We stumbled upon this gem of a place and immediately went back the following day. Every single dish we ordered was amazing. I even ordered additional dishes just to try them! Seriously great food and the service is offered with smiles and no request is an inconvenience. When you have such a happy staff, the indication is that the establishment is well run. Kudos! We met the lovely owners and they shared the history of this fun, eclectic, Key West style dining establishment. The hours are limited (7am-2pm) so plan ahead, but the menu offers so many classics with a few twists and turns and things you would never expect. So good! The cherry on top is the ladies boutique next door. The owner and staff are so gracious and so helpful with zero pressure to buy (although I did make purchases both days!) Beautiful selection of relaxed, yet sophisticated clothing styles at great prices. We are so happy to discover Sweet Sage Cafe and Boutique!

The best! The decor is unique, eclectic and always a delight. The owner, John, is a great guy and always keeps things humming along. Food is delicious and my wife said it was the best hollandaise sauce she has ever had. And don’t forget the Bloody Mary! So good! Thank you John and team for another great dining experience!

Eating here is a must if you are in the area. The food was fresh and well made. The service was friendly and welcoming. The place is so colorful green and just bright. The outdoor seating really makes you fell like you are eating in someones backyard. This garden look, the signs the drinks were all amazing. We drove over an hour to eat here. It was well worth the drive.

By far my favorite breakfast place in the area! My main reason is because they are extremely dog friendly (offering a menu even for my dogs). Thank you for this! In terms of food: The Eggs Benedict and "Oink - Oink" (biscuits & gravy) Benedict is absolutely delicious. Great pricing, environment and service. 5/5 recommend!

This place is special. It is fairly small so there are wait times for a table. It’s associated with a shop next door so you can do some shopping while you wait. I had been looking for a breakfast place that does Granola, yoghurt, and fresh fruit and the Sweet Sage did that very well! Not quite enough Granola inside the bowl so I asked our server for a little bit more and she quickly brought me some. We will be back next year.

What a neat place to eat! Sit outside if you can! It's a little oasis with lots of knick knacks and tons of plants and trees! There was a crowd of people outside, so we expected a 30 min wait but we got in relatively fast as a party of 2. The portions were perfect (not too big) and the prices were great. Lots of options on the menu for food AND drinks. OUR server was GREAT!

Cool breakfast place with so much to see and the food! There's the cafe and boutique gift shop and a beautiful outdoor garden that caters to your four legged friends. We have a fun time reading all the signs while waiting for our breakfast. Eggs bene was delicious and light. All at our table enjoyed their meal. Parking is a little tight but we were able to get in the back lot with no problem.

This place is super cute, the staff are super friendly and the food is delicious! I really like the vibe here, it’s very green and it honestly reminds me of my grandma. Will definitely be back whenever in Indian Shores!

I always wanted to go into this cafe, every time I passed by on my way to work. When the time came, I was struck by its vibrant colors and full parking lot. I discovered that people line up to eat outside in their gardens, especially these days in October with this favorable weather. However, although we had to wait to be seated, it was a 5 minute wait. The decoration is chaotically organized and the best thing is that they accept dogs :) As for the breakfast, I can't say the same, a little salty, nothing special. They don't have fresh orange juice and the coffee is not the best.

A great little place! I personally love to see unique breakfast items that don’t involve eggs (though they definitely have lots of unique egg options as well)! Loved the crepes and everyone else was happy with their meal. Super fun atmosphere and excellent service.

I don't think that I have been to a restaurant that has been as stimulating as this one. The food was amazing. The people were so much fun with good humor and great attitudes. The atmosphere will leave you entertained. This is definitely a place everyone should visit once.

We had to wait a little while before we could come in, but it was absolutely worth the wait! We sat outside and it was so nice, they had blowers on because it was very warm. The decorations are fantastic! The food even more so! Service was very friendly! Really pleased we came with our family!

Visited this cafe on vacation and it was an exceptional dining experience you cannot miss out on! Wonderful service, food, decorations, and atmosphere. We sat outside under the cutest canopy/gazebo. Misting fans kept us comfortable in the Florida heat. Adorable decorations, and hilarious signage. Our food tasted great, delicious coffee drinks, and one of the best dirty chai teas ive ever had. Bonus- a wonderful boutique for the ladies to shop in!

Such a great place for breakfast! The breakfast crab cake and the blueberry crepes are to die for! Everything was made perfectly, presentation and everything even with it being take out. The inside of the restaurant has little souvenirs you can buy along with other items. The wait for food was about 25mins and it was actually done a little before that. The got all of our orders correct and it was soooooo good!!!

Nothing but 5 stars from me! This place is a GEM! The vibe is so great here, extremely friendly people and hilarious decor/ menu! This is a MUST when visiting! Also, the food was delicious. I got the babs beach bowl + iced hazelnut latte.

We had a very nice breakfast this morning at Sweet Sage. All of our meals were very tasty and plenty of food in each of them. Our server was great and the atmosphere was really cool. Next time we’ll sit outside in their patio area. We were early so we had no wait, but it filled quickly. The owners do a nice job of keeping things moving and talking with us and other customers.

I took my daughter here to have mother/daughter date and I must say I wasn't disappointed. The parking can be challenging and I had to wait about 30 minutes to get a table but that's on a good day because sometimes it's can an hour or more wait. My daughter and I sat outside. The atmosphere is relaxing and nice. Our waitress was attentive and we didn't have to ask or remind her for anything because she was on her A game lol. It was a few minutes to wait for food but not to long. The food prices are reasonable and the menu is kids and dog friendly there's something for everyone. I'll definitely be back in the future.

Such a cute breakfast spot! I wanted to come because I heard it was dog friendly and it definitely is. We waited about 30 min for a table and from there our service was phenomenal. The outdoor seating is so fun and they have lots of strong fans to keep you cool. They have a great breakfast menu and even a doggy menu! My partner and I both got the 4x4 with a side of their hot apples (YUM!) and my pup got some biscuits and gravy with eggs which he loved. We also had a smoothie and some mimosas, both very yummy! All great at a great price, we’ll be back!

This is such an enchanting place.....sooo many little fun details everywhere! Each dining nook has its own unique charm! Food is delicious with friendly, attentive service! Dog friendly with a large dog menu that has adorable entree names, very creative!

Love this place for breakfast and brunch! We had a scrambler with hash browns, a creamsicle with rum, a southern chicken biscuit, and waffle daffle. We loved everything we ate and the service was awesome. We were extremely impressed, especially with the quality of food and the price we paid for all of it. We’ll definitely be visiting again when we come back to Madeira Beach.

This restaurant has a certain aesthetic that goes well with beach lifestyle. You are seated in the back yard in the shade of the trees. It’s cool back there and there’s plenty of room. I got the biscuits and gravy and I thoroughly enjoyed them. The bacon was cooked to perfection, and the gravy was flavorful and went well on the freshly made biscuits. The Biscuits were very good and the hash browns were great. They were even better with the gravy on it. I’m glad I tried this.

Sweet Sage Cafe is one of the coolest restaurants I’ve ever visited! The food and drinks are absolutely delicious. The vibes are immaculate and everything is so unique. This is also a dog friendly establishment with a menu just for your furry friend. Love it!

Food here is not 5 star but it is really good and very reasonably priced! The restaurant is so clean, they have a beautiful outside dining area, and the staff are always very friendly. Service is always great here. This is one of my favorite local restaurants to go have lunch during work. I love having my lunch here outside, where I can soak in all the art & beauty. My spirit always finds peace and happiness here while I nourish my body! <3

Had a good time! Was a bit of a wait but I enjoyed my food, sadly my friends did not. Our waitress was very nice and she was very attentive to what we needed. I recommend specifically asking for outside if you want to be around pretty scenery, the inside is just full of stuff they’re trying to sell.

I really wanted to love this place. I was told so many amazing things about it. The atmosphere and service is absolutely amazing which is where the stars come in but unfortunately we just were not a fan of the food in any way. I got the tomato basil melt but it had way too much basil and it was verrryy salty. My husband had the roast beef melt and it was actually so salty he couldn’t eat it. He ate one single bite and we took it home. The pistachio muffin was good, th cappuccino was not, however. If we go back, it would be because the atmosphere was breathtaking and so much fun! My toddler LOVED exploring but maybe we would just order something simple from the breakfast menu and ask for no salt added? Really adorable place though

Busy but so organized you do not mind the wait. Lots of benches too. Delicious food and so interesting. I had a sort of benny… potato skin grilled with sausage patties and mounds of scrambled eggs topped with homemade sausage gravy. Wow! Gift shop and breakfast cocktail bar if you like in an outdoor little bar!
