I would not eat here if you paid me a million pound. Its just another grotty chicken shop. Bring back Mr Kebabies the best kebab shop in town. We miss you John.

It's early days yet but this is a worthy successor to John's. The staff are welcoming without being over-friendly and efficient at taking your order. Food is cooked quickly to a high standard and served piping hot, which is all you can ask for. The chicken is good - a fine, tasty dredge with good quality meat, though the chips do need another thirty seconds in the fryer. Well worth your time as its added a long-missing ingredient to this part of town: delicious fried chicken. As for prices, they're perfect for the quality of the food, which is a far cry from the usual rubbish in such places. You should try for yourself, but if you see a 1* review, ignore it, and get you some good chicken. Edit: 10 months later, they haven't missed a beat - food is still as fresh, hot and tasty as the day it opened. Might head up there now...

Firstly, why are idiots giving it one star because it’s replaced a well-liked local Kebab shop? He told me he couldn’t continue because he wasn’t doing enough business and the rates were too high. If you loved him so much you should have eaten there more because every time I went in I was the only customer. Giving it a low rating without going there is fraudulent and unfair on a new business just starting out. The food at Chicken Experts is great and I will make it a weekly treat. The staff are friendly aswell and the place is spotless.

Mr Kebabies had been here since the 90s. His spicy potatoes were the stuff of legend and will be missed greatly. The Chicken Experts were nice and welcoming, with 50% off first night offer. Food was hot and plentiful but just like every other chicken place.

Found this little gem just next to my B&B. They said its the best chicken around and they didn't lie!!! Food was hot, cooked perfectly and for the half chicken meal with chips and a drink it's only £8.99!!! Cannot recommend enough. So since my first review, I've returned every night I stay which at the moment stands at 8, and the quality hasn't dropped 1 bit. It's just amazing

Delicious doner kebab. Like no other doner I have had before. Completely different texture and taste. The chilli sauce is very nice, not spicy, more sweet and goes really well with the meat. Salad was very nice and the pita was nice too. The guy was very chatty and friendly. The shop itself looks a bit terrible but dont let that put you off, we nearly didnt go in as it doesn't look nice. But seriously, you need to try this place. We will be back for more! Price is reasonable and on par with most kebab shops. I think you need to go early as things seem to sell out, we were there at about 9:30 saturday evening and there wasnt much left!

Tried today on opening day will definitely be returning can't wait to try curry sauce! The chicken wrap, chips and Halloumi was cooked to perfection and so fresh! Good luck with the opening 👍 Curry sauce amazing!

Great kebab love the chilli sauce and special southern fried potatoes. John is the nicest of guys, known since we were kids.

Chicken is bang average,staff are stupid and hang around in the back ignoring you. When they do eventually come they pretend to not hear what you order so you have to repeat it twice. £7.50 for 8 wings and chips and a coke is a disgrace won’t be coming back and I’d say to anyone else avoid. The boss needs to get a hearing aid and get on a treadmill also.

Stopped by for a quick burger. Absolutely excellent. Quick and friendly service too.

This is legit one of the best chicken shops in London. The food is incredible and the guy was even kind enough to call me with regards to my order. Other chicken shops you can go into and the consistency in quality of what you order will differ on a day to day basis. Not this place, the food is consistently top notch.

Wings were really nice, strips a little dry but flavour was nice! Rice was good, shame no chilli sauce in the delivery bag. Would recommend

I was a regular customer at Mr Kebabies and I miss John / Mehmet alot, but he has retired! I kind of wanted to be negative about the new business but I have to say on the two occasions I have bought food there, it has been pretty damn good! Just a couple of constructive criticisms: 1. I like my chicken quite moist, almost medium rare in steak terms! The second the meat has lost its pinkness, that is done for me. Maybe they could ask customers how they want their chicken cooked? 2. As someone who is trying to cut down on carbs, it would be good to have a meal option without fries and offering a really nice mixed salad instead?!

Nice food there. He is a great cook and learner. Speaks Cantonese fluently.

We thought we'd try a selection as everything's half price on their opening day and we are both very pleased, the chips were crunchy, the burger was huge and the chicken was immense and cooked well. The only thing that let it down was the wings which probably weren't that bad at all but got eclipsed by the rest of it 🍗 Going for the peri peri next visit 🇵🇹
