It was very good to experience to visit this place and walk along Raritan Bay Waterfront. Cool breeze made things even better. It’s not a beach 🏖 place however small space is available to take sun bath n have some rest. It’s a great clam neighborhood around. However water quality is not good for swimming and water activities. Kids play area is also present nearby. Lot of private places are also available for rentals. Lot of parking spaces are available. See pics for more details thanks 🙏☺️

We go to this water front park almost every day for our evening stroll. Kids love it, it’s very scenic and offers a long boardwalk with clean shore line. The water is not suitable for swimming or bathing though. I have seen many people lounging or fishing there.

I loved how beautiful this place is. It has a beautiful new boardwalk that borders the bay with a beautiful view of Staten Island, Brooklyn and Manhattan (in the distance). It's pet friendly and a quiet place to take a beautiful walk or even relax on the beach. I just went there a few hours ago and watched the snow fall. It was breathtaking and very clean with new public bathrooms. It's all free and family friendly. Check it out.

We came here 1 time for alive music from town in the summer ( usually 1 day per week on weekdays). I really like community near the park and to walk there is so pleasant experience!!! The park itself is nice because it is near the water and long asphalt paths )

Clean, peaceful park/beach. I went during the day in October, so it wasn't crowded. People were fishing, exercising, and relaxing. Signs posted say no swimming.

Perfect place to a walk or run, weather you are alone or with company. Nice playground and great view , especially if it’s a rising of a full moon !

If you are a mother and live near by the park, you should go! The park is stroller friendly with great paths and great views. Is spacious for children to run free and has a playground. Huge parking lot and bathrooms as well. I love coming here

Very nice place. Got to see the beautiful views of sunset and moonrise. But, seems people coming are a bit careless. Especially, many dog walkers did not clean after their dogs. Otherwise this place is great to take your day-stress off.

What a beautiful park to visit! My family and I absolutely loved everything about it. There's lots of free parking, a playground for small kids and big kids, a little boardwalk by the beach, gazebos, benches, etc. Also this park is super clean and well kept!

Nice place for an evening walk or a picnic. They have nicely maintained the walkway. They have kids park as well. Neat restrooms. This is not a beach. It is just a waterfront park. Yes, you can get to the water, but the sand is muddy, and the water too. So, it's not a good idea to get to water even for a walk or for the kids to play with sand toys. Big parking space near the kids play area. Small parking space at the mid of the walk path. Parking is free.

Raritan Bay, located in South Amboy, New Jersey, presents a serene escape from the bustling city life. The beach appears well-maintained with clear demarcation lines in the sand, likely for vehicle access, which indicates good management. The presence of a paved walkway adjacent to the beach enhances accessibility for visitors, including those with strollers or wheelchairs. The view of the residential area from the beachfront showcases charming houses that enjoy an enviable proximity to the water, contributing to the area's cozy and inviting ambiance. The inclusion of public amenities like benches and restrooms indicates thoughtful planning for visitor comfort. Overall, Raritan Bay seems to be a delightful spot for a day trip or a quiet weekend getaway, where one can enjoy the natural beauty and calming sounds of the waves.

Very good for evening walk, But water is not good so don’t plan to play in water and sit by water. Good spot for fishing though

This place is gorgeous and well kept. A little neighborhood gem. I take my dog here for walks all the time. There’s a nice park which my little family has outgrown but is available and decent from the looks of it. There’s a long concrete trail that gives you a nice long walk, run, or ride around the entire space. If you go over the little bridge all the way down on the left you’ll find an area with sand you can walk out on and sit and catch some breeze. There’s benches to sit as well. Overall a pleasant place to just be outdoors.

I mean, it’s a beach where it is which means it’s not the most beautiful thing you’ve seen, but it is pretty tranquil and calming to come by yourself. I wasn’t expecting to see all the oil refineries and and a huge ship full of trash, floating by but all in all given the location it was a cute little spot. My favorite part was the LittleFreeLibrary right when you walk in or onto the beach area I love that idea for the community. My least favorite was the glass in the parking lot but at least it was free parking so hopefully this helps.

New to this area but what a great place for walking and having the family out. The views are amazing and nothing like a peaceful day by the water hearing the waves and seeing the fish everywhere. Great place for photos. And love the memorials.

Raritan bay waterfront park is a very serene place with a horizon touching water spread. There is a lighthouse in the midst of water which is an added interest to me personally. The park is spacious ,well maintained ,with sprawling playing area for different age groups. Moreover you can sit on the small beach like area and can listen to the beautiful sound of ripples crushing very slowly in the beach.Park is dog friendly. There is a shaded picnic area where one can sit with family and can enjoy foods too with the added pleasant sight of the vast blue water. The bridge adds to the scene.parking area is quite adequate and restroom facility is there too.

It's a beautiful park with walking paths, sports fields and a playground. There's a terrific gazebo for relaxing and watching the bay. Sunrise is a spectacular view from there. Plenty of parking is available in the South Amboy section. The park itself is actually in Sayreville, but you have to go through SA to get there. Definitely worth the trip!

This is a really nice local park behind a neighborhood of mostly townhouses. I love coming there for walks by b the water. One of the things I like best is that there are many benches along the way, so if you have some mobility issues, you can still enjoy the area. It's clean, I haven't seen anyone litter and also the crowd tends to be very diverse.

Such a lovely park to explore! My family and I enjoyed every aspect of it. There's ample free parking, a playground for both little and big kids, a charming boardwalk by the beach, gazebos, benches, and more. Plus, the park is incredibly clean and well-maintained.
