Riverside
park
in
Piscataway
is
a
little
known
gem
of
a
park
and
family
area.
Every
time
I
have
gone
to
this
park
I
have
my
grandkids
with
me.
The
playground
has
activities
for
different
ages
and
abilities.
There
are
traditional
swings
you
would
expect
to
see
at
a
park
and
then
there
are
special
challenge
activities.
The
safety
flooring
makes
the
playground
safer
and
the
variety
of
play
elements
provides
a
fun
and
enriching
visit.
There
is
ample
parking
and
accessible
parking.
There
are
seasonally
open
bathrooms
at
the
covered
pavilion
which
has
many
picnic
tables.
The
park
can
be
privately
rented.
On
the
recent
date
I
visited
there
was
a
private
event
going
on
with
catering,
a
DJ,
and
a
couple
of
inflatables
from
local
Air
Castles
And
Slides.
There
was
also
popcorn
and
cotton
candy
machines
at
the
event.
A
Private
rental
can
also
get
the
'lights
turned
on'
and
additional
limited
electricity
just
before
the
party
starts.
The
entrance
to
the
park
is
has
colorful
well
maintained
plantings.
The
park
has
been
immaculately
clean
each
time
I
have
visited.
Even
with
a
private
party
the
park
is
a
quiet,
calming,
friendly
place
to
visit
-
a
rare
gem
hidden
away
from
the
sounds
of
traffic
of
nearby
highway
287.
Grab
some
kids,
family,
or
friends
and
head
off
to
this
lovely
park
with
playgrounds,
boat
docks,
and
pleasant
walking.
