Pretty cool place. It's a working dairy farm and you can go visit the cows. Great place to bring the kids. The sandwiches are excellent but pricey if you're going to feed the whole family. The cream cheese brownie was delicious.

Market with locally sourced products. Bakery with tempting treats to go with your coffee or to take home. Great sandwiches!

Wonderfully inviting with a very friendly staff. Delicious fresh and tasty pastries along with other yummy treats. The meats are fresh and a great value. You will be disappointed when you stop here

I'm a vegetarian and specifically ordered a burrito without egg and bacon. I ended up tasting it only to realize there was bacon in my food. I do understand that mistakes like this can happen and they didn't intend it, but the least they could've done is offer an apology. We also told them that they made a vegetarian eat meat for the first time. They just kept deflecting blame on the other staff member, and that staff member was nowhere to be seen. So at the end, a lifelong vegetarian ate meat, with no one to even apologize for it. Never coming back here.

Absolutely nothing better than a hike at skinner mountain followed by a BLT with avocado on rye and a glass of tea at Barstow’s, sitting on their porch watching the birds and cows, with the breeze going by.

There isn't enough good I can say about Barstows. This has been my go to spot for years now, my girlfriend and I pop in for lunch as often as we can and love hanging with the cows while we eat! Great sandwiches for lunch foods but the pastries and baked goods are what I love the most! This place is a must!

I go and get decaf coffee every Sunday after Church service. The cup of coffee is rich with just the right amount of cream. Much better tasting than the chain coffee shops, and the employee service is very welcoming and friendly.

I really enjoy the sandwiches here. They have a nice selection of pastries & some gluten free items. Fresh milk, meat & Cabot cheese, premade take & heat soups & pies. Friendly staff & exceptional customer service.

Barstow's has so much going for it. It's in a beautiful location which provides lovely, tranquil countryside views to many of its seats. The food has been great. (Sandwiches El Presidente and Roasted Red Pig are my favorites). They offer fresh, high quality desserts, coffees, and meats. I usually grab a sandwich and an apple cider, sit by the front windows and watch the cows, usually on my way to somewhere in the Hadley area. You pay, they give you a number which they call when your food is ready and choose your spot. Simple. There's really no negative I can say about it. The service is good (it was a little rougher maybe five years ago), the prices are good. They sell a variety of local gifts and goods like artistic greeting cards and t-shirts. The clientele are always nice & mellow. The outdoor seating area is pretty and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean, well-equipped and gender neutral. If you care about doing the right thing environmentally, you'll be glad to know they separate refuse into categories of recyclables, compostables, and trash. Even the parking lot is easy to get in & out of and feels very safe. Definitely a favorite stop of mine and one to which I've brought many new people.

Stopped by for a quick lunch. They have a lot of baked items and ice cream too. Indoor seating, patio seating, and picnic tables. Very nice green view, even better in the fall.

Must try. A small place at the farm where they sell decent sandwiches soup and other food. I really enjoyed their tomato soup and will be willing to revisit soon.

Delicious sandwiches! Warm and friendly service. The porch has a great view over farm fields and the Connecticut River.

Had them do a Halloween themed wedding cake. We'll done. Cake tasted great.

We stopped in because we drove by and we were hungry—and found such a great place! Art on the walls and local meat, milk, and vegetables as well as some truly delicious pie. We got to eat our sandwiches while watching out the windows to where the cows grazed. Peaceful, friendly, good prices and great food.

Fresh, homemade bake goods. Tasty sandwiches & wraps for breakfast & lunch too. Worth the trip.

I LOVE this place! Incredible deli foods and baked goods at an affordable price. Local beef, frozen meals, milk, ice cream, and even crafts are available! Local business with friendly staff and an inviting atmosphere. There is a lovely view of hills and cows from the restaurant and patio. A happy cow statue greeted me on my way in! I am a repeat customer and I will definitely be back. Please pay in cash if you can, as they are a small business and face thousands of dollars in credit card fees a year!

Great food. Love the view. The cows are adorable. Plenty of seating inside and out. Nice spot to stop for lunch after hiking the Summit House. Friendly staff.
