Great place for hosting huge formal events... Excellent!!!

Great facility but the service leaves a bad taste. I’m currently in one of the rooms but can’t get hold of reception. First call was transferred without notifying me that I’m being transferred but not picked up by the intended recipient. All other attempts were in vain either rang unanswered or declined. I tried calling the number on the site but also in vain. If it was an emergency only God knows. It’s not the first time I get this kind of service from the staff, it’s concrning.

Yhooo most bizarre situation ICC @hotel. WE HAD TO WAIT 3'HOURS FOR THEM TO CONFIRM OUR BOOKING, APPARENTLY SYSTEM WAS DOWN WHOLE DAY WITH NO BACK UP. FOOD WAS HORRIBLE , YOU WOULD THINK YOU'RE EATING @Picknpay(fast food). Cherry on top I had to change my room @22PM coz apparently I was booked @ wrong room. Not Asome experience. Should be 0 STAR

Really beautiful hotel. Lovely sea view from the room. Rooms are huge! They were very clean. Bed extremely comfortable. The TV had a lot more channels than most hotels. Food is also great here!

Lovely hotel facing the beautiful East London beach front. The facilities are great and what's more wonderful is that some of the amenities are shared between Regent Hotel and the ELICC.

Me and my wife including my youngest son spent two days in this Premier Hotel just a week ago and my take or my experience follows; 1. Location is breathtaking, full view of the beachfront and the busy East London Port which once in a while cargo ships are being guided by tug-boat 2. Room is OK but not great, some of the joinery, lights, toilet seats and etc are poorly maintained. Got a busted lights, extractor fan not working, broken toilet seat and other things makes once wonder if cost cutting on maintenance is in effect 3. Food: it's a buffet and fruits, a chef cooking breakfast omelet or chowmein is available, food is great 4. Staff: quite friendly and very professional in their approach and interaction which is good in my opinion All in all my stay in the hotel is OK but not that great either

Restaurant was pathetic for such a good venue. Was at the ICC for a convention and went up to the restaurant for a bite with my director and his business associate. As they entered the manager was having a full on argument with a subordinate. Did not stop despite us entering and being seated. We had menus presented. Drinks were ordered but no tomato cocktail in stock and the barman didn't even seem to fathom what a bloody Mary was. We pleaded several times for them to try and organise us a few cans of tomato cocktail... But we had no luck...even with a spar around the corner.apparently they haven't had it for the past two years. So much for "international" . I will say that they did make us our breakfast which was a special request and after the usual service time so complements to the chef but that's where the hospitality ended. We ordered another round of drinks. And requested and paid for the bill. We sat for another 10 to 15 mins or so chatting .remember the menus presented earlier... Still on the table . We had ordered ...eaten ...had drinks. And no one had the courtesy to remove the menus or clear our table.maneger never even came to check on the table even though we were probably one of 3 tables in the entire restaurant. Fast forward to 2 pm.... we come back up as his was the only feasible venue in Walking distance for a meeting. We have a second business meeting and order coffees etc. Service was slow and mediocre at best. As an industry professional myself I am sensitive to the service provided to me by hospitality staff and often overlook most mistakes and we are purposefully extra polite and ki d to staff because we understand the industry. but in this instance I was appalled. Your staff need training. Manners and leadership. Safe to say I WIll not be having anymore business meetings there again. Do better

It is a professional place but their auditorium is little bit smaller, for big conferences. But besides that is a beautiful and wonderful place to be. Safe and clean

Very bad bad service.. When arrived after 2pm they told us alot of stories worce with alot of attitude.. They said we should wait for another minutes they don't know when the rooms will be ready mind you it's very cold, we are tired from a long drive. They eventually gave us a room which when we arrived at that room it was a wrong room we had to again call for room change. When the guy that was sent to take us to another room he made us wait for him to fix the room whilst we are waiting at the passage for another prolonged time. I'm very much disappointed I've never experienced this. Kindly forward me head office email and number I really need to report this

The housekeeper on duty couldn't help me with the aircon, had to switch it off There no cups or glasses to drink from the housekeeper brought a plastic bag with coffee and tea plus water enough for 4 people to use There was loadshedding happening was not informed that it wud happen as I did not prepare for it, no lighting was brought stayed in the dark for 3hours. After loadshedding the TV had an error and had to call housekeeping to assist after I thought 5hat maybe it would be sorted out within 15minutes. Hope that the next guest these issues will be sorted out.

Very beautiful facilities, amazing stuff, my great grandmother's birthday was a bliss thanks to the beautiful decorations, they went an axtra mile and offered walk-inn champagne 🥂. We had grand mothers and some could not walk waiters were provided just to serve them. Am left speechless by the kindness and the lovely service shown to my great grandmother's and her friends

Besides the fact that you can't take your own alcohol....nice place to relax as you listen to the waves at night.

East London ICC is a conference venue providing conference rooms and auditoriums of varying sizes. All facilities are of the highest standards.

Loved the place , i attended the biggest Choir competition for all colleges from different provinces ,the ICC is a very unique and large place to host any event...i enjoyed dressing some of the choir ladies from EL thank you for supporting Destiny Bridals 🌺

The Architect is magnificent, towering hotel rooms over the convention centre, well maintained. And scenic ocean view...

Terrible place, place does not look like it has been cleaned properly. Terrible smell in the whole hotel. Will never use this place again.

disappointed. even that is an understatement. the receptionist that "welcomed" me was arrogant, was told the room is not ready, didn't get the room i reserved and also paid more than the price that was displayed when i made the reservation. as if that wasn't bad enough, they double booked my room and so another guest came and opened my door. i was underwhelmed by the mediocre service i received.
