I lived not far away for one year and never checked it out. What a mistake. Now we are visiting EL for a week and gave it a try. What an awesome bar. What an awesome staff. They are so friendly you wanna move in. Food is great too. Chicken wings and steak was really good. Greek salad perfect. Try the oyster shots.

Pretty typical... Average drink variety. Food tastes precooked, ribs were hard, chicken strips were banging👌🏾 ambiance was superb, awesome music, lovely outdoor seating area, ladies room needs more attention, there's toilet paper everywhere cause the bins are full. Ridiculously slow service. We were about 10 people, by the time everyone's food arrived, our waitress didn't write down one of the orders and this girl sat without food. About 45 minutes later she only got her order, by the time we were getting ready to leave.

Sunsets on Beach has a great vibe....always! Big variety of choice of beers on tap, ice cold and with friendly service. Their barmen are really friendly and efficient with their service, I love going there. It's a place where "once the beer starts flowing it doesn't stop " 👍🏻👍🏻. Have to try their curry pita (fold over pizza) - that's a real winner!! O yes, best place to watch sport as they have more than enough TV's showing live sport throughout the day!

Yesterday i tried out the pulled chicken, bacon, and feta chicken and it was a disaster. For the price of R95 you get a very small burger bun, 1 lettuce, bacon and chicken mayo. For that price I was expecting a little bit more, something like a mountain but instead I got an afterthought, a kiddies sandwich. In the COVID-19 times i know that we have to write our own names but I was surprised that we had to take our own temperature, unsupervised. Not safe bro.

Our experience we had this morning was terrible. The cafe is very clean and neat, however the food was bad. The Quesadilla we ordered was very thin, burned all the way through with a bitter after taste. The Gourmet pulled chicken with bacon and feta was actually chicken mayonnaise on the bun with hardly any feta. Our waitress wisk the plates away without asking if we want a doggy bag with the left over food on the plate nor did she asked if we enjoyed our food. During covid-19 I would think restaurants would give their clients a better experience as it is very expensive to eat out.

So disappointing. First meal out in ages and a medium requested steak is frozen inside. Asked the waitress to show the chef. No response at all. Manager sitting at a table inside and he didn't even bother to get up or look up when we left.

I've been there twice with the office, and their food and service was good. The first time I went there with a friend we ended up leaving without being attended to. Felt like they prioritize big numbers, maybe it's a tip thing. I don't know. Because we were in the area already we ended up going to their neighbors TCS.
