Good park and one of my family's favorites. Reserve it for family picnic. Can only be reserved if town resident. If looking for a location, this is a good one. Hope this helps people.

Always a great place to have a family reunion, party, etc.

Every year my friend has a cookout here and I love it! There is seating with coverage for rain and a food areas that is also covered. They go thru the county and get a licence and pay the fee. At least 200 people show up and they all come back. It's clean and well taken care of. THE RESTROOMS ARE CLEAN! That deserves special mention.

Pavilion provides shade on sunny days. Parking is closeby. Plenty of picnic tables. Ability to use grill and folding tables is convenient. Attendant is helpful and friendly while enforcing the rules.

Good park for kids to play but not kids friendly river side walk. It’s open river entrance and is risky with little kids. Seen snakes too at the river entrance. Be careful

This park is very clean and lots to do fir young kids! John the park ranger is super helpful!

Clean and open picnic area with playground next to it. Great area to hang out or host get together. Unfortunately, bathrooms were closed which stinks.

Very nice park. You can walk to the edge of the river if you like or walk on the boat ramp. There is a huge gazebo and playground and several softball fields.

Place is nice to take a short walk with kids, dogs, or significant other. Kids' playground is well maintained.

It's a great place to celebrate birthday parties and just get together

Nice park by the water. It is very quiet and very clean. Great place to bring a chair and just relax and read or bring the kids to the playground.

I was there to watch the Bike Show being hosted there and also fundraise for my Pop Warner team. It's a really nice and open space.

Nice park by the river 👌 clean and clean bathrooms

Not very lively place, it's small one though. A n attached river is a plus point but less interesting as water was very shallow. Overall ok for a pit stop, not a place to hangout for hours.

Riverside park in Piscataway is a little known gem of a park and family area. Every time I have gone to this park I have my grandkids with me. The playground has activities for different ages and abilities. There are traditional swings you would expect to see at a park and then there are special challenge activities. The safety flooring makes the playground safer and the variety of play elements provides a fun and enriching visit. There is ample parking and accessible parking. There are seasonally open bathrooms at the covered pavilion which has many picnic tables. The park can be privately rented. On the recent date I visited there was a private event going on with catering, a DJ, and a couple of inflatables from local Air Castles And Slides. There was also popcorn and cotton candy machines at the event. A Private rental can also get the 'lights turned on' and additional limited electricity just before the party starts. The entrance to the park is has colorful well maintained plantings. The park has been immaculately clean each time I have visited. Even with a private party the park is a quiet, calming, friendly place to visit - a rare gem hidden away from the sounds of traffic of nearby highway 287. Grab some kids, family, or friends and head off to this lovely park with playgrounds, boat docks, and pleasant walking.

Nice park for a family reunion venue. Parking was adequate. Main gazebo had many picnic style benches. Another smaller gazebo was where the food was grilled. Large enough area to accommodate over 50 people. There was a baseball diamond, a playground, scattered picnic style benches and a portable basketball hoop and a river along one side of the park near the parking. There were trees that provide shade for the picnic style benches. I wished there were more garbage cans scattered near the picnic benches. It would have made it easier to dump garbage instead of walking the garbage over to the gazebo.

Pretty small park, nice playground, picnic tables .boat ramp. Not for walking too small, no trails, restrooms were closed

It is a park where you can relax your mind, especially the river area. For children there is a play area with tovogans and swings. They will have a great time jumping and playing in this beautiful natural area.
