Rented bicycles to ride the 30 miles of Pine Creek Trail and used the shuttle service at Slate Run to return to our vehicle at PCO...they were informative and had a good supply of equipment. Would go here again for rental.

Fun place , very kind and helpful staff. The store is nice, kayak and Conoe not available because of low water , so we rented bikes and enjoyed our time on the trail. Beautiful scenery!

Totally recommend these guys! We had a crazy group to start with... 13 people ranging in ages from 1yo to 38... all renting bikes to go on the rail trail. We were a **** show right from the beginning, and they were so incredibly patient and instructive. Our group went only 4 miles and back, and half of them were almost too exhausted to continue the last mile. They offered to do an emergency pick up because they felt bad for that part of the group, and when the group said they were going to muscle through they rode behind them to make sure they made it. To top it all off, our car was dead and they helped us jump it. They were amazing, and we will forever be grateful.

If I could rate this experience any higher, I would. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable about the surrounding area and water levels. You can rent bikes, canoes, rafts, kayaks, and tubes. We rented tubes and enjoyed the float twice. There are a few spots where you’ll want to stand up and walk your tube if the water is a little low, but that’s just a heads up.

Staff were friendly and wanted to make sure we had a good time. My family and I took a canoe and kayaks on a 13-mile stretch of Pine Creek (not in the Canyon). It took us about 4 1/2 hours. Scenery was beautiful and the river was easy and safe to navigate with young children. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great experience despite low waters (which they warned us of ahead of time). Loved that they allowed my dog on the canoe. The process was very easy and the day was beautiful. Did the 1-2 hour trip from Rexford (the waters were too shallow for anything longer) but it was perfect for novice canoers + dog. We took our time (just floating some and paddling a bit) and from getting in the canoe back to the facility it was exactly 2 hours. Advisable to wear water shoes for lower water days to be able to get out and push the boat along. Saw a bald eagle which was a treat (no idea if this would be a regular siting). There were quite a few other people on the river either in kayaks or tubes. Not overly crowded, but we definitely weren't alone for very long at any point.

Great place to do business with. We used our own bikes and rode the Pine Creek Gorge (18 Miles), paid for the shuttle to be picked up at Blackwell. This is well worth it. Employees were very helpful.

Great experience. We rented 2 bikes, rode them out of the shop (10:30AM) and did 28 miles from Ansonia to Slate Run. Saw 5 eagles and lots of beautiful countryside through Pine Creek Gorge. They picked us up there at a preset time (4:45PM) and drove us back to our vehicle at the shop. We got drinks at Manor Hotel while we waited because we finished a little early. We'd highly recommend it. Friendly staff, good equipment, easy process.

Can't say enough about this place. Everyone is helpful and if you ask for advice they will be patient and share their opinions with you. They sell some pretty good gear and their shuttle service is fantastic. They take it pretty seriously, on time, and if you have problems they will work with you if they can. Mark, Corrine, and Kayla are all great!

The staff was a blast, and so nice. We rented bikes one day and did a kayak lesson and trip another day. The gorge itself is amazingly beautiful and these guys know every inch like the back of their hand. Plus the shop has everything you could need, including a big dog who loves belly rubs! Highly recommended.
