One of the longest woodland trails in Middlesex County. Use the trail head near Parkview Court, and you can walk for more than 6 miles. Check the county's map of the preserve first, because the trail head is not that easy to find. Trails are well marked. It's very quiet there, because not many people seem to be able to find the trail head 😅

Ticks! Some high grass was unavoidable, we used the trail from beekman road to fresh ponds rd. I found two ticks on my pants near my ankle. My fiance found one on his. Trail took us 45 mins but a fast walker could make it 25-35 mins.

Nice place for hiking. Note that there are a couple of entrances. Minimal parking. There are well marked trails, some of which are a bit overgrown. Nice spot to enjoy a nature walk

While I've never been to the specific section they show. The entire area is nice, peaceful and a great place to enjoy nature. May wanna bring hiking boots or a second set of shoes, it's Marsh land and often damp or mucky in some areas.

Pretty in the fall but disappointing trails. Feels like a MYOT (make your own trail) sort of thing.. Trails are not well marked at all. The only marked trail is red but that was a short walk with many dead ends.

The "trails" were pretty boring, when I finally went off trail and found some water, it was quite beautiful. There was a huge open space with grass roads to walk on. Follow your map to the water for sure.

Short trail site that are not well cared for. There are board walk type structures along the trails so you won't walk in mud.

Short trails that end abruptly into dead ends as they do not seem to be managed. Otherwise nice scenery for very short walks.

Very muddy hike. Come on a dry day and when you get to the road you need to cross the bridge to find the path for the rest of it. Bring a knife and a rag for vines that are over growing. Or just wear long pants if you dont wanna tangle a bush

The trail through the woods isnt completely circular and ended on a different road from where we began. I had a good time anyway, and it's easy terrain

Can I find it more then 5 stars! Stick to the trails and avoid in tick season, spring, though were here in fall and only picked up 1 tick off trails

We tried to have a night walk, but our trail was blocked off by a huge puddle on one side, and after trying an alternate route we chickened out as it looked like a scene from a Wrong Turn movie. Might be better during the day.

After it rains, the eastern end of Ireland Brook trail becomes inundated with water. Not sure how deep the water is, but you know what they say: "Turn around, don't drown."

👍👍 It's a great park for a short walk, to have a picnic and the kids can play on the playground. There also are some pretty creatures in the attached butterfly park, besides butterflies.
