We just got married and had our wedding reception here, the owners are super easy to work with, and are super professional. I would recommend this banquet hall to anyone, for any venue or event. We are extremely satisfied with how everything came out, and how everyone took care of us here. We will definitely be coming back to this hall for future events, as well as our family and friends. Gambino's is a hidden gem of New Brunswick! Our event = classical string trio, ballgowns, and high-end donors...all made possible by Gambino's Inn! I was a member of a non-profit gala committee and assisted in planning a HUGE, high-end event for major donors held at Gambino's. We had to raise money through an amazing event without taking away money from our non-profit cause -- tough to do! Gambino's Inn and the owners, Choka and Carolina, made it possible to hold a gorgeous event on a budget. There were high expectations for this gala - and, of course, the venue. Tickets for our event were $75 and gala sponsorships went into the $1,000s. At least 40% of the guests were successful physicians, 20% were high-level donors, and the rest were volunteers (medical students) or their families. This started at cocktail attire and went all the way to expensive ball gowns. We even had As a result, I was nervous about the venue initially, given the limited photos on the internet and the vague reviews. I couldn't have been more shocked by the stunning results. PHYSICAL SPACE/RESOURCES: Gold chiavari chairs, long tables, and all-granite bathrooms? Yes! Overall, the event space is a canvas for your decorating ideas, with tons of equipment to work with (microphones, A/V system, stages, various lighting options, projectors, etc.) and decorating options (we hung wisteria from the ceiling and lights around the dance floor). Before our event, Choka installed a gleaming hardwood entryway - that, combined with the lavender walls, made the space look really trendy. Carolina lent us lots of decorations to enhance the space. The bathrooms are all granite and are lovely. The bar area is separate from the main event hall, but can be rented at the same time - the bar itself is the largest I've ever seen and is a nice polished wood. There is an extensive alcohol selection and the bartenders are fast and drama-free. The kitchen does an excellent job of making event classics and the service is excellent - so friendly and attentive, without being overbearing. MANAGEMENT/OWNERS: The ownership is the BEST part of Gambino's Inn. You will not find a pair of people who are more hard-working and accommodating. We had a blizzard the evening before our event, when our team planned to decorate - most people didn't show up, but Choka and Carolina did! They stayed with us until midnight, climbing up ladders, arranging curtains, fixing lights, etc. They offered us coffee and homemade empanadas (DELICIOUS) to get us through the evening. Earlier in the week, we couldn't meet with Choka until 9 PM - he was so accommodating. In advance, Choka helped us arrange dedicated parking for 215 people by working with the New Brunswick PD and then stood out in the cold guiding guests to their spots. Multiple people remarked to me that they were shocked at how easy it was to park so close. Choka took care of every detail, no matter how small, but also managed the big-picture event flow. We were able to just enjoy the event because Choka and Carolina took care of everything. I cannot recommend Gambino's, Choka, and Carolina enough. They are superstars - honest, talented professionals offering a great venue.

Gambinos is oldie but a goodie bar/restaurant.. under new management.. food is good.. service is good...good place to hang out.. mature crowd .. casual setting

The place seems to have regular customer service. For me, the meal time was unpleasant, one more hour apart to enter another 35 minutes and to bring some drinks another 30. They don't even ask you if the person they have served me, I don't know if it's the person. The person in charge of the service who was not even presentable was alone, she spent her time hanging out with other people and neglecting the important thing about customer service, she left that to the owners of the place. In short, it was very unpleasant.

The food was delicious. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The management added additional decorations which made the 8th grade dance that more special.
