If you're looking for a more wonderful human being for a host than Helen,you won't find one. She is honestly the best, and her two girls are so adorable, kind, smart, and helpful! Our cottage was beautiful and very comfortable. Will easily fit a family or multiple couples (three double beds). One of my extra favourite things there are the animals on the property. Three incredibly sweet dogs; Benji, Aslan, and Rain. And their three gentle and affectionate cats; Oliver, Nebula and Toby. Oliver is particularly sweet, and if you're a cat person, Oliver would love to stay with you and cuddle you all night on the bed. All in all, 10/10. Thank you so much, Helen! Helen's created a magical vibe here - experience magical sunrises (and full moon rises if you time it right!). Very well equipped kitchen, excellent serenity! So long as visitors recognize that you are knowingly going into a farm vibe they'll get much more than they expect, the fresh chicken eggs are well worth the pleasant clucking! Comfortable beds, very effective fire place + cozy atmosphere. Helen's meals are out of this world... even her vegetarian option blew my son away!

It was so lovely to visit Helen's magical place again and to share it with my aunt and gran. We stayed in both the den and cabin and loved both! Beautiful space, best hosts and awesome time! Thank you so much Helen.

We spend 4 nights in the Fox Den. It was warm, cozy and inviting. Helen and her children are delightful and we felt perfectly at home. I will definitely be returning. And because of solar energy there was no loadshedding!

I had such a wonderful time at the Wild Fox Hill. The space gives a traditional Xhosa hut feel but with modern amenities for your comfort. The view from the porch is beautiful and tranquil. Her pets are so friendly and calm. Helen really goes out of her way to make her guest feel welcomed and taken care of. I would definitely visit again.

Very beautiful setting, stunning view across the farm valley with mountains in the distance. Lovely quiet atmosphere. Fox Den is tastefully decorated and comfortable. The gas heater on colder evenings really helped!

We loved our 1 night stay at the fox den eco cabin - it felt magical! Loved the creative details in the design of the eco cabin - the space was beautiful, but also very comfortable. Helen was a gracious hostess, and she helped us to discover the best things to do in Hogsback in the short time we had. My only regret was that we couldn’t stay an extra night.

Wild fox hill is such a beautiful escape, it has peaceful scenery and has good amenities such as electricity, wifi and strong network connection. The owner was also such as great host, friendly and helpful. Definitely staying here again.
