Good and cozy place. Heard this place is the best khatiyawadi Restaurant in New Jersey. They roughly have 10-12 tables. Thi is the major reason for waitings. Gratuity percentages are clearly mentioned. Felt over all the restaurant is pricy compared to many other places. Coming to food… delicious, colorful and fresh. Kitchen is visible. Other than thali items, vada pav, dabeli, pav bhaji, puri platter, parathas, vegetable salads(by default placed on the table in steel container), lassi are delicious. Reason for 3 stars: Staff doesn’t have coordination and are not really friendly with customers Restrooms are okay okay They don’t give lassi unless you have ordered thali at the table (this is not mentioned by any). It will be extra if you want. No pre bookings/reservations are allowed. If you are a khatiyawadi cuisine fan, would recommend this place.

This place has the best Thali we have ever had. This place offers some authentic Gujrati and Kathiyawadi Thali and they also have a Punjabi Thali(don't know why though). The thalis are unlimited per person and it cannot be shared. In the Kathiyawadi Thali they had 4 sabzi, rotla, roti, khichdi and kadi. The best part is they offer unlimited buttermilk as well. The thalis were delicious. Definitely a must visit for all Gujarati food lovers.

This place was suggested by a close friend of ours and I must say - they did not disappoint us at all. I ordered the unlimited Kathiyawadi thali and I could barely finish one serving leave alone seconds. Because the place is so busy, the staff seemed a little flustered. If you plan to visit the place, be prepared to wait at least 30 min (they don’t take reservations). Bigger the party the longer the wait. I am only giving 4 stars as we had to wait for good 1 hr. But then we were a party of 10. To all Indian foodies, this place is a must visit. The food was simply amazing!!!

This place was suggested by one of our friend. They didn’t disappoint at all. We came from Canada and it had the best taste and the right amount of spices. I would highly recommend someone who wants to try Gujarati thali from here. It is unlimited and very delicious and freshly made. I cannot wait until we are back in NJ, definitely gonna visit them on our next trip. Great job guys ! Keep it up 👍🏻

Truly authentic kathiyawadi food 🥘 with amazing quality and quantity. There are various options in thali. Baigan bhartha and tomato sabzi was centre of attraction. Price is little expensive. The worst part was that we waited 1.5 hrs to get our table. So it made our experience little sour. So please make sure you call them and ask for wait time as they don’t take reservations on call. Cheers enjoy this different experience.

Suggested by friends and went here first time .. it’s a little far from central NJ but wanted to try it out . Food was great . They had 3 thalis .. we tried all .. I like the Punjabi thali a lot. Gujarati and Kathiawadi thali was good too . 25-30$ per thali was a bit expensive though ! Food taste is good but expensive !! Also , the service is so bad ! About an hour wait time .. restaurant is small and couldn’t accommodate more people .. hope they can improve the service . 3 stars is max I can give for the taste of food !!

We had Kathiyawadi and Gujrati thali. The chapatis and Rotlas are nice . Began bhartha and Undhio ( mixed veg) and Kadi were good and rest of the curries tasted Decent. All curies were submerged in oil but that’s the speciality of this Kathiyawadi style food . If you are oil conscious then this place is not for you .

Great quality food. Amazing and out of this world tasty food. Loved the unlimited Gujarati and Khatiyawadi thali. Customer service is also outstanding. Clean place. I met the owner and he was very nice and friendly. I will visit once again to try their Punjabi thali.

I am short of adjectives to describe how good the food is. I live in Germany and visiting my family living in New Jersey. It is practically comfort food taking you right to Gujarat. Food is ultra-delicious, finger licking and yummy. Service is very very good. Food is served piping hot. After our dinner, they had the courtesy to warm our dessert. My allergy request was noted and food was served accordingly. I will definitely go back again. Hats off to the team to recreate authentic gujarati food in foreign land.

A friend of mine recommended this gem in New Jersey because I was craving Gujarati thali. Another friend of mine came down from GA and we decided to take a ride out here. Super busy on a weekday but totally worth the trip! The owner was really sweet and we loved the food. The thali was so good, we even took an order to go! Highly recommended.

We've been to this place multiple times over the past 5 years or so despite having to drive upto an hour to get here - that's how much we like the food here. We generally order a kathiyawadi thali and a gujarati thali. The only difference between the two is being started off with a roti instead of phulka, a few subji being different and Khichdi. The Khichdi is my absolute favorite here, no other place I've tried has been able to make it taste this good. Definitely worth trying this place out if you are a fan of gujarati food or like thali in general. Expect a wait on weekends so plan ahead.

The food is delicious and the service is also good. Cons: The thing that sucks is the long wait as it is a pretty small seating area. They do have more seating on the other side which they open up sporadically. There is also no reservations so if you plan well and come 30 minutes ahead of when you actually want to eat you will be fine :) I would also recommend staying away from the punjabi thali unless you really really crave paneer as the options in the thali are very limited. Pros: I would definitely recommend the Gujrati and the Kathiyawadi thali if you are here. Delicious!! Also did I say unlimited servings!!! Service is friendly and quick once you have been seated and have got the first serving. The Chas is also very good. Definitely give this place a go if you are in the area or plan to try out this cuisine.

Good Gujarati and kathiyawadi dinner and thali . Very Authentic and generous portions. TThey get packed and waiting is long so reservations is highly recommended. Also the servers are cordial, courteous and really serve you like “ a mother in law ( sasuji) feeding her jamai ( son in law ) - ok that’s a gujju analogy but you get the point. It’s a must visit for good gujju veg Indian food. You get four different veggies/ curries with unlimited refills . Only negative is limited farsan and mithai. We were only served dhokla and gulag jamun and in thali we usually get more options .

Awesome Kathiyawadi food! People who eat less spicy food might find the spice level little higher, but overall authentic yummy food!

Starts with one liner, it's good. All foods are normal and like home cooked. Tried the food here for the first time, and it's good except few flaws. We had Kathiawadi thali and it comes with first chaas and then the thali with dhokla, 4 sides, 1 sweet, kadhi, khichdi along with variety of pickles on side. Most of them were good. But rotlo were machine made and were hard/looks dried. Food - 4/5 Service - 3/5 Ambiance - 4/5 Cost - 3/5 With tax, the thali costs $30 which is on a little expensive side. Sometimes we had to wait for refills, which was on a bad side.

One of the best thali places in US. They have 3 unlimited thali options to choose from that are gujarati, kathiyawadi, and punjabi. The food was delicious and sumptuous. They had amazing buttermilk and accompaniment(papad, pickle, garlic chutney, etc). It is a must visit on a lazy Sunday lunch. The wait times can be crazy though so be patient.

Came here after hearing many good reviews from friends, this place lived up-to the expectations. Their Gujarati and Kathyawadi thaali both were very good. Actual Gujarati Dal I had 1st time in US, no other restaurant in US gave me this Daal taste. One more thing which I personally liked very much was there Khaman, I will say best you can get in entire NJ.

The food taste at this restaurant will take you back to India. Thali was excellent. You get Butter Milk (Chaas) per table decent size. Each food in Thali is done right. If you are visiting New York, it is worth the drive. I will let the picture do the talking!

If you are craving for food in general this is the place. You might have heard concept of bottomless salad or drink. This is bottomless entree. Gujarati/Kathiyawadi food will fill you up until you are unable to walk. I have been here multiple times, honestly have lost count for it. One serving of everything on the thali is enough to make you feel full. Yes, as per other reviews the cost is bit on the expensive side when compared to other cuisines and restaurants.

Went to the place post recommendation from one of my friend. To start, they have walk in reservation and normal waiting time is 15 to 30 minutes, you need to write your name and number to be called once the spot is available. We ordered Kathiyawadi and Punjabi thali that Is unlimited with unlimited chaas. Kadai Paneer, Chole, Dal dry was decent but could have been better in the Punjabi Thali. I liked Sev tomato 🍅, Baigan Bhartha in the Kathiyawadi thali, the rest was just Ok. Khichdi was cold not tasty. The papad served at the first time was crunchy but the next one was like roti 😐Loved the chaas the buttermilk with the food one extra star for it. Ample parking available outside the restaurant. Happy eating 🍽

Omg the orro rotlo was sooo yummy and smoky, just reminded me of home. Dhokli and khichadi were delicious too. Loved the food.

Very good quality food with decent price. We tried Kathyavadi Thali and it tasted really good. It's a family owned restaurant with good service. Would go there again if I get a chance.

👍👍 Enjoyed our meal today. Food was good and they gave a good amount of food. Clean and friendly. Got very busy at lunch time as we were leaving. I got the classic eggs benedict it was very good with a side of home fries. And my husband ordered a pizza burger very good and my son ordered cheeseburger...
