An absolute gem tucked away in Buckinghamshire. Sensible swim layout, no silly rules, great fish to go after, not expensive. Plenty of advice on tap from the bailiffs. Worth 48 hours of anyone's time. Not a runs water so if you're only after a bend in the rod it's not for you. 2 X 40s, multiple 30s and 20s.

Cant believe they have put up parking restrictions on land they dont use. Keep the neighbours happy. Well done

Had a pleasant first time on Heron Lake today. Bit of a bugger to find when you never been before, but once set up very enjoyable. About 5lb of roach on float fished maggot, the biggest to about 1.5lb. Great days sport.

Stop wasting your money and fish here, fantastic venue well kept well managed, two lakes child friendly under 12s fish free, carp to 50lb!! Otter fence all round the main lake Just a great place to fish

This lake is brilliant for a whole lake booking, if you need a social lake then is your place, well maintained with some beautiful fish although we didn't catch many. I could give you excuses, but I just call it fishing. Lodge with fridge, freezer and clean facilities. My only groan was the shower... the water runs out very quickly but it was clean which says a lot about a fishery! Well done bailiff's, you run a great fishery and hopefully be back at some point.

We hired heron for 2 days there was 4 of us and due to the layout it was socially a great success, toilets were good tables and chairs provided were a nice touch, we only caught 1 fish but the overall surroundings made up for it, We will certainly go back there and be more prepared, if you want a challenge and wonder surroundings I recommend this place

Very nice lakes we have fished both lakes a few times now, can be very hard but stunning fish so well worth it, owner very nice and really putting the effort in on these lakes, give it a go you wont be disappointed.

The bailiff is friendly and collects £7 for a day on the small lake which has been restocked and totally revamped. Good for roach and carp.

Nice area for a wander and fishermen were friendly so it was nice to stop for a chat with some of them :)
