It wasn’t too packed when we ate there so the ambiance was calm even with the rush of traffic outside along Rt. 1. I tried to calculate what the final bill would be from the prices off the menu before the check came so when I got it I was a little shocked at how much it was. I think I may have been overcharged, but it was hard to say since there were no prices listed next to each item on the bill. Other than that, the food quality was decent. They were missing a couple items off the menu which was disappointing as I perused the menu before going there and was planning to order them.

wonderful authentic Mexican food. We had freshly prepared guacamole, fresh chips, chicken enchiladas with green sauce, and the fajitas mixed chicken and beef. Everything was flavorful and served hot. unfortunately no cervesa, but nice assortment of fresh drinks and sodas. no diet sodas .

This place is LEGIT. You know you're gonna eat slammin' food when there is an older woman in the back making the tortillas by hand. The food was so good, I nearly cried and I wanted to hug that woman. Best Mexican I've had in a long time.

Absolutely great authentic Mexican food. The guacamole is amazing. I didn’t see Chile Relleno on the menu and they made it for me any way! Huge servings and delicious!

Tacos and nachos were good, I put a 3 star because they don’t know what service is, we were only two people in the restaurant and waiter took so long to come and serve, also had to wait a lot even to pay, I ended up standing and going to the counter. I noticed two people leaving just because they were ignored and another guy went to grab a menu by himself. Going to a restaurant is not only the food is also the experience.

Very authentic and local hole in the wall for good Mexican food. The prices are low and fair. Chips and salsa are available. Salsa has a very good kick to it. Nachos came in a huge portion and was good as left over too. Pork was a bit overcooked and generally very salty.

Non-pretentious and delicious. The guacamole is super fresh and, perhaps, the best I've ever had. The food is excellent.

This is a true Mexican kitchen. Service is slow and server only speaks Spanish, portions are big and very affordable. The atmosphere is not appealing- this is not a “first date” type of place. This is more of “I’m broke and hungry” type of place. There is no bathroom in the restaurant, you have to use the bathroom that is across from the restaurant. I mostly come here when I want a lot of food for cheap. Food is decent.

Food is not really good. The place looks too old, the restaurant needs a lot of renovations. The tortilla chips weren't fresh.

Ordered a shrimp 🍤 dish, menu said comes with meat…I picked shrimp. It came with “meat” cooked inside which was ham…I sent it back and they brought it back after picking the ham out. The dish still had ham in it, therefore I didn’t eat. The guacamole was GREAT THO🥑

Shame my favorite place around. I always order the same thing. Flautas with a side of rice and beans. It’s been a while since I’ve ordered some thing I’ll be honest with that but picked it up Sunday night and they charged me $20. I said to myself boy the price is really did go up I got home check the menu and I see that flautas are still on the menu for $10. This means they charge me $10 for a small container of black beans and about a cup and a half of rice. What a disappointment. . Never again.

Food is good but I eat better in other places. The sauce in my place was very limited. The mole was only 🦴 bone. Services was ok the sodas very good ..jajaj

Incredibly terrible! We ordered the chicken burrito and the A la Mexicana. Chicken burrito was bland, had no flavor. We couldn’t believe how a simple dish could taste so flavorless. The steak was completely dry and the rice and beans had no flavor as well. What a terrible lunch:(

Super authentic Mexican food. Delicious!!! The only thing is that they close early at night, so take note of that.

Cons: the chips served were very stale, however the dipping sauces tasted good; the bistec beef was very TOUGH but the rice was soft and moist; the Pollo plancha was a bit on the small portion for $13.00; no diet sugar free drinks .... Pros: ambience, service, festive atmosphere Would most likely not come back here again. I believe better Mexican restaurants exists elsewhere.

The exterior of the restaurant is deceiving as the interior of the restaurant brought a smile to my face. It had great ambiance and all the colors just screamed fun. The server was very nice. They served free chips and salsa but unfortunately the chips were stale and makes you question how old they are. The entrees were decent: Pollo salsa Verde, Pollo Pechuca adobada, and bistec Ala Mexicana. However, the portion of the chicken meat was on the smaller side. Also, the steak was overcooked and tough. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had but also not the worst. Would I come back? Maybe but wouldn't go out of my way though.
