    Well respected lab, but HOLY COW do they nickel and dime you. Their 3D printed fee is $45, so if you want a splint from a scan that you send to them you pay extra. A typical 3D printed material costs is $5, so net profit alone of $40 just to send it to them as a 3D file, that is pretty high print fees if you ask me. If you send impressions that are not poured up, they charge you to pour it up. If you send in a model that you pour up in your office, then you get the flat fee. Its like they took a page out of Frontier airlines or Spirit to unbundle everything and find ways to nickel and dime you.

    Through my dentist I received one of your nightguards because I grind my teeth while sleeping. This is by far the most uncomfortable nightguards I've ever had. It fits really well yet the material is rough and combersome feeling in my mouth. It's very difficult to keep it in my nouth through the night. A smooth feeling guard would be much more comfortable to keep in my mouth. It actually feels like my tongue is against sand paper. What an awful feeling.

    When I call for tech support on my 3D printer. The support team is very helpful in trouble shooting my questions as well as going on TeamViewer and showing me how to solve my 3D issues. Also, I would like to say that any of the sales representatives are very helpful when placing orders, even when guiding me on product knowledge.

    Every time I call in to either speak to customer service, or pay a bill, they're rude, and just lack general social etiquette. Today called in to pay a bill that was sent in the mail and apparently was past due -- once the rep told me it was paid in full I say "okay great" she says "perfect" and hangs up the phone. Mind you, I felt rushed from the beginning of this call until it was ended with the sound of a click. No "goodbye", no "anything else I can help you with?" because I actually did have another question. Work with other labs with better customer service.

    If I didn't know better, I would have thought I wrote Mr. Mattingly's review from a couple years ago. However, as a patient, I have the benefit of product & service comparison: I had a Klearway appliance made by this lab for about 15 years and it was great - no problems. When I had an account question, they bent over backwards to be timely in their responses and provide good customer service directly with me. This appliance naturally wore out over time and I ordered a new one--it's the complete opposite. It's been sent back 3x in less than the 2 year warranty period for repairs, is already broken to one degree again, and does not stay in place as it should, thus is less - not effective. I sent a detailed email and asked for a replacement. I was told the lab no longer communicates with the patient, only the doctor. The orthodontist received similar levels of "customer service" and even was told I must not know how to insert the appliance properly. The only option offered is to have it returned for "repair," leaving me without the item I need, and wait yet another 4-6 weeks. My orthodontist is as frustrated as I am and has suggested other sleep apnea oral appliances made by another lab as I move forward. Ultimately, a waste of $780.

    We have been ordering from Great Lakes for a couple of years. Their customer service is great and so are their products. I would highly recommend this company for all your ortho needs!

    The splints I get back from Great Lakes consistently require minimal adjustments, especially the nylon splints. Everyone has always been helpful when I call with questions about a case. They aren't the fastest lab, but quality products require more time, and I always explain that to my patients.

    Great Lakes offers high quality materials and is an outstanding lab for our OFP and sleep appliances. The accurate fit and resulting efficiency at patient delivery appointments is a big plus. The quality is consistently superior to the other local labs we sometimes need to use. Excellent, informative customer service as well.

    Recently got a nylon sleep device from Great Lakes to help with my apnea that was prescribed from my dentist. It works pretty good so far! Sleep is great! Thanks

    I bought a Slash 2 3d printer from them. I have had a very hard time getting consistent and quality prints. They were very responsive in customer service to help me troubleshoot. Hopefully the problems were my fault and will be resolved

    My dentist purchased hawley retainers for me. For $700, they are very poor quality. The color I chose is not the color I received. Since they are not orthodontists, my dentist sent a scan with a tooth slightly out of place, from being out of the Invisalign for an hour. So my retainers came back with the tooth set in a crooked position- not really this company’s fault, but something to note. For supposedly having the retainer for 15 years, it would be nice for someone to have noticed this. The metal pieces were sharp and cut the inside of my cheek. The acrylic on the inside of my lower jaw has caused a sore. My dentist tried to file all of that down. The acrylic on the inside of the lower retainer is still causing a sore… how much can my dentist really keep filing down without loosing the integrity of the retainer? Anyway I should have just got invisalign retainers and not wasted the money.

    Customer service here is great. Everyone I talk to is very knowledgeable and reliable. We have worked with a lot of labs and I can you that is not the case with a lot of places.

    I cannot say enough about Great Lakes' customer service and support. After purchasing supplies from them for years, my orthodontic practice has now purchased several Trios scanners as well; their digital support is beyond amazing! Before buying the first scanner, myself and another of our assistants were able to spend a day at their facility demoing the scanner, and asking lots of questions prior to that purchase. Rich and Audrey were unbelievably helpful! Flash forward 3 years and they still continue to provide that same unparalleled support.

    Great Lakes Orthodontics offers an exceptional customer service. Lori Cable and Sean McPhail are the individuals who I have been directly working with. They go above and beyond to provide the best support to my clinic. I purchased a Trios scanner as well as a mini-start. I highly recommend GL ortho.

    Our office has worked with this company for 18+ years. I am especially grateful for Erasmo, he is always willing to help me get answers or get any issue we may have resolved in a timely manor. I have also attended a few of their on hands training to expand my experience working in our lab. Anyone thinking of taking these courses, don't hesitate! I would highly recommend this Orthodontic Company to anyone!

    Our team has worked with Erasmo for 5+ years and we do not have enough words to describe how much we enjoy working with him. He has always gone above and beyond for our office. He is great at what he does, timely, and a fantastic communicator. Erasmo has exceeded our expectations numerous times with the quality of his customer service and drive to help us, especially on time sensitive matters.     Great customer service, fast turnaround cannot complain about working with this company. Great Lakes Dental Technologies is far one of the most professional suppliers we work with. Kevin Marusewski has been our sales representative and let me tell you he is professional and courteous.     Our office has worked with Great Lakes Dental Tech for more than 15 years and I can not complain about them. The costumer service is really good and they will make sure you get the correct item you are needing. Prices are good and the quality of the products is outstanding! If you are wanting to get dental laboratory or orthodontics products give them a try, you won't regret!
