This is definitely a five star place. It is located on the most beautiful side of Kauai and the whole area of Princeville is one big resort. The accommodation is beautiful and with stunning views it is hard to fault. There is so much to see on this side of the island, with wonderful food vendors, restaurants and cafes completing the picture.

This is the most miserable resort we have ever stayed in because none of the condos have AC and the damn roosters are everywhere so 7/24 you will hear them constantly crowing. These units all have jalousie windows so the noise level is constant from cars locking to constant roosters making obnoxious sounds day and night. Bring ear plugs if you are dumb enough to stay here. These time share units built in the 70’s are falling apart and I suspect termites are the cause. We see rotting wood around the building we are in and the wood fence around the pool could be pushed over it is so rotten.

Loved the location and the condo was modern. It was not the most well stock condo I've rented, but it worked out great. Even a great sea cave below at the oceans edge (10 minute hike) that was magical at sunrise and sunset just below building 4.

The price was good for our stay. Check out the walk down to a cave beach, and you might see a turtle. Great views off the cliffs. Easy access to Hanalei. The nearby grocery store was nice.

This is a beautiful hideaway! The staff is terrific and accommodating for your every need! The views are great from your lanai! Watch beautiful 🌅 sunrises and sunsets! See the mountains or partial ocean views. The appliances in the Timeshare part of the resort are all only a few years old (Whirlpool stainless steel). The floors are wood with carpets under the table and living area furniture. New washer/dryer combinations. 2 full baths (master bath has a rock floor & a regular or rain shower). Both bathes have great views out of the window 🪟! There is a nice pool and Jacuzzi (in locked area for use by Timeshare and residents only! Also 4 gas grills for you to use and take food back to your unit. No glass allowed in the pool area. The pool is open 9am-9 pm) There are 4 ⛱️ beach towels provided. Also a cooler to use for picnics at the wonderful beaches around the island! Enjoy the cool breezes coming through your windows, the sounds of the natural wildlife (including George the resident rooster 🐓!) and the memories you will have for the rest of your life from this heavenly place on the Garden Isle! People have asked about handicapped ♿ accessibility. You should call to see about downstairs unit availability with wheel chair ramps. There are not many! Also kid friendliness. There are no swings/playground equipment. Also adults must be directly supervising children in the pool and pool area at all times. And no one under 9 yrs old is allowed in the Jacuzzi.

The Alii Kai Resort was built way back in time. The buildings are lined up and resemble army barracks. I would not classify this as a resort. Has a basic motel pool and no other amenities for guest to experience. This would be a place for those who rather pay less for lodging.

Loved this place. Well kept, lovely landscaping. Steps being painted to add to excellent building care, beautiful views, lovely walking path around a golf course, with a fabulous mountain view as you walk.

They are all for the most part, nice condos to stay in! Can't beat the views!
