This is a very large park bordering the Raritan river. It has many amenities including Basketball Courts, Tennis Courts, Baseball field, picnic areas, Playground, Outdoor gym/workout, Volleyball, and many trails for hiking or biking. Buccleuch mansion is an 18th century building within the park with an interesting history. There are tours available. It has a couple of gardens worth checking out in the spring and summer months. The park is not very well maintained. The trails are riddled with potholes and muddy in spots.

I love this park! I come here and get a few laps in and around and/or have lunch under a tree. Dog friendly ✅ picnic areas ✅ although there's no grills 😔 I appreciate the gym equipment near the playground and will suggest they consider adding a bathroom and maybe a koi fish pond. There's enough space. 🙂

Great park for recreations. You'll find the following: _ Basketball Court _ Tennis Court _ Volleyball _ Baseball Field _Running/ Bike paths _Playground for kids _Workout set up There's ample space for other activities and parking. My only complaint is the inconsistent cleanliness. There are times when the park has trash everywhere and the porta potty can be smelled all over.

Awesome park. Soccer, baseball and tennis grounds are there. Very good for walking. Lush greenery, children's park, swings etc are there. Remarkably, there is a Fitness Court with "equipments" for free-hand exercise. Really good initiative by New Brunswick City Authority. Have also seen people play volleyball here. There are cycling tracks and walking trails as well.

It's quite a big park with facilities to play all kinds of outdoor sports. Nice and serene place where you can relax for a while in fresh air. A small road runs the perimeter for people to walk or jog. Overall it's a nice place to work out or do yoga and also relax and meditate.

Love this park. I mainly go for trail but they've got Tennis Courts, Baseball Field, Playground, Soccer Field and a Volleyball Court! It's a great park and it's so nice to enjoy right now during the fall weather.

it’s really dangerous to have lions roaming around the park! i brought my little boy here and he was almost attacked by those darn cats that protect the gazebo. city needs to take care of this.

Gorgeous gardens, exercise equipment for both children and adults, various sports grounds, nice walking/running trails, lots of history to explore.

Great park with above average park facilities such as clay tennis courts, individualized workout equipment, baseball, basketball, volleyball, and soccer, walk trails, historical mansion, garden, and rock trail. Definitely will return for another fun time.

The trails have not been managed in years, they are washed out and if it's rained, flooded! But don't leave the pathway or you might fall into a literal hole! Walking across a field and tripped into a pretty substantial ditch covered in leaves! Busted utility box that has turned into a 4 year old art sculpture, new wood installed on the benches that looks like it was stained by a toddler. Older trees left with dead branches and many saplings untrimmed. The tennis courts haven't been powerwashed in years. They have a lot of big equipment I see moving around and not much basic maintenance. The historic house in the park was donated 13 years ago and by the looks of it never maintained again. A damn shame.

Really nice park peaceful to walk around and clean as well. Some areas seem a little run down but as my wife says it historic. One of our favorite parks to go to.

Great Park and has a nice area where you can do some work out stuff. Like a whole workstation where you can do pull-ups push-ups I've been using it for a few weeks it's awesome.

On the northern edge of the busy "Hub City", the wide open fields of this sanctuary from urban confusion roll along near "The banks of the Old Raritan, my boy". I haven't visited this park since the late sixties, too bad for me. Spring was in the air, even the common maple wore flowers in her hair...

Has an outdoor gym, several pavilions that provide shelter, playgrounds, and the historic mansion which can be toured. Exceptionally poor quality roads; not recommended for cycling.

For does who are looking for a Great City of New Brunswick Park, this is it. It has walking path with different exercises equipment to help out with any exercises routine. It being at on a resistance equipment to tone the body as well. Good for party, a nice relaxing walk and to bring the kids to have some fun at the playground.

One of the greatest parks of all time, can't miss out on this absolutely amazing space. Also lots of portapotty access which is the most exciting park to say the very least!! 10/10 every time

One of my favorite parks to visit for a workout. The steep incline always gives my legs a good workout. They've added a Fitness Court, that includes stations for various exercises. The exercise instructions are clearly posted.

I’ve been going to this park for may years. Few days ago I noticed they added more trash/recycle bins in more than one place. Also, they paved the roads. It looks a lot more cleaner! It would be great if they do this often. Great park for walking/jogging.
