my first time ever using it at a restaurant) to eat here. The charge on my card was higher then the receipt. So I questioned it. The waitress was very pleasant. When she came back & told me that it was only showing the price of the meal, I had her listen to the transaction history. So she went behind the line & a gentleman came to my table. A taller man, big nose & baseball cap on. He was very rude & nasty. First he said he didn't charge me that. I agreed cause he wasn't the person that rung me up. Then he gave me a nasty look & told me very rudely that gift cards put 20% tip on hold til they get closed out. I understood & said I never used a gift card for eating out. While I was speaking to him, he ignored me & walked away. That Kind of Customer Service I Don't Need in My Life. You have no clue what someone is going through or dealing with. I wasn't nasty & didn't raise my voice. I probably would've came back here again, if it wasn't for the horrible way he treated me. I WILL NEVER COME BACK HERE EVEN IF I'M STARVING. SHAME ON YOU & YOUR DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! I found a picture of one of the Rudest People I ever had the displeasure of talking to.

They love their money here. The food is very good, however they overprice everything. I brought a bottle of wine and they charged me a $5 corkage fee even though they don’t serve alcohol there. I dined in for dinner. The pasta specialty dishes do not come with a salad like the other main dishes do. The waitress refused to give us tap water when we asked, they make you buy a water bottle instead and say that’s the only option. Very good pizza but there’s other places just as good for cheaper

Great dining experience. I enjoyed all the food and service. The place has a New York feel. The food doesn't taste like NJ Pizza. I think it may be in the ingredients that the owners are using. The quantity of food for price is a great value. The place is always packed with people when I have gone, they all rave about how good the food is.

Great pizza. I had a slice of cheese and a slice of grandma’s. The staff were friendly and service was fast. And most importantly, the pizza was hot and delicious. Would highly recommend.

Great pizza here, good quality for the price. Fugettaboutit pizza (half pizza half calzone) was delicious although next time I'll just get a full calzone because I loved the calzone part the most, very good ricotta cheese. I'll definitely come back when I'm in town.

I was crazing the Margherita pizza, because it was the best I've ever had the last time I got it. This time, however, it wasn't up to par. I picked it up, so may be it wasn't hot enough, or maybe it wasn't freshly made. I'm not sure, because I was only 7 minutes from the house. I'll def get it again, just wish it was more consistent

Good pizzas and slices. Good vibes there. Amazing and very responsive staff. I like their pizza more than dessert, I ordered the tiramisu cup, but it was a solid frozen cup. I could not enjoy it. I spent like 10 dollars for it. But I could not enjoy the super frozen cup.

Love this place! It has been a while since I have been back since I moved out of state. But had to drive through NJ to get to NY and decided to take the detour to get some pizza! Introduced some friends in the area to this spot and totally worth the stop! Highly recommend anyone looking for some of the best pizza ever!

Service was, in a word, “inattentive.“ We had to ask for the menus, ask to order and even ask for utensils after our appetizers were brought to the table. At least the server was standing someplace where we could find her and walk over and ask for everything. Interesting that we asked for water and were told no, we could only buy bottled water. It’s not that $1.50 a person would change your lifestyle – – it’s just a matter of principle. No other pizzeria/family restaurant establishments do that. You got the feeling that they just think themselves a little bit higher brow than they really are. The food was fine, but nothing special. And it is priced about 1/3 higher than the place across the street, which is equally good, and also provides a nice salad and homemade soup with the meal for no additional charge. For a side of sautéed vegetables or an appetizer, the price difference is even greater. Again, not bad food, but really no reason to go back there considering all of the above — there are just so many better options in immediate area, including right on the other side of the highway.
