We decided to make a trip to Siesta Key Beach and it was beautiful! After our day in the sun, my daughters wanted ice cream. I looked up local ice cream shops in the area and came across Jake’s. It was delicious! It’s homemade and they have the option to try the various flavors. They top off your scoop with a piece of waffle cone. If you’re in the area, I definitely recommend!

Would leave six stars if it was available! The ice cream was amazing! The generosity of the owner was amazing would highly recommend to stop by and try, you will not regret it!

First Timers Here!! We love homemade ice cream &&&& this is the place to visit!! Cute location &&& as soon as you walk in……all the employees(including Jake) offer a warm & inviting welcome!! Then…..the free tasting begins with a small description of what it should taste like, how it was made &&& possibly a change of heart of the flavor typically that you would chose. Prices reflected the love put into the flavors & creations of his ice cream. Would definitely return!! Thanks Jake & not from State-farm either!! Made my family very happy!!!

We recently visited Jake's Icream and our entire family agreed that it was the best ice cream we ever had. That's saying something from two people who sneak ice cream almost every night once the kids go to bed. Not to mention, my son thought it was extremely cool to find an ice cream shop with his name on the front. Other than having absolutely amazing ice cream, we were floored by the professionalism of the staff, and their willingness to go the extra mile. My son has a severe peanut and tree nut allergy which always gives us anxiety when visiting places that regularly use nuts in their food. The staff was extremely friendly with my son and took the extra steps to ensure his safety when wanting to try multiple flavors.

This place is next level. If you’re looking for the best ice cream you’ve ever had, scooped by the most passionate maker himself then you should go here. It’s a whole experience.

Probably - actually definitely the best ice cream I’ve ever had. My goodness it was delicious. The serving sizes aren’t huge per say, but they pack a flavourful creamy goodness party in your mouth. I’ve never had creamier ice cream. So. Good. It’s a must try on this island.

One of our go to ice cream spots when visiting Siesta Key. Their homemade ice cream hits the spot on those hot summer days. The staff is very friendly. They have a plethora of flavors to make everyone in the family happy. Definitely recommend stopping in and enjoying some homemade scoops.

I moved to the US two years ago from Europe and this is hands down the best ice cream I ever had in the US. Even better than most ice cream I had in Italy. Great variety of flavor and large scoops. Highly recommend!
