Great tasting burgers. Fast very fast service. Would have loved a basket on the vehicle window instead of a box but that's just me. They say you haven't experienced East London if you haven't tried a Windmill Burger and chips and now I now why. Will be back! Awesome experience

In terms of Roadhouses this ticks most boxes. If you're in the mood for generous portions and not too concerned about the waist line then this is probably the place you want to go. Wide menu selection, food was good and milkshakes went down well. Alot of parking and staff are on-the-ball here when it comes to service. Not much to complain or rave about. They have a decent variety kids menu too.

If you are looking for some good food at anytime. Windmill Roadhouse is a safe bet. The couples burger is definitely a winner. The 1/4 chicken was underwhelming compared to the couples burger. Would definitely recommend Windmill if you need food, quick.

I really enjoyed the burger. I had the mushroom and cheese burger. The mushrooms weren't exactly to my liking but the patty was perfect. And the bin was buttered and toasted perfectly. The chips were also good. Good food, good service and not badly priced.

Its a stone throw away from the beach. It's situated in a beautiful town called East London in the Eastern Cape in beachfront. The traffic is almost none on a daily basis. The Windmill is known for its classic burgers and icecream. The vibe is very laid back . Love the town and the city.

Ordered pizza for collection. It was extremely busy, took us a while to get in. Gents are always 👌energetic, quick, helpful. The kids really enjoy their pizza so it's always worth the wait. They have the best hot chips and milkshakes. You just have to try it out!!!

This is a great setup. As you pull in the parking the waiters rush to your vehicle with menus and the days specials, all ready to take your order. Great food, great atmosphere and super service

Food is PERFECT. I don't say this lightly, literally EVERYTHING on the menu is good. Haven't been disappointed once in the past 12 years. Highly recommend Windmill Roadhouse👌

Very nice location and fast service. Really friendly staff and helpful. Beautiful setting close to the ocean and a nice view. We had a chicken and mayo toasty and chicken strips. The mayo was very overpowering and the chips was not cooked long enough it really looked tasteless so white it was. The Milkshakes was really good and I can recommend them.

They could improve a lot on their customer service from management side, otherwise a lovely place. It's like a phenomenon.

Recently went back after not visiting here for a while after a terrible experience. Pleased to say I got what I expected this time around. Glad those issues are gone, can still recommend 10/10

It was Good. Its actually a very great place to wait for your bus in East London. Even if you arrive till later the station is always open. And its safe security is guaranteed.

Exceptional food. Was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and delicious food. Definitely try the Nacho Pizza. Would recommend this as a must stop when visiting the area.

What an amazing place. We ordered a dagwood meal and a cheeseburger meal and it was exceptional. The service was excellent and quick. First time eating there and it won't be my last either.

I like the fact that they've got enough space for Car parking and the waiters are very fast and friendly.

Nothing quite like a Windmill burger! The Windmill is definitely a must when visiting East London. Friendly and fast service. Decent portions - value for money. We enjoyed sitting outside by the tables under the trees. Thank you for a super treat 💖

Food is never great here anymore but today took the cake. The cream cheese on the burger was like someone had accidentally dropped a bucket. Burger was wet and soggy with sauce🤮🤮 like come on guys, you can't be serious. I couldn't even finish the meal. 0/5 if I could.

Amazing that this place is still going! Established in 1946, it will probably still be around in 2046. It has grown substantially since I knew it in the 80s and 90s. The service is good, waiters coming to your car. The range of burgers is amazing and the portions are very generous. It won't make my top 10 burger places, but the setting and the nostalgia of the place makes it a very worthwhile visit when in East London. For reference, I had the cheese melt burger and my mom had the chicken fillet burger. Hers was far nicer than mine, simply because the cheese sauce was a bit overwhelming.

Really good food, as always. Runners taking the orders are efficient and friendly. Parking sucks, you need more space in front (buy out Holiday Inn), or concentrate on getting more attention to the back parking (vamp it up). The caos costs you potential sales.

Delicious food at reasonable prices. Fantastic service, had a problem with our delivery last week and Andrew sorted it out immediately and even followed up to check if everything was ok. Great service is rare in South Africa.

Their service delivery is OK, not perfect but okay. However, I feel like they don't put effort into their meal and representation. I've never enjoyed their food and they don't even put effort into dishing up the food in an appetizing way. 😒 so for me this place is a NO

I usually do a take out, what is amazing about it is the fact that you order from your car and the foid is delivered to you, they also bring the speed point to you. Today I went to have a glass of wine while waiting for my bus, the service was amazing, the views were beautiful and the atmosphere was amazing especially because I had beautiful sea views.

Love this place. Stunning curry and rice. Toasted sandwiches are amazing. The slap chips are the best in town and believe me they are not shy with the fillings in sarmies and burgers. Yum yum yum milo to die for. Deliciousness 😋

We ordered toasted bacon and cheese sandwiches. It was loaded with so many strips of yummy bacon and cheeziness. Really a pleasant surprise because in most places, the bacon is usually a thin, sad layer. The only downer was that our order took unusually long (maybe because of all the bacon they had to fry.lol)

Awesome food, fast service and delivery. Only issue was they didn't listen to my instructions to not add a food type that I have an allergy to. Manager did however provide us with a correct replacement and a free single meal

We bought two tubs of curry this evening. Your food is usually very good, but there was so much salt in the curry, that we could not eat it, and it ended in the rubbish bin.
