My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour that was graciously lead by Dr. Mike Cellino. He was so knowledgeable about the history of not only the mansion but what was going on in Buffalo and prominent families at that time. His sense of humor and easy manner made this such an enjoyable way to spend a Saturday morning! We thank the Cellino family for opening up this treasure to the public!

We stopped in on 11/11/2023 for a tour of the mansion led by Dr. Michael Cellino, brother of attorney and owner Ross Cellino. We arrived a bit early and were allowed to walk freely on the first floor while waiting for the tour to begin. We were first treated to an overview of how the mansion came to be, along with being able to see the handwritten ledger of Mrs. Knox documenting all the costs associated with building the mansion. Dr. Cellino is very knowledgeable and demonstrates a passion for preserving this magnificent piece of Buffalo history. The tour was wonderful and took us back in time to a very unique lifestyle of the people who built our city and our country. Our thanks to the Cellino family for the work they have done here and for sharing it with the public.

It was great to experience the Knox Mansion with Dr Michael Cellino as our guide. Thank you Ross Cellino for opening the doors of this spectacular piece of architecture and Buffalo history to the public. My wife and I truly enjoyed the tour and appreciated the craftsmanship that we saw in every corner of the house. The least we can do in return is supporting the charity of your choice. Merry Christmas to you and your family! Cheers!

Dr.Cellino made our 90 minute tour enjoyable and seem to go quickly. So much Buffalo history we were unaware of after living here all of our lives.

Michael did an excellent job, giving us a full tour of the entire building. History is fascinating, and I had no idea the Knox family was so involved in development of the Buffalo higher education system. The building itself is marvelous, and while many of the antiques are gone. The bones are still there and very strong. I find it very generous of the Cellino firm to make these tours available for free, and Iโ€™m grateful to their contribution to the community.

Cellino has taken such nice care of this historic landmark. Attention to detail, and a testament to hard working individuals in the early 20th century.
