Very unhappy with this place. They had scheduled an appointment for my daughter for a cleaning, even though they already had one done a month prior. She needed tooth extraction and the only available was next year in May. They ignored us and booked her for a cleaning anyway. When we called to cancel the appointment we didn't even make ourselves, they still offered to get her an appointment in May of next year. As a dentist office, they should know better that when a child needs a tooth extraction, they can't wait so long. The whole process was really strange and painful. I would definitely stay away from this location, especially if you are bringing your child. They have no system of doing anything there, so why should anyone trust them?

We love this place. We come from far away, almost 40 minutes. But everyone is very kind and always gives him gifts. They explain what they are doing to you, what they are doing to you, they are very kind. Thanks!

Please do not bring your child here. I waited too long to post this but I have to share. I know itā€™s hard to find a pediatric dentist if you have state insurance. But please, save yourself and your child the trauma. Vibes are off as soon as you walk in the door. The waiting area and exam rooms/areas are dirty. Like, visibly dirty. I took a photo but canā€™t seem to find it to post. The entire office smells so strongly of air freshener itā€™s nauseating. My son was 4 during our first visit (his first dental visit ever) and while Dr. Winnie was kind when we saw her at our first and second cleaning, which is the only reason I brought him back to have a cavity filled, the assistants and person who actually came to do the filling were not. The X-rays were so stressful for him because he struggled with the bite wing as he has some motor function issues and he was very anxious and uncomfortable, and the person taking the X-rays got so frustrated with him not biting down properly. The sunglasses used to shield his eyes from the overhead light were so, so dirty. I had to call the office after leaving because no one gave me post visit instructions as far as how long to wait before drinking or eating. The third and final visit was really traumatic for my son. Youā€™d think he was the first child theyā€™d ever treated who was nervous about having a gas mask strapped to his face, a too large bite block crammed in his mouth followed by a drill+tools+suction, having instructions barked at him and being unable to hold his moms hand, nothing being explained to him, all the while assistants and front desk staff filtered in and out of the room the entire time, discussing how upset my son was and what theyā€™d order for lunch. No less than 5 people who were uninvolved with the procedure came in. We ended up leaving with a cavity drilled and then filled with a temporary filling and were told we should go to a specialist since they couldnā€™t finish the procedure. I donā€™t even know the name of the person was who did the ā€œprocedure,ā€ because they never introduced themselves or even said as much as ā€œhelloā€ before she just dove right in. We have friends and family in the dental field (unfortunately all out of state) who were horrified at the details and told me nothing about this office was normal or acceptable. Iā€™d sooner fill his cavities myself before I brought him back here.

What a horrible place. Staff seem to hate their jobs and the patients. The woman who cleaned my daughterā€™s teeth did not explain her about the after care and she was in a rush to quickly finish what she was doing. Constantly pushing her head back and forth with force. Donā€™t they have to be careful when working with kids? Just not a good experience overall.

I drove 45 min over here for them to tell me they donā€™t accept my insurance. I was like ā€œisnā€™t this something youā€™re suppose to double check with me when you call to schedule or confirm the appointment?ā€ The receptionist went on to say that she canā€™t just assume I have the same insurance or if thereā€™s been any changes. I told her that I understood that, but can she not look into the clientā€™s file and double check if and ask if thereā€™s any changes? She then said that sheā€™s only able to look into it on the day ofā€¦? She said my son didnā€™t have the same Medicaid plan and the insurance I have through work is HMO and Iā€™d need a referral, like what? Where am I going to get a referral from? Just for a cleaning. My son has been going there. If anything, she then said, they only accept PPO. Supposedly but double check with them. She could be new since Iā€™ve never seen her there before. They always have different receptionists. I can see why. Thereā€™s no organization. I drove 45 min out!! I donā€™t even want to give them a 1 star. I have had this same insurance, that they wouldnā€™t accept today, for a little over a year. So last time I was there, which was six months ago, it was accepted. Today it was a problem.

My experience at this dentist office was absolutely horrific and traumatizing for my three-year-old son. He is mildly autistic, and it was his first full-time going to the dentist. This is a pediatric office, so they should be aware on how to handle multiple types of kids. When my son would not fully cooperate, the dentist threw her hands up, kept sighing, kept smacking her teeth. At one point, she even tried to force him back down in the chair by pushing on his chest. I kept saying, ā€˜never mind weā€™ll do this another time heā€™s clearly not ready,ā€™ to which she kept ignoring, and getting louder and angrier with my son. These people are horrible. They also had his name spelled wrong, his date of birth wrong, and originally listed that he was a girl. Absolutely ruthless and neglectful and the dentists have no idea how to actually handle kids.

Not very professional! The office staff needs etiquette classes. Trying to get my son in for an appt due to tooth pain. We were disconnected on the call just as we were scheduling and when I called back, 5+ times, they hung up on my every time! Seriously? Answer the call, make the appt and move on with your day!!

I have brought my children here for 6 years... How everything has changed here... in the last year. The terrible assistants seem to be more focused on watching television šŸ“ŗ than paying attention to assisting the doctor... wow, terrible service since they changed the Doctors and the staff... apart from everything very dirty. They seem to hate being there. Very badly....
