We stayed in the Honey Bee Loft. I love that it was on the top floor and so cute and clean. The host, Austin, was very welcoming and helpful via text, which I prefer 😊 Location is GREAT as it is walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars. We ate at Owens Fish Camp which is only 400 feet away. I really recommend having a bourbon in the upstairs of The Gator Bar with Sean the bartender. If you enjoy staying in places that are different from the chains I recommend this for you. Trip typeCouple

Located a short walk from downtown and the marina, Burns Square is an ideal place for the chic traveler! Excellent nearby selections of restaurants, art, night life, views, and transportation. The Grapefruit room qas quite generous, a small apartment with all the amenities! Great internet connection, too.

This place is not only amazing but it is so comfortable and cute! I was in town for a metaphysical event down the road this weekend and I needed a place to stay that was within my budget. I found this charm available on the internet and jumped on it. They answered all my questions quickly and effectively through text as they were not available by phone and even though I never had a chance to meet them face to face, I must say their customer service was amazing! I had told them that I would be coming in late, much later than office hours so to speak and they arranged with me everything very easily so that I could have access without bothering anyone. Surrounding area is beautiful and this building has a charm all its own. Our room has a feel and a look of being old with a mix of modern in a way, I lack The proper terminology for it. From the top comforter piece that reminded me of one I used to have at my grandmother's as a child to the writing table in the bedroom as well as the bench at the foot of the bed, each having a touch of vintage to it. To the more modernized living room area and kitchen with little pieces here and there that kind of have a an old world meets new world type feel. The room was just the cutest! The building and area is quite peaceful. Afternoon or evening strolls even morning strolls if you prefer that time of the day are going to be excellent to those who wish to take the area up on that. There's an eatery/bar right downstairs and a few other businesses downstairs. If I'm back in town which I know I will be I will definitely be adding this to my roster of places to stay! Austin you were amazing! Thanks for answering my questions!

A truly unique place to enjoy Sarasota. The rooms are full of character and charm which extends to the surrounding neighborhood. You'll find yourself enchanted by the creativity of world renowned artists that literally brings the walls, sidewalks and streets to life. The facilities are great including comfortable beds, clean living spaces and bathrooms. There are some wonderful restaurants that are within walking distance and easy to access transportation to the beach. I highly recommend experiencing this special place along the gulf coast.

This was our second stay, and we'll definitely be back. We stayed in the Grapefruit Room this time and thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations, being so close to downtown fir New Years, Owens Fish Camp!, and Deborah's amazing flexibility with our last minute request. Do yourself a favor and visit Burns Square!

Comfortable stay. It is a comfy apartment. Austin was very informative via text during our stay. Would definitely recommend staying there. Was a little hard to find and the coded entry on Pinapple Street was not working while we stayed. Other than that, wonderful! Thanks

I recently stayed at Burns Square Historic Vacation Rentals, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The property is beautifully maintained and has all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. The location is perfect, in the heart of the historic district, close to all the restaurants and shops. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, and they went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The rental itself was clean, spacious, and well-appointed. I highly recommend Burns Square Historic Vacation Rentals to anyone visiting the area. It truly made for a memorable vacation. 5 stars!

This is the only place I'll ever stay in Sarasota. The building is gorgeous and the unit was decorated beautifully with antique furniture and lots of homey touches like cute blankets and throw pillows. The place was spotless, and the kitchen was big enough to cook meals in and already stocked with basics like oil, spices etc. It's in a quiet spot but also close enough to everything that you can skip the car for your entire vacation if you want. Definitely recommend!

Airbnb Review by Alyssa, Sunset Suite: Clean, beautiful apartment in downtown Sarasota. It had everything we needed from towels to coffee. Walking distance to many shops, restaurants, and the Ritz. Highly recommend this Airbnb

Wow, what a beautiful place! Sarasota is a wonderful town and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at these vacation rentals. They're right in the prettiest part of the town, and close to everything. The Italian restaurant downstairs is great too. The room was much bigger than I expected. It was spotlessly clean, and really nicely decorated. The kitchen and bathroom were both well-stocked with everything we needed. The place is quiet at night, as it's away from the bars and late-night spots. Really enjoyed the yoga studio next door, and the coffee shop across the street - together they make for a great start to the day.

Loved my stay at Burns...great location, I walked to downtown -Main Street. There is now a Trolley on Main Street and it takes people to St. Armands. Fun. My room was cute and so clean.

The apartment at Burns Court was a delight . There are several good bars and restaurants within walking distance. If you like a little bit of history with your beach vacation then this is the place. Denise is very involved in Sarasota and specifically the Burns Court area and she responded promptly to all of out inquiries. We would not hesitate to stay here on a return visit.

The location was perfect and the neighborhood was quaint and charming. The apartment itself was just right for our weekend getaway and within walking or biking distance of everything we wanted to do. There are many good restaurants in the area. The only caveat was that the WiFi was spotty. Otherwise everything was great: security, cleanliness, amenities and very good communication with the host.

Nice location. Manager/owner tries hard, but missed marking our room so we could identify it on arrival. Blazing hot in the entry area - almost unbearable to walk through. Trash room poorly marked. Downstairs restaurant/bar is very good, and for breakfast there is a nice place across the street. Sarasota is way over priced, so this is a good option compared to $400/night or higher at the beach. None of the stupid amenity/parking/internet fees that the chain hotels are sneaking into your bill. Local lodging taxes are also high.
