Fiddleheads is a small business restaurant that survived the Pandemic because of who they are. Brian & Dan are awesome. They create some unique dishes that are delicious. When you visit, you won't be disappointed. Make sure you try the empanadas...so darn good!

First time at Fiddleheads tonight, was amazing! Mussels, shrimp, tuna, and dessert. A perfect spot for a special occasion.

I love this place!!! It doesn't have to be a special occasion to dine here because going to Fiddleheads Bistro makes any day a special occasion. The smoked tomato soup (menu staple) never disappoints. I had the Chicken Lyonnaise. and my husband had the jambalaya, both were outstanding. The chicken was moist with lots of veggies. The key lime pie was sweet and tart, with mounds of whipped cream. The perfect finale to a great meal. Cozy atmosphere and Brian always makes you feel so welcome. Highly recommend for dinner. Make a reservation because it fills up for dinner on the week ends.

My son brought me here for Mothers day and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! The service was excellent, the linens clean and food was delicious. We ordered the salmon and cod entrées which were cooked and seasoned perfectly. We will definitely return to sample other items from the menu!

As always, I enjoyed another great night at Fiddleheads. The quality of both the food and the service were superb. I find during the week the patrons are often regulars who have created a good relationship with Brian the host. It’s a welcoming environment as a result. Although the food is consistently very good, the burgers are always outstanding. I don’t eat meat as often as I used to so when I indulge, I want to make sure the quality is consistent so I can count on it. Fiddleheads never disappoints. Thanks Brian and everyone at Fiddleheads for doing what you do… and doing it so well!

One of our favorite restaurants! Food is great and always consistent. They have seasonal specials that are wonderfully creative and the desserts are to die for. The owners are very accommodating and friendly. Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed…

As usual, an excellent place for takeout or eat-in. I had baked cod au gratin with veggie medley & risotto & cheese topping. All excellent! She had Kaiser Blue Shrimp, w crumbled blue cheese and sauce, & veggies. Also, she had smoked tomato bisque soup. Again, all excellent! As we’ll as good, friendly and prompt service! All as takeout! Been coming here forever, it seems. More like 20 years . . . Joe Valdes

I was in NJ for work and happened upon this gem of a restaurant. I came in during their takeout shutdown period (12 to 4 weekday) the staff was gracious enough to seat me regardless. Not only was the food beyond delicious and satisfactory the gentleman that served me I could not say enough kind words about. I had zucchini cakes, 2 glasses of house made lemonade and the black peppered tuna. Everything was unique and prepared wonderfully. This is an restaurant I would love to visit again. Until my next business trip to NJ, I will eagerly be thinking about the yummy food I experienced.

I called earlier in the week to make a reservation for Sunday at 1pm and was informed that the restaurant doesn’t typically open until later in the day But Brian stated the he would be there for take out orders and could easily accommodate us in the restaurant at 1pm. His hospitality was amazing. He made us feel like family. We even got hugs when we left. The food was delicious and the menu has plenty of nice surprises… all with a flavorful flair. My bison burger with a caramelized onion aioli was a great follow up to the Smokey tomato bisque soup. A trip to Fiddelheads is a treat for your pallet and the staff will go out of their way to create a great dining experience for you.

Small restaurant we accidentally came across as a middle point between all of our family’s locations. An hour drive for each of us. We will 100% be making the drive again. Food was delicious! Service was so on point and friendly. Absolutely recommend it! Everything we tried was delicious. The mussels appetizer was incredible. Jambalaya and tortellini entrees were great too. Thanks to the owner and staff for hosting a perfect dinner and family reunion.

What a wonderful meal my friends and I had at Fiddleheads restaurant yesterday! The ambiance is so welcoming and cozy. And the food is absolutely delicious. We started with soup - I had the French onion and one of my friends has the tomatoe bisque. Both were delicious! Main course was the crab sandwich. And can’t go wrong with the chocolate love torte for dessert - delicious! Highly recommend.

The food here is delicious, fresh and comforting, the hospitality top-notch, and the atmosphere unpretentious and inviting. The menu staples are all excellent, but they always rotate creative seasonal choices in as well. The menu is always in flux. BYOB, with extremely reasonable prices. Fiddleheads is a gem…one of the best open secrets in New Jersey.

This was my first time dining here, and I will be back! Service was great and everything was wonderful. The appetizer selection is great, I wanted to try them all! We especially liked the cheese plate and empanada. I had the Chicken Lyonnaise and it did not disappoint. Dessert was very good as well!! I would recommend reservations, even on a week night, and the restaurant is BYOB.

This place has the best burger in a 50 mile radius by far! You can tell its high quality meat. I am never let down with any other meal i have had! Love their soups, their jambalaya, right down to their caesar. Greatest little small town find! A Must go!

Food was excellent. Fiddleheads has a smaller menu, but enough to fit all tastes, and everything we ate was fantastic. Staff was attentive and friendly with a way of making you feel special.

This is a little restaurant in Jamesburg that really puts out some great food. I had lunch here even though they don't serve sit down lunch. They accommodated my wife and I. We had the fried Fiddle head appetizer was very good. I had the tortellini with sage sauce amazing.

One of Our BEST Restaurant Experiences. Cozy, great staff, very attentive. The Ahi Tuna and Calamata Blue Grilled Chicken Salad were phenomenal. Above all, their INTEGRITY!! I left my backpack at the table and realized it an hour after they closed. We called and got an answer. They had it safe and sound. I went and picked it up. That doesn’t happen often these days.

Our second visit here and the entrees were full of flavor and cooked to perfection. We had a couple of hiccups on the appetizers, but the manager took care of the situation. Looking forward to returning again! By the way, the bread course was excellent, and very pleasant service as always.

We have been eating at Fiddleheads for years. The food is consistently delicious, often reflecting the seasons' produce. On Sunday afternoon, we were deciding what to for lunch. Fiddleheads! We go there for dinner but never for lunch/brunch. As we opened the door, we noticed the lights were out but we were greeted by the owner. He sat us at our favorite spot (by the window) since he is the one who usually greets each customer, and remembers where each prefers to sit. When we told him we were excited to try his lunch/brunch menu, he informed us that he no longer serves lunch/brunch but opens his doors early for those who want to come in. How excited were we!! We ordered off the main menu, were not disappointed with the food and the service, and the chef came out to visit with us to see if we were satisfied with our food. The chef ALWAYS comes out to see if the food is prepared to our satisfaction. The last time we spoke with him, we talked about cole slaw and the many different ways to make cole slaw. If you are looking for a local place with great food, amazing service, and people who care about how your food is prepared, this place is for you!

At here during Covid and always meant to leave a review. We enjoyed a meal on the porch of the local law office. It was nice to still be able to dine out during that time. My soup was excellent as well as my sandwich. Looking forward to revisiting some time soon.

Had no idea this small incredible business even existed as I’m from the neighboring town, until my buddy asked me to meet him there. From the communication getting a reservation to the service and then the incredibly tasty food. I for sure will be recommending this place to my friends and family. The one appetizer really stood out was the muscles amazing I will definitely be getting a double order next time.

We had such an awesome meal here. Brian went above and beyond to accommodate us when he certainly didn’t have to. The food was fresh and delicious, and we were very lucky to have gone during fiddlehead season. Several items on the menu included the neat little edible fern. The best part of the meal had to be the key lime pie, which Brian told us he makes himself. I also recommend their peach lemonade—so refreshing! Overall, it was such a unique and delightful experience that went beyond my expectations. My only complaint is how far away from my house it is!

We have always loved the food, staff and the service is impeccable. We just recently went for my birthday and had the most amazing tortellini in a mushroom sage sauce and they were kind enough to leave out the onions at my request. I also have to mention that the pecan pie was beyond delicious. Definitely a great choice for your romantic date or any occasion.
