Great place for a run or easy hike. Trails aren't super long but the area is well-maintained. My dog loves coming here for walks too🙂

Peaceful meadow walk that is beautiful any season. One trail goes through woods by a babbling creek. A lot of birds during warmer months. The path is wide and well mowed. Many wildflowers and beautiful grasses glowing in the sun. Bring waterproof shoes, it gets muddy in some places after rain or snow.

Also known as Griggistown Native Grassland Preserve. Has 6 different trails that is marked. Mostly flat. Part of the 10 Mile Run Greenway. Connects from Bunker Hill Natural Reserve on the Red Trail passing between a neighborhood to the Brown Trail. Multiple trails marked along the way. There is also parking available on a side road on Bunker Hill Road across Forest Ave that connects to the Blue Trail. Great for a leisurely hike, trail running, and wanting a peaceful, quiet activity in nature. A hidden gem.

Beautiful large piece of preserved land. Not too many people. Once you reach the parking lot, it’s easy to forget you’re in a crowded part of New Jersey. Just watch out for ticks.

Great for trail running. Clearly marked trails, unless you're an idiot like me and just go where you want.

The park has several trails. It's an easy walk. Though it's close to civilization, it has not been very crowded. The sunsets were very beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful, great place for dog walking, bird watching. Basically a huge meadow with wide mowed paths through it, surrounded by woods. The whole meadow gets mowed once a year or so to maintain it, paths are mowed every week or two. Watch out for ticks. Also, bow hunting is permitted on the property in winter, plus a couple weeks of firearm hunting, so pay attention to posted signs, or Google those dates.
