When you walk into Silver eagle. You are greeted with the warm interior of a place which takes you back a few years as a kid. Who remembers the Milkshakes and kiddies meals now for your kids? The menu consists mostly of meats. I would like to see more viriety of pizza's and desserts. We are thinking of having our little one's party here as this has always been a great place for kids to enjoy. There is a play area up stairs so that kids leave the adults to chat. Alcohol and Cooldrinks are on offer.

I would get this Zero stars if I could. Absolutely hated the service here today. Walked in and not acknowledged by any of the staff as they simply stared at me and my family. We got ourselves seated and no one bothered to offer us help or wait on our table. I even put my hand up to signal needing help and a few of them stared at us again and simply looked away, I saw a waiter staring back at me several times and eventually walking away to the back not helping us. After 5 to 10 minutes we left and many of the staff heard us complaining as we left and didn't care to ask if we'd been helped. The lady at the front desk simply asked us if we paid as we left, I was annoyed because what am I to pay if they didn't bother to even seat us when we walked in. The service and attitude of the staff is simply appalling especially since it wasn't full at the restaurant. Will not be returning here again. Very disappointed at how nonchalant the staff is and doesn't at least have the decency to acknowledged us or let us know someone will be with us soon. HORRIBLE!!!!!

We won't be back... Maybe after that pandemic....? It's a huge restaurant, if say 5 or six different sections, all closed except 2. So anyone who comes have to sit right up next to each other, no distancing! Completely not pram friendly! Think they don't quite understand the social distancing thing, otherwise staff are too lazy to santise all the tables and would rather you sit close to one another and catch covid. Was so looking forward to those onion rings for so long!!! Had to walk out... Guido's was fantastic though!

Love this Spur. Not the first time we've been. Never dissapointed. We has a crumbed mushroom and calamari starter and for mains we had the famous chedamelt burger and hot nachos. It was delicious. The service is great. A bit pricey but worth it for never failing good quality food and excellent service.

We went there yesterday to place a “ to go order” menu. I was extremely disappointed with the way the lamb and pork chops were grilled and cane out like. I ordered these two items because I had a great experience with the same order from the Spur in Beacon Bay branch E.L. 2 weeks before. I would never recommend the Spur branch in Vincent to any of my people.

This was an unexpected awesome surprise find! The food was delicious with a generous portion! Although not an extensive menu the dishes on the menu are superbly prepared! If gin is your thing this is the place to be and if gin is not your thing it will be after sampling their range of amazing gins! The service was excellent from a knowledgeable waiter! It was my birthday on the 28th August which was a Friday. I booked a table for 6. We ordered a round of 3 shooters and cocktails. We had planned to order dinner and have more drinks but due to the terribly slow service we decided to go to Cantina. It took us over 30 minutes to get 4 cocktails (3 of which were the same). My partner had to wait an additional 15 minutes to get his which was the ginger gin cocktail. I was very annoyed our waitress kept saying it's coming. She had to pour drinks as well. The service is very slow and very bad for business considering it was not that busy. They should have planned better especially since we are allowed to dine inside a restaurant and it was month end and people have been paid and we have limited time to dine out due to the curfew. Really poor management

Having pizzas at half price is good. But to get customers to return you need good service and this is where they drop the ball. Being part of a group of 9 I did not receive a knife and fork with my pizza. I could not take this up with the waiter because after delivering the food he was not seen again until he brought the bill. He also never checked to see if we were enjoying our food. The lighting was quite dark, you could not read the menu properly. Really not impressed with this establishment.

I felt a bit rushed. My daughter had a Birthday voucher to use. I had a cheddar melt burger (yummy) both my daughter and I had finished our meal and drinks. She was to have her ice cream too. The waitress asked me for my spur card I said isn't my daughter supposed to get a ice cream, she was like now or take away. I told take away. I called to place an order and I was told it will be ready in 20-25 mins. I get to spur 40 mins after the order has been placed and still no food. There's noone at the front desk to assist. Eventually I spoke to two employees who clearly had no idea what's going on and provided zero help. I eventually got my order after 70 minutes.

The environment is also very friendly and safe for families, especially those with young children. The waitresses were very friendly and professional too. I ordered a peppermint crisp tart to go and didn't look in the box until I got home. The box was almost empty. I've had this dessert so many times at other Spurs, I recently had the exact same dessert in Mthatha and the portions were good, I've never been disappointed like this. I walked unplanned to have a full breakfast with my small juice ..maee my order ( R225).I was told not to open it they also sell juice ..I left the premises immediately... As much as they don't allow customers to bring own water or juice..how you approach it ..is important..don't fight customers
