I have my wedding here back in March 2023. The venue itself was beautiful! My husband and I had a Vintage Romance theme and this place checked all the boxes. One thing that made choosing this place easy was their preferred vendors. Shout out to both Tonya and DJ Chris Hudson! Tonya you made our wedding planning a breeze and helping tremendously with creating our vision. And DJ Chris Hudson you made our wedding memorable! Til this very day I still have my wedding guest tell me how much fun our wedding was! This would not be possible without you both! I also want to touch base on management at The highland Loft, Marilyn was very flexible with us visiting the loft when we needed to and with deposit collection. Last, but not least I want to praise our bartending service. They were amazing and very tentative, and the drinks were delicious. We overall cannot envision our wedding any other way! Thank you all for giving us our dream wedding!

As a Photographer ( Coss Creative ) I have to say, this is one of the best venue I have the pleasure & privilege to shoot. The staff is super helpful, the location is beautiful, the lighting is great. The couples are the best paired with this venue!

We knew The Highland Loft was going to be our venue when the elevator doors opened to their 3rd floor space. The hardwood floors, brick wall, and hanging lights are just some of the beautiful touches the venue has to offer. Communication with staff was great and the bar was one of our favorite parts on our big day! The apartment on site was also so convenient for the night before and the day of. We have received so many compliments on our wedding venue and how beautiful our day was and that is thanks to Marilyn and her team! It is a versatile space that you can make your own to make your day special!

Back in 2020 my now husband and I were looking for the perfect venue, with two very different thoughts in mind. After seeing 18 venues we knew the Highland Loft was the place when we the elevator doors opened. A large space with so many wonderful features unique to them. We got married on Dec 23, 2022- one of the coldest days in years, but they made sure everything was set. I used the apartment the night before and got ready there- highly recommend. There was a little confusion and organization issues leading up to our date due to us having such a long engagement and them changing some procedures. I thought of scoring perhaps a half star lower, but in the end nothing was so major or anything overlooked that didn't make our special day fantastic.

Marilyn is the venue owner and she personally did the original site interview with us and the one month out venue walk through. She is very responsive to questions and provides a very nice setting, decorations and venue. All of the decorations she allows her clients to utilize which was super helpful! She has a preferred caterer and bar staff who are both AMAZING! The space is so large and accommodating and we were able to have the ceremony, reception and dancing in different areas without having to rearrange the space or transfer chairs or items to the other space. The venue speaks for itself. It is also right by the river so you can go down to the river to take all of your pictures. You won't be disappointed if you choose this venue for your wedding.

Pros- good price point compared to other venues; everything in one location; day of coordinator helps move things along smoothly; they didn’t charge you for stupid little things like the gorgeous chairs (which most places do); venue is GORGEOUS which means decor/centerpieces can be kept super simple; great bar options; they had great recommendations for other vendors to use; can hold a lot of people in the space; SO MANY compliments from people who attended! Cons- They had just opened a second floor venue so they staggered the schedules per floor, which unfortunately meant that we could hear music from the second floor while people were doing our speeches. One of their recommended vendors was saying they’d communicate certain aspects of our plans to the venue and as someone who hasn’t been in this situation it seemed legit since they work so closely with the venue. Unfortunately these things didn’t get communicated. So make sure you personally reach out to the venue for everything, even if people say they will for you. We wanted to get ready at the venue so that the gorgeous atmosphere was in the pictures. Therefore we rented the apartment they offered. Seemed overpriced, but transferring our things from the apartment to the bridal suite seemed like the easier option day of which is why we did it. Unfortunately the time to exit the apartment was the exact same time we could enter the bridal suite. There really should be a crossover of time in order to be able to transfer all of the bridal party's things as we began transferring it when able to enter the suite, but this resulted in us getting out of the apartment “late” and the owner coming to nag at us to get out. Overall, would I recommend this venue? Heck yeah!! We had a wonderful wedding and everything went smoothly, the environment made for beautiful pictures, everyone had a great time and had nothing but great things to say.

We just had our NYE Wedding at Highland Loft and only have great things to say about this venue. From the beginning, Kiryn gave us our tour she was very calming and worked closely with us to ensure our timeline was perfect for our NYE wedding vision. We loved the third floor because the dance floor space is actually not in the middle of the space it's off to the side providing guests with the perfect atmosphere to freely dance and have fun without feeling on display, yet it still felt like part of the wedding venue. Kiryn also was our planner and helped us with our florals. She saved us tons of money on flowers and decorations, had a lot of great tips and she was so helpful on the day of and leading up to our wedding! The bar was fantastic as well. Highly recommend.

I don't know where to begin with how much we loved our venue. It was everything we imagined and wanted and MORE! The gorgeous brick walls and open space allowed your creativity to shine. The entire reception our guests raved about the beautiful venue. Marilyn was the most amazing person to work with. She answered every question we had (and we had a million), and was always willing to support us with anything we needed! The day of, the staff members were so helpful with making sure everything with smoothly. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue for any event you are having! It made our wedding day so special and memorable!
