Love, love, love this restaurant!!! The dishes were so delicious and beautifully presented. I could tell the chef truly enjoys what he or she does, you can taste the love of cooking in all of the dishes. All the best I could say goes here. Thank you!

Despite a bit of drizzle on the patio, the atmosphere was great. Food was amazing! My family are not seafood lovers so whenever I get a chance to try something special, I do. This fit the bill perfectly. The Coconut curry soup was the perfect dish to start off the meal. I was expecting something Thai flavoured but it was more East Indian in nature... and not a bad thing either. The main dish was a seafood bisque with rice to throw in for good measure. I was amazed and impressed at how much seafood was in there, normally with dishes like this you end up chasing a solitary scallop around the bottom of your bowl with a spoon but here every spoon dip was a satisfactory smorgasbord of ocean treats. The sauce complimented perfectly and the rice brought everything together the ideal flavour delivery mechanism. Highly recommend.

We went for happy hour. The apps were large enough that three for two people made a meal. Now they weren't cheap but the quality was excellent. Then we wandered around the grounds and eventually watched the sunset. They valet parked us for free (ignoring the tips to the valet).

Service was exceptional. Food was okay. I’m Not sure that I would come back given there’s better tasting food on the island. The highlight of the meal was the coconut dessert.

My family liked the lumpia. The curry was very good but very rich; it was bigger than I needed. I liked my noodle dish! My neice loved her salad with beef. Service was good, waiter was attentive, just a little slow getting out food.

The dining experience was exquisite. We tried several of the appetizers. The pork belly bao buns had a unique design, but exceptional flavor. There was a slight crisp to the pork belly that complemented the soft bao bun perfectly. The bacon jam and picked vegetables elevated it so that every bite was incredibly flavorful. The oishi sushi was also very good. It was as good of a tempura covered sushi roll as I have gotten anywhere. The lavender honey crispy shrimp were also very flavorful. The sauce was quite tasty and the shrimp had an excellent crunch to them. I had the Korean braised short ribs. They were very tender with just the right amount of fat content. I added a tempura lobster tail with dipping sauces on the side, the pineapple sweet chile sauce was my favorite. We had malasadas filled with coconut ice cream for dessert, which were some of the best malasadas we had on the island. I will definitely be coming back here on my next trip to Maui.

Got the pleasure of going to Sunday brunch and let me tell you this place certainly did NOT disappoint. They offered food from 5 different cultures, and each and every one was on point. I apologize for not remembering the 5 different ones. My only complaint would have to be that no alcohol is included in your purchase, however juice, coffee, tea, milk, soda, all the other drinks are included in the price. Highly recommend this place to whomever might be on the fence. Was worth the price for sure.

Let's start off with I left messages with this restaurant twice and only got a call back one week later. Host was horrible, arrived and waited 10 minutes for host to show up, checked in and then waited for another 30 min before we went back up and then she was like oh yeah I can seat you now. Slow service, starter, one of us had bites of veggies in the bisque, other bisque was just liquid, one had huge peel of onion skin in it, pupus were served cold to luke warm, tasty but not great at the temperature they were served to us. Main course, one had lobster which was really good but served with white rice, come on, how bland and boring and also served with asparagus which was not treated with anything - a little salt, but definitely needed butter, hollandaise, garlic, parmesan, something!! So bizarre to eat at a nice/pricey restaurant and have flavorless food served. The short rib plate was good all around. The chocolate cake was horrible, didn't taste like chocolate. If you would have served me a piece of Costco tuxedo chocolate cake, I would have eaten the whole thing. I didn't bother eating but a few bites, not yummy in the least. Unfortunately, our server was nothing memorable. Overpriced for sure.

We had the most amazing dinner to celebrate our honeymoon! We came to Ko because of the menu and the food was better than expected. The service however blew us a way. Sylvia (hostess) read my wife’s notes for the reservation and sat us in the best table to enjoy the sunset. Christina (waitress) was so hospitable and wonderful to talk to. She took time out of her work to take pictures of us and really made the night memorable. Roland (buser) was on top of our water glasses and empty plates all night. He was also enjoyable to talk with and provided lots of helpful tips about places on the Island. Overall, the mixture of service and food was above and beyond what we expect from a restaurant these days. I would recommend Ko to anyone who is coming to Maui.

Open air tables around a court yard with torches. Wait staff was pleasant and knowledgeable. Food very good. Appetizer of lumpia with chili sauce not too spicy. Lau Lau seafood was steamed perfectly with fish (Mahi Mahi), shrimp and scallops flavors coming through. Cocktails imaginative. Wine list covers the hemispheres.

Wow so good! The zurzuela portion was huge and so savory and delicious. The pork chop was also very flavorful. We were both really hungry, but getting the macadamia shrimp appetizer was a bit over the top, especially considering the yummy taro sweet bread and cracker bread service. Any visitors must get the pineapple crème brûlée. Amazing presentation and taste. Our host was so welcoming and Corrine was a stellar and attentive server. Highly recommended!

An exceptional place. They are quick to greet, fast to serve drinks, lets you take your time ordering, spaces courses perfectly, the food is way beyond acceptable. See the photos. We strongly recommend this place! You can’t go wrong!

The Very Best Place we are at in Maui! Everything was awesome from the beginning to the end. We informed the restaurant it was our honeymoon so they added cute little heart sticks on our food and added a “congratulations” plate on our desert. Service is what we appreciated the most: Christina was our server and she really stood out: got everything as we wanted (share plates) she walked us through the menu and really was in a great celebrating need with us! We really appreciated it! We met the manager he was super nice as well! Food is beyond delicious: food was absolutely incredible and matches the standards of the best restaurants in Europe or the US. We live sur so much we came back to try the lobster on our last night! Don’t miss it! It’s really worth it! Thanks to the whole team for making us feel so special for our celebration.

The food is tasty but the portions are somewhat small. The ambiance is nice but there is no view (just the swimming pool). The service was top-notch. It is very posh!

Lavender honey shrimp - lightly and perfectly breaded: lots of lightly sweetened fresh lavender flavor. The catch of the day was fresh and wonderful served with macadamia but pesto and asparagus. And the seafood Lau Lau was delicious! Broth was coconut flavored and nicely rich

We live in Maui and Ko is a spot we enjoy for upscale date night. The food is always delicious with great service. Ko is located inside the Fairmont hotel, which is one of my favorites in Maui. Great local sourcing of food. The bone-in ribeye is fantastic and it is also really nice they have daily rotating specials. They offer 25% local discount with state ID.

Great food and service. Wish there was some sort of bug repellent. Try their deserts - amazing. Worth the trip to and would highly recommend.

The atmosphere, service, and food quality were all incredible. We loved our time at Kō and wish we could eat here all the time! We were visiting Maui from Pennsylvania and were told we had to try this place. We made sure to book our reservations several months in advance and it was more than worth the wait. The front house hostess was so sweet and efficient. She personally thanked us for coming to visit Kō, even though we weren’t staying at the Fairmont, which was so nice of her. Ryan (I think that’s his name) was our server and did an outstanding job of making recommendations. He seemed so genuinely happy to be there and was telling us all the things he loved about Maui. And then the food; It was delicious, creative, and filled with so much aloha. We wanted to try very traditional Polynesian food, so Ryan recommended the laulau with poi. Let’s just say it was easily one of the most amazing fish dishes we’ve ever had in our lives. The flavors were so rich, warm, and satisfying. You can really tell how the chefs pour their love for creating and Hawaiian culture into their work. It was such a special experience for us on our honeymoon and we will never forget it. Mahalo nui loa to Kō for everything!

We absolutely loved the entire experience at Ko in the Fairmont hotel. I appreciate that the Fairmont offers free self parking which is rare in this area of Maui. The restaurant staff and our waiter was passionate about the menu and offered plenty of guidance. We loved all of the starter dishes we tried and felt the main course were satisfactory. I would definitely visit Ko again, but next time I would only order starters and skip the main course. You could easily fill up on the appetizers and felt they were more creative and enjoyable.

Our experience was amazing! My husband planned a private dinner for our 19th year wedding anniversary. We brought our two boys to celebrate with us. The dinner experience was well thought out! The food and service were excellent, and the staff was very welcoming and attentive. They were super accommodating to the little ones as well, which was sweet. Delicious food. Friendly staff. Highly recommend! Will definitely do this again. Mahalo!

We were here for our anniversary dinner and it was the best food we had in MAUI. Even for a vegetarian like myself there were a lot of options. Taste was out of the world. 11/10 for the service. Would definitely visit this place again .. and would recommend to anyone who is in the area..

The food was fantastic and Brandon our server was outstanding, welcoming and knowledgeable. He rates a 5!!!!! The ambience was romantic and beautiful and rates a 5!!!! The 3 rating is because we were snub when we initially arrived. The place was basically empty with the exception of the bar;which was filled w/ 20 or so patrons due to the super bowl. (We'd just gotten off of an 11 hr airplane trip ,jetlagged and hungry...not mention excited to be in Maui) We were patrons of the hotel and were turned away for locals who were not present but said to have a reservation. They told us they were booked and we'd need to use OpenTable to try and book for another day and if we were lucky we might get a spot. We'd just arrived in Hawaii as guest of the FAIRMONT and this was our initial dining experience. We addressed this with our concierge Ron at the Fairmont and he called and got us a table. When we arrived back an hour or so later there were only 10 others dining....we were there for 90 mins and during that time the place never filled up.. Booked...I THINK NOT!!!! We understand that reservations were required but the issue was we could see that they in fact weren't booked. My suggestion would be to allow Resort guests to book reservations with booking their stay, this would cut down on frustration and disappointment .

We had an incredible experience here on our last night on the island. We were able to get a table outside for two with premium sunset viewing without a reservation (around 5:15pm). Leanne (our server) was busy, but very attentive and a good photographer for our sunset couple shot. The Ahi on a rock was great and a fun experience to sear your own fish. The flat iron Kobe beef was very flavorful and a great choice. The seafood Lau Lau was excellent! And the Molokai sweet potato mash was an awesome addition. The lemongrass coconut broth was great! We did receive the incorrect dessert, but it was our number two choice so it was not an unpleasant surprise. It was lillikoi cheesecake and delicious. The mocktails we're also great. Thanks for a great experience. We highly recommend
