The best campsite I’ve ever been to. All the amenities one would expect from a campsite/caravan park and so much more. The property is huge, with many places to camp. All sites have electricity and a braai stand. The ablution areas are never too far away. Toilet paper is provided in every bathroom. Gas heated geysers make sure you’ll always have a warm shower. Every campsite has a tap for water. Picnic tables are scattered throughout the campground. The site has a swimming pool, tuck shop and laundromat to do laundry. Being able to wash your clothing is a big help. I recommend hiring a kayak/canoe for an extra fun adventure. My favourite part about the site is that it’s dog friendly and pet friendly. We had such a great time and we will definitely be visiting Yellow Sands Caravan Park again in the not too distant future. I’d like to commend Kaylin on her outstanding service delivery and warm and loving friendliness from the day we booked our campsite, until we left. Thank you Kaylin. You made our whole experience easy and streamlined.

What a lovely place to camp. Personnel helped to set up the tent (and they know their job), lovely sea or river views, clean ablution blocks - I even fell in love with the shower heads! The personnel were constantly busy on the premises with cleaning up or raking leaves. The tariffs are very reasonable. I will always recommend this park.

Our impression of this caravan park was already positive even before we arrived. The booking was professionally managed and we were updated continuously by Kaylin on the day of our arrival. On arrival, we were offered the use of a golf cart to go and pick our ideal campsite. A very warm welcome indeed. The bathrooms are clean and tidy and there are toilet facilities all over the park. Yellow Sands gets our vote for one of the best parks in the country!

A birder's paradise on top of a perfect beach caravan experience. Beautiful ablutions. Safe for the kids to cycle,swim,kayak,play in a spacious camp ground. Hiking trails on the farm. 177 bird species @Yellows in the past three December holidays we camped here. Birding highlights include Knysna woodpecker, Dark-backed weaver, Knysna turaco, Southern Tchagra, 5 different sunbirds (incl grey & olive), Western Osprey, African Pygmy Kingfisher, Half-collared kingfisher, Narina Trogon, Black-bellied starling, Tambourine dove, Grey Crowned Crane, Red-necked Spurfowl,and the list goes on

Beautiful camping grounds **** We only entered briefly to do private work at a resident's house. We were bitterly approached by one "unhappy" golf cart operator named Ayden who came to clear up a misunderstanding by calling us out and humiliating us in front of guests. When a man apologises genuinely and explains his intentions, you can get off your high horse, Ayden.

Great place to be. Extremely well run, clean safe and plenty of space for Jackson to run. A must stay when coming to East London.

Had a great 3 months camping there. Neat ablutions cleaned daily. Very safe. Beach and lagoon accessible. Enjoyed watching the WC rugby. Big swimming pool but the wheather did not permit us swimming. Love this place♥️

Really nice big camping areas, Clean camping spots with grass everywhere. Main ablution block is very very clean and really great shower facilities and even a nice big bath. But the secondary ablution blocks can do with a bit of upgrading. The entire camping site has a nice view of the ocean. Theres a tuck shop and a lot of activities for the kids. 2 pools also for swimming.

I love this place! The beach and river access is outstanding.The sunrises are awesome and lots of birdlife.An otter came to visit too!

River camp is a hidden gem, rustic but absolutely beautiful!

What a beautiful and friendly caravan park. Very popular over holidays and long weekends and also during low season with retired people. The park offers very good monthly tarrifs for over 60's and many longer term campers becomes good friends. The ablution facilities are excellent, the stands beautiful and well maintained, the beach and river exclusive for Yellow Sands and very safe and secluded. I highly recommend the park.

Beautiful and secure camping - we experienced no wind but I believe it can get windy. Nice basis to explore the surrounding area.

Visited Yellow Sands with 2 caravans from 11 to 14 July 2022. Wonderful caravan park, great ablutions, great idea to have toilets at strategic places apart from ablutions. Great beach, whats' not to love. Thanks to the crew of Yellow Sands for a wonderful stay.

Still one of my favourite camping resorts, after many years!

We loved this venue. It has 220 sites and is huge. The facilities are nice but very far from some of the sites. I suggest that they build some more. Its very close to the beach you can just walk there.

We were so lucky to get a site directly on the edge of the sea with only the beach between us and the sea. We watched dolphins often and even saw them interact with surfers. Taking hikes in any direction was fantastic. There are some of the sites further back with no views or protection against windy days. The ablution blocks are some of the best and cleanest I've ever seen. The only negative thing is the laundry facility. The machines are the same as most parks but these ones are set on only half wash and the dryers the same. The end result is washing that's still not properly clean and damp. All this might be tolerable but they charge R80 a shot to wash and dry one bundle of clothes!

Loved this place! From the fast, efficient online Booking system to the camping options available, we found this place awesome to stay at. Although pretty fully booked at the time, we camped out at the bottom on the river bank in total seclusion and privacy. An issue with the hot water system was sorted out promptly by a friendly co-owner of the property. Will definitely be returning for a longer stay!
