Truly the best Spar store in South Africa and maybe even the world! Where else will you get a Spar store with 4 floors of stock ranging from food and drinks to clothes and shoes, a huge supply of hardware and a plant nursery from the Build it section, fishing supplies, toys, outdoor and sport supplies, arts and crafts, imported goods, a Bean Tree restaurant with private "chat rooms" for business meetings, electronics and more! No better stop for all you will need than at Spargs! The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Nothing at all to complain about. This store is also wheelchair friendly and easy to navigate the floors with elevators and escalators inside.

One of THE best shopping experiences I've ever had! You can literally buy anything here ... food, hardware, camping gear, house decor, pharmacy ... name it and it's there! Clean, friendly staff and ample parking space. Loved their exhibition of Ouma rusks - perfect for winter! This will definitely be our (more than just) a shop to go in future!

Everything under one roof! Love this place. Fishing gear, camping gear, household appliances, clothing and art section, fabric and haberdashery... There is a hardware store and a nursery. This place covers about everything and then there are still other businesses to visit outside this spar combination. Can easily spend an hour without breaking a sweat..

I could shop there just after 7am on Sunday morning. I was shopping there after a while. What a pleasant experience it was! Spacious, well stocked with good quality items, efficient staff, ample parking- truly your one stop shop! Will recommend any time to anyone. Keep up the good work!

Wow, I really enjoyed it. The store has absolutely everything you require and more. Very helpful staff, extremely friendly. Perfect for wheelchair users as well. The coffee shop has amazing meals and drinks. The garden centre is lovely. As a visitor on holiday I am super impressed.

Good parking. Variety of groceries. Good convince shopping from the nursey, to tools and hobby crafts. The center has good food options for sit down and take away.

Go to Superspargs! All in one. Saves you fuel and time. Hardware, groceries, fresh meat and veges, coffee corner with delicious cakes and muffins, eatery...that meal! Do you still want me to say more? Home appliances, clothing...endless shopping.

It's big, it's stocked well, it sells things you don't get anywhere else like fishing bait (baby mackerel) and chunky knitting wool. Ample parking and till points. A biggest thumbs up from me, I never visit East London without stopping here.

Such a great place to visit. All of your needs are catered for under one roof. There is really not something that one cannot find at Spargs. Just wish their prices will not differ from shelf to till, and that the specials advertised will be updated so that one does not still pay the regular price - only finding that out when one has returned home! I just overpaid more for my shopping this way!
