Pita
was
awesome,
really
fresh
and
tasty.
Lemonade
was
also
very
good.
Almost
nothing
else
was
even
decent,
including
the
service.
The
place
was
empty
when
we
went,
around
3pm
on
a
Sunday,
but
it
took
a
good
few
minutes
for
the
staff
to
come
over
to
the
front
desk
and
seat
us.
We
were
clearly
visible
by
a
few
of
the
staff
that
were
standing
by
the
brick
oven,
but
it
took
a
bit
for
anyone
to
come
over.
We
ordered
two
appetizers
and
a
salad,
but
the
salad
never
came.
What
did
come
was
calamari
and
“Mediterranean
shrimp.”
The
calamari
was
chewy,
but
it
was
tasty,
and
the
marinara
sauce
that
came
with
it
was
also
good
-
it
had
some
hints
of
warm
spices
you
might
expect
in
Turkish
food.
The
Mediterranean
shrimp
was
described
as
“blackened,
seared
shrimp,
Parmesan
crusted,
with
balsamic
reduction.”
Picture
shows
the
shrimp
with
precisely
zero
blackening
or
spice
and
not
even
a
hint
of
parmesan
-
seemed
like
it
was
just
lightly
floured
and
fried.
Not
sure
the
liquid
on
the
plate
was
balsamic
reduction;
the
shrimp
was
just
wet
with
something
that
tasted
more
like
general
Tso’s
chicken
than
anything
else.
Could
have
just
been
a
bad
day,
and
there’s
definitely
some
potential
to
be
had
with
the
environment,
but
it
wasn’t
a
good
experience
at
all
this
time
out.
